Sometimes happiness, sometimes sadness

I still cant comprehend what's happening...By then angel bought a laptop and started to play some thing.

"Aadi if everything was fine in our past,I thought to show this this on the morning I left you,But consequences made me leave and I couldn't show you this,But now it's time I show you this",She said and played it.

The video opened and I saw a frail old man on hospital bed,he seems to be handicapped to,the more closer camera moved towards him,I found him somewhat familiar,it took a moment but a sudden realisation flashed on my face.."DAD!!".

"Angel he is dad,but how,but...".

"Aadi you will get all of your answers,just watch the video".The video started to play,And i bit back a sob seeing the state of my dad,He was rounded with machines and pipes around his body.

"Aadi,My son,if you are seeing this video,that means this stubborn girl Tara has fulfilled the promise she made to me,Now my soul could rest in peace,Son I am so sad that you had to meet me like this after 20 years,but son I am glad I could atleast say you all these,all thanks to now might be your wife tara".

"But our hopes were crashed to find out that Mr.Murthy has already brainwashed your grand parents that Gauri is a shameless girl,she fell in love with a poor automobile engineer named gautam,that's me,and wanted to elope with me,He also turned the whole story like,when he meant to stop her from eloping gauri hit on his head and fled away with me".

"None believed in your mom and me,How much ever we tried to convince them about MR.Murthy they did not relent".

"That day your mom has to make a decison,regarding me or her parents".

"Aadi I still remember the words your mother said on that day.....

"Gautam,Lets go ,I dont have anyone,I lost my parents the moment they decided to believe some bastard other than their daughter,NOW YOU ARE EVERYTHING FOR ME GAUTAM, WILL YOU BE MY EVERYTHING? "

That's it son,I fell in love with her,with your mom,my gauri, She choose a poor engineers love to her parents riches,as she said we got married and I became her everything like she became mine"

"But MR.murthy did not change his ways,he wanted them to turn property on his name..But your grand father Mr.Kashyap still had a soft spot for your mother,So when he got to know your mother was pregnant,he made all the properties on his grandchild's name".

"But my misfortune,I gained you but lost my love,gauri,Your mother in the delivery,I was heart broken,but you became my life line son,I started living for you",By now my dad has tears in his eyes.

"Then one day Mr.Murthy came to our house,He said as I was poor,The custody of my son would be given to his grand parents,But I did not relent,I said I would give my life but not my son"

"But as they said BAD IS MORE STRONGER THAN GOOD,they used their money and power and snatched you away from me,Son I begged them ,did everything in my power to stop,but they did not relent,Your grandparents in thirst for a heir,did not see the pain of a father loosing his son...Son I still remember the day,when you shouted 'Dada,dada' from the car window".

"As the promise I made to you I came to get you son,daily...but they used to get me beaten by the guards...I spent years outisde the gate to just have a glimpse of you,But they never let me,One day they have gone very far to the extent of beating me and throwing me infront of a running car,I lost my legs".

"Even after I became handicapped,I came to meet you,But they moved you somewhere unknown to me,from then I started living the life of misery and dispair.....Every moment I waited for death"

" I was lonely; I was afraid. But the emptiness and the darkness are gone on the day a little princess came into my life,Tara ...that little princess made me her FAIRY UNCLE,She helped me into light,she gave me a hope,she and her friend an orphan boy worked together to get back joy to my soul,I started living again in a hope to see you again".

"Later one day I got to know that tara was admitted into a hospital,She always put others before herself,this time she wanted her family to adopt that orphan boy,but she doesnot know how hard they work to make the ends meet,She got depressed,I already lost gauri and you,I could not stand to loose that little princess tara too...so I adopted that boy and named him MOHITH,later he became my solace in times of need.But I never did forget about you son,nor did monu,I already said him about you and he always treated you like an elder brother,though you were not there and 11 years passed like that".

"It was tara's 18th birthday then,I started feeling many health ailments,I went for a check up,I was diagnised with cancer,I know I had very less time,But My thoughts were only for you,I knew how you would have become by now living with those people"

"I needed a ray of hope for your life and I saw that in tara...I knew she was the only person who could drag you into light of love from the darkness of your heart... Tara's a very nice person, and tends to think of others before herself,She always smiled and made others smile...She devoted all of her life to her family ,me and monu..she had her own special way with each and every one of them. She was a epitome of purity and innocence.She is kind.She always put others before herself ....Then I knew what I had to do".

"On my death bed,I took a promise from her,To search for you and love you...and I gave her your picture,Son the girl ,tara,is so precious like a jewel,she is a keeper,never ever hurt her,Do you know what tara said to me after I asked her to promise me?".

" "

"That moment son I knew I could die peacefully... I knew you will be safe with tara ,and with that vision of you both together in my mind, just quietly trusting it to come true I will breathe my last peacefully"

That's it the video went blur,I could hear people shouting dad..and fairy uncle...I know he was no more...I fell and my knees after watching that video.

I know angel n monu were trying to console me but I heard nothing else .... This terrifying notion had crossed my mind before, but hearing someone else say it was paralyzing. I sat on the floor, overwhelmed with emotion, and cried. This is the kind of thing that happens in movies, is happening in my life.It is like the experience of suddenly understanding a previously incomprehensible problem or concept.

Later at night I sat down at the garden alone atching the sky...It's too hard to take in.Angel came and sat beside me...

"Aadi please say something,Anything,But please dont shut me out",She cried.

"

",With that I again fell down sobbing.
