Elena's POV

I reached home. Aliya and Noel were already seated for dinner. I greeted them and join them after getting freshen up.

"Hey ellie , we were thinking.. " my sister stated

But as i dont like thinking too much ..

Haha u know what i mean

I replied " No" bluntly

"Listen to me first lil sis , i have talked to Erica and Taylor n they are willing to go with us. Also i have invited Adam . We ll go partying tomorrow. So be ready. No ifs no buts . You are not going to waste your life taking care of me and Noel. I am very much capable now. I earn fair amount. It ll be good for both of us. Also Adam is interested in you. So you ll return his advancement with equal zeal. Who knows he might be your true love as you want like fairy tales type true love in your life."

She finished her speech. I knew if i said no there ll be another emotional speech . But i dont like Adam in more than friends way. By the way Adam is Aliya's colleague who has tiny weeny crush on me . I dont know how. I mean i haven't given any hints to him but nonetheless i said yes to Aliya but in my mind i know tomorrow is no different than other days. And from no different you ll know soon what i mean..

Another day rolls by quickly and i was informed Mr McCarthy ll not be able to make it to the meeting for discussions. By meeting i remember that greek god Hayden McCarthy he was nycc looking but alas hez gonna get married so no thinking about it Elena. I started working on my other project. Therez this birthday party at Mr Michael woods for his child. I started working on it as nowadays i am more focused on wedding and also hez our neighbour, a sweet person who lives with his wife and child. I needed change before planning McCarthy wedding for some refreshing ideas. Erica come barging into my room for confirmation for today's plans. I give thumbs up with fake smile but dreaded inside. Adam is a nice guy but i only sees him as a Friend .. i dont know how to make everyone understand especially him..

I got home, Aliya was waiting for me.

"Here wear this, i ll do your make up n we ll be all dolled up to go" she said.

I saw it was a peach color lace dress. I got into it quickly totally trusting my sister's choice n sit in front of mirror for her to do my make up

"Make it light" i instructed her as usual

Yeah yeah i know" her usual response and then we both laugh. Noel was with our neighbour Mrs wood where she would stay with their daughter Jenna. They are good friends.

"Done" my sister claimed and we were all ready to go . Actually she was all ready to go . I was just tagging along just to avoid everybody's scolding. We hailed a cab and when we reached the club. We showed the guard our id and he let us in. The blaring noise of dj and so much crowd, i didnt like it at all. Let me tell u guys- I was nerdy goody two shoes at high school and even in university but that doesnt mean i dont like partying i just dont like so much crowd and alcohol. We searched for our friends. Surely Erica , Taylor and Adam were waving at us for afar to join them. We reached there with a bit difficulty.

"Hie" Both Taylor and Erica said

Then Adam comes and give me a long hug instead of hie . My sister was glaring at me to defy her. I as usual hug him awkwardly. Everbody knows he is interested in me n i am not. They call for shots. I instead ask for some mocktail. Soon all started enjoying it on the dance floor not caring who is whom. There were only Adam and i left. He asked me for a dance. I accepted. I tried to enjoy it but knowing he expects something else from this friendship i was not comfortable. So i excused myself for washroom n come outside the club for refreshing air.I smiled brightly to myself in the fresh air . I told you this was the usual routine i followed everytime i come along them. But ah ah i spoke too soon. This time was different

"Hie Ms kingsley" someone said

I turn around sure i was shocked but i recovered "hie Mr McCarthy" i said if he goes by last name then i should also goes all by last too . Right?? Wrong...
