General pov:

Its been a month to Hayden and Elena's wedding. Sean had been behaving weird. Hayden was worried as hell alongside his dilemma of not being able to properly spend time with his wife owing to his busy schedule. It was time he does both of the things.

Here somebody had again threw some stupid note with warnings to beware and go away kind of things on Elena, but she didn't bother or deemed it as serious nor did she felt the need to alert Hayden. She thought it to be Hayden's fangirl or some secret lover boy. It was no big deal according to her, maybe just a passing phase after which they would relent and return back to their life.

Hayden first decided to talk to Sean and then leisurely spend time with his wife. Informing Delilah the same, he straight away drove to Sean's penthouse only to know from his housekeeper he was MIA since morning and it was evening then. It worried him to no end.

His calm facade was this close to fade away if his brother continued his shady behaviour like this. He called him relentlessly but in vain. Finally trying for the last time, he was shocked to hear the person who was on sean's phone. It was Veronica. "What the hell are you doing with my brother's phone?Where is he?" He barked altogether.

After a breath realising he has to maintain his composure and not let her get to him he calmly yet coldly repeated the question to intimidate her but She laughed as if mocking him and cut the call. He immediately knew his brother has landed himself in some mess.

Here Elena was trying to call Hayden persistently, but it was continuously going either engaged or he would cut the call. Biting her lip, she tried yet again.

Hayden seeing it was Elena again picked up when she said calmly "Hayden are you free?"

He at once cut her off and hurriedly chided her "Elena if I am not picking up, it must be something important. When had you become so childish and clingy?"

'It stung' thought Elena. It stung so badly that they were not able to spend quality time together at all after marriage and here he was being so cold, irritating and detached.

"I just wanted to tell you Sean is here and...." She had not completed her sentence when she heard the dial tone. 'What the hell just happened?' She thought looking at her phone. He did not even listen that Veronica was here too. 'Is he coming or not?' she was in dilemma to call him again or not.. in case he dismissed Sean being here for a normal visit. She didn't knew he was already searching for him and was on his way speedily.

Hayden got out of the car and doned his usual stone face to get answers from Sean at any cost today. He entered inside only to be welcomed by three of them standing there, actually two of them waiting anxiously and Veronica standing near the entrance smugly. He gave an apologetic discrete smile to Elena for earlier and said "What happened?" When Elena saw Sean was not replying she hesitantly dropped the bomb " He and Veronica got married"
