Elena opened the door wide with a loud thud calling "Hayden" startling everybody inside. "What happened? Are you alright?" She asked loudly with worried tone.

Hayden was shocked to see Elena there. He scrunched up his nose in confusing manner, then covering his expression, asked "How did you know I was in hospital?"

Elena didn't glance away from Hayden to notice any audience in the room. "I don't know some guy called me asking me who I am and told about your whereabouts" she said marching towards him fastly. "Guy.. what guy are you talking about?" He asked furrowing his brows unintentionally..

"I called her" told Sean - Hayden's brother giving him a sheepish smile.

"You have got to be kidding me Sean. Why did you call her, there was no need" he told him annoyed.

Before Sean could say anything Elena spoke up " 'What do you mean why did you call her? There was no need.' Really Hayden McCarthy?" She spoke gritting her teeth narrowing her eyes "I will strangle you more where there are no bruises" she said giving stress on each word eventually spitting all the anger she had within since yesterday. Hayden was amused to see it but mask it with innocent face. She can't even fight or scold properly. Such a innocent soul. She was looking actually cute trying to intimidate him.

Sean was controlling his laughter putting his hands on his mouth. 'The Hayden McCarthy' was getting scolded, it was a sight to behold.

One minute Elena was fighting with him, next she was checking his injuries. "Where does it hurt? How did you got in an accident?" Saying she started checking him, touching him everywhere to check the bruises. There was just some bruises on his head, it was already wrapped with gauge. And his hand had gotten a bruise or two, it was already given proper aid too.

Touching his forehead lightly, she asked "does it still hurt?" When Hayden winced in pain, she too hissed "sorry, sorry" saying she quickly retreated her hand. Her eyes watered. "You didn't want me to come here?" She asked hurt. Immediately Hayden become serious, all playfulness gone, he opened his arms motioning her to come. She quickly settled herself in his hug controlling her tears hugging him tight. Hayden relished in the fact that she cared for him. It was clear in her eyes, he held a special place in her heart. When she came in suddenly, he was shocked, she was looking angel in white dress.

The voice of throat clearing broke their moment. Elena blushed beetroot red realising her mistake that she didn't care that there was an audience to it. She distangled herself from Hayden and looked away closing her eyes tightly scolding herself for acting without thinking. Sean spoke to Elena smirking "Hie, I am Sean McCarthy, Hayden's brother, I know he won't introduce us, so I will do Honours myself."

Elena smiled pleasantly shaking his hand "I am Elena, Hayden's.... friend"

"Ohh, Elena? Nice name" Sean spoke "Whenever my brother bores you, you can come to me, I am a good company" he winked flirtingly.

"SEAN!" Hayden spoke sternly glaring at him.

"No he doesn't" replied Elena in between their banter smiling lovingly at Hayden.

Now It was Hayden's turn to smirk at Sean.

A nurse came into check him, gave a clean chit to go home and prescribed him some medicines. "I will go and check you out, also have to buy your medicines" said Sean showing them prescription in his hand winking at Hayden giving them some alone time.

"Lets go?" Elena said looking at him. "Yeah, just a minute" he said massaging his temple and stood up. Elena rushed to his side to help him by putting her arm around his waist supporting him. "Hello, I am just bruised not disabled" he sassed. "Hayden if you don't want to go home more wounded, just stop your nonsense" she said now in fighting mode. He sighed in relief on successfully distracting her mind from his accident. "By the way, you are looking pretty, where were you" he asked with adoration in his eyes. "On a date and you ruined it" she teased him.

"What? Go then, why did you came, I never called you." Saying he clenched his jaw tightly trying to remove her hand from his waist, but she tightened it. "Just kidding, I was in a marriage" she said "what marriage?" He asked confused "if you forgot Mr. Hayden McCarthy, I am a wedding planner, I was at one of it, but then this call came, and I came running without informing, oh shit, everybody must be finding me" she said now realising her mistake. "Ohh" he said smiling. She was looking at his angel in white dress. He noticed her from top to bottom and kissed her temple like second nature. She stopped speaking and turned to him in a questionable manner, but he shook his head and Elena let it slide.

On reaching outside, Sean was already standing there waiting for them. "I have called Liam, since Michael is on leave" Sean informed Hayden to which he nodded. Soon their car came and they walked towards it. Elena was eyeing Hayden time and then. "You wanna say something?" He asked softly to her. She hesitatingly shook her head leaving him to sit inside. Sean was watching them smirking inwardly to tease Hayden afterwards. When Elena half smiled, waving he again said sweetly "say it" "no..nothing, just... Should I..... Should I come?" She asked lowly.

"No, I am fine, you have seen yourself. You go back to your work, I will call later" he murmured sweetly pulling her to him, giving her a tight hug and a strong peck on cheek. "Okay, take care, bie" she said with a soft smile. "Hmm" he nodded seeing her going back back to her car. "Liam, office" he said now settling inside the car. "No, house" Sean said cutting him sharply sitting beside him. He sighed loudly, resting his head against seat and closed his eyes. "By the way, how did you get into an accident?" Asked Sean..

"I was just driving myself absentmindedly due to some reason since Michael was on leave and it just happened" He replied with closed eyes. "And the reason was?" His brother further probed..

"I was thinking about.... Nothing" he sighed not to burden him.

"No tell me?" He again said. Hayden send him a cold glare.

"This will not work on me anymore, I never thought Hayden McCarthy can smile, like real broad smile and can show emotions. By the way who was she?" He teased him.

Listening to Elena's name, an instant smile came onto his face. "Elena Kingsley, my wedding planner, and by the way, I remember why did you call her?" He scowled at him. "I was just checking" Sean said. Hayden raised his eyebrows to make him continue..

"I was just checking who was this 'LOVE' on your phone" he exaggerate the word love making signs in air with his hands.

"Who gave you my phone? And I have to change the lock, you have no manners to respect someone's privacy.. where is it? Give me my phone" he said now checking his pockets. " Ohh privacy and all, you didn't mind me invading your privacy before, something or someone's changing.. Whats going on?" Sean said.. when Hayden didn't answer.. he pestered him again and again..

"I love her, I am in love with Elena Kingsley, Happy?" He told his brother. "And Veronica?" Asked Sean with serious face..

"I talked with father, if I will be able to recover the loss of the Martins contract, he will let me breach it, thats why I was in hurry today, I was going to meet some investors" He replied seriously too..

"Oh-kay.." He replied processing the information in his mind. "And Elena?" Sean asked "what about her?" Hayden asked furrowing his brows. "Are you sure about her, does she confessed her love back?"

"Yes, I'm sure, and no I haven't said anything yet, and about her, I don't know if she loves me back, but she does care for me, but then she treats everybody with tender care" he frowned at his own observation..

"Wow, Hayden McCarthy - the Mr. Confident is doubting his own observation for the first time in his life? Are you kidding me bro, I have more experience with girls than you" he winked at him and continued " She definitely loves you, the way she came on one phone call, without cross checking whether it may be a prank or not, she just barge in here leaving all her work, and the way she was scolding you like she has all the authority in the world at you, definitely is love" He said..

"I am amazed you realised something right for the first time in all years of your existence" He pulled his leg with a sexy smirk...

"Haydennnn!" Sean whined like a baby

Hayden just smiled broadly shaking his head at him, to which Sean said

"You look weird smiling all the time, I am more used to expressionless face, I mean you did express your emotions with me before too, but this....this is something else" he snorted to himself..

Hayden just scowled at him. "But I still love you" He continued smiling himself hugging him tight.

Hayden just shake his head at his brother's childish antics....
