Morning 7:45 AM

"So what's your choice." Jacqueline asked

I looked towards Jacqueline and the triplets and told them what I had decided.

"I'm not going to mess around and I'm not gonna get with some random guy. I thought about this long and hard all last night. So I'm gonna be single."

"are you sure about this because if you choose this route it will all be on you? ."

Jacqueline gave me an ultimatum between finding someone or risking my life and being single while Tristen comes.

this is hard but I guess I have to make the right choice.

"I've made my choice and the choice is when are you girls going to find me somebody that won't hurt me. somebody that I can break if I need to. somebody that won't care if I'm using them. somebody that's perfect because otherwise, I'm gonna be single."

"Yes, my queen."

Jacqueline and the triplets agreed to what I said but that all ended once I saw them look toward the kitchen door and we all heard his voice.

"What are you ladies talking about? "

All of the girl's eyes when on him except for me. I was too scared to tell him what he had to hear. I thought about what to tell him. should I lie to him or should I tell him that my ex-mate is coming after four years.

"Braelyn."

I couldn't hold it anymore. Since I had my back towards him I had to turn around. He called me again.

"BRAELYN!" I breathe in and out and turned around.

And I acted surprise

"How did you get in my house?"

He looked at me crazy and held up his keys.

"oh, m..my bad I forgot you had a key, but seriously what are you doing here. you know the girls were gonna be here."

"Stop stalling and answer my question. what are you hiding from me? "

"Just answer him he'll find out sooner or later."

I know Morticia had good intentions but she also had bad intentions at the same time just like Jacqueline she gave me an ultimatum either tell him or he was gonna find out later on.

"dammit. girls give us some privacy, please."

they all left and went upstairs with Seraphina and Corvina. me and Damien went to the library. I can't even look at him it's hard for me, but I had to rip the Band-Aid off.

"he's found me."

I waited for his reaction but I got nothing until a minute past and then his reactions started.

"what the fuck.! are you serious?! don't fucking play with me and you were going to lie to me.! in front of my face.! what are you not telling me for real!?"

he bombarded me with questions that I knew I couldn't answer. but he was my best friend so I gave him what I could.

"look I wasn't going to lie to you..."

I didn't get to finish my sentence before he said something.

"your we're going to lie. you weren't even going to tell me..."

so I stopped him.

Thats better. I put my hand over my mouth and made him shut up.

"like I was saying, I said I wasn't going to lie to you. I can only tell you certain things. since you walked in on us you've heard what you heard. he's coming back for me. he knows I'm alive. there's one more thing I want you to know, that I don't want you to be a part of it. I and the girls had figured out that if I'm with somebody that he might leave me alone, but j want to stay single."

He gave me a smirk and a little chuckle and then he spoke

"you and the girls figured that out. sorry to say it, but if you think with you being with somebody is going to make him leave you alone. then your surely mistaken because that will only make him mad and possessive. I'm just saying that from other people's experiences."

I didn't want to believe it but if Damien is saying the truth. then why would I get with somebody if he would just get mad and possessive. Plus Damien is a male and we're females.

"GIRLS!!! down now!!!"

all I know is that when I said girls I heard running and running and running and running until I heard a crash sound and I started laughing because I know somebody fell on the stairs and I didn't hear any more running.

---------------7minutes later--------------

That's when the kitchen door opened and in came the girls.

"So who fell."

"Matilda." all of them said

"Come on sit down I have things to tell y'all."

The girls all day down on the couches well the triplets did Jacqueline sat on top of Damien. Did I forget to mention that they are mates and my best friends? as they all sat down and waited patiently till I said something?

I tried to figure out what to say

"I informed Alpha Damien and he has given me some male insight and critiques about what we should do."

"You told the alpha." they all said

"I didn't tell him everything he just knows that whatchamacallit knows I'm alive and we have a plan, but I gave him a little peek and he said if we bring another man then we just put fire on fire."

"Are those his words because you always say something and use your words."

Morticia always has to put her input on things

"He said that if we bring another man he will be mad and possessive."

"So what do we do now?"

"well, we're gonna go ahead and take alpha Damien's advice. And do what I wanted to do in the first place ill be single."

They all nodded their heads

"Let's say you don't get with someone then what. What will you do then? What will happen when he comes? "

Morticia said

"Yeah, what would happen? Do you think he would take you away? Or worse make you disappear."

Matilda murmured after Morticia

"Damien what do you think I should do." I let out

"Let me think."

"Since your asking me for my opinion then I'm gonna tell you straight, because like women say we don't know y'all well y'all don't know us. Maybe next time when you want to go against the opposite sex try talking to them for help and not your own."

He paused and waited for my reaction

"Well, tell me. I ain't got all day."

"Just be your self. If he's your mate then only time will tell. I know he's hurt you over the years but don't you deserve happiness. If he has come to see if your real and to win you back then see where it goes but if he is here to hurt you then that's on you."

Damien gave me some good advice and I took it.

Tristen you better come with good intentions.
