I wake up to my phone ringing and glare at the ceiling. I swear if Harper or Layla are calling me right now I'm going to be pissed. I mean everyone knows not to wake me up in the morning. Call 911.

I grab my phone without looking at the caller's name and say, "Why the fuck are you calling me? I'm trying to fucking sleep."

"Oh god I'm so sorry Red. I thought you'd be awake by now! Sorry never mind..." The person who sounds like Ethan says.

My eyes go wide and I look at the screen. "Oh my god Ethan! I'm so sorry. I thought you were Harper or Layla..." I say feeling horrible.

"It's fine." Ethan says laughing. "I can hang up if you want. I know I probably just ruined your afternoon and-" Ethan says nervously.

"No! It's okay! You have permission to call me anytime since you're like my boyfriend and stuff..." I say awkwardly.

"Even at 3 in the morning?" Ethan asks.

"Even at 3 in the morning." I say smiling at the floor. Oh shut up!

"So what's up?" I ask getting out of bed.

"I was just wondering if you wanted to go Black Friday shopping? I mean I'm probably not gonna buy anything but it would be fun to hang out at the mall or something." He says.

I smile and say, "Ya sure!"

"Pick you up in 30?" He asks.

"Okay!" I say walking into my bathroom. After the call ends I start to get ready. I brush my teeth and keep my hair down.

After I change I walk down the stairs and see everyone in the living room watching tv. "Where are you off to?" My mom asks.

"Just the mall with Ethan. I also want to buy some bubble tea." I say smiling.

"You think you can bring me some?" Jade asks.

"Of course!" I say smiling. "Kiwi with boba right?"

"Yep." She says.

The doorbell rings and I look through the window.

I open the door and stare at Ethan. No please stop. I bring my eyes back to his face and see him smirking. "Shut it." I say closing the door.

"I didn't say anything!" He says grinning.

I roll my eyes and he says, "Not that you need my opinion but I think you look stunning."

"Well thank you. You look... okay I guess." I say shrugging.

He puts both hands against the door caging me and my eyes widen. "Really?" He whispers a few inches from my face. It's 40 degrees right now...

"Uh-huh." I say moving closer.

He closes the gap and brushes his lips against mine. I tug on his hair and he pulls me closer. A few moments later we separate and he gives me a cute smile.

"Can we go to the food court? I haven't eaten anything all day..." I say.

"Sure." He says shrugging.

We start to walk towards the food court and I look around.

Ethan follows me to the cashier and I ask, "Can I have a small chicken sub?"

"Ya sure! Anything else?" The worker asks.

I turn to Ethan and ask, "You want anything?"

He smiles and says, "Maybe fries?"

"Large fries please!" I say handing the worker my card.

Once I get my card back she hands me my food and Ethan picks a table. "I'll be back. I have to go buy some bubble tea! Do you want one?" I ask.

"No thanks." He says popping a fry into his mouth.

I walk over to the stand and ask, "Can I have a strawberry snow with boba?"

"Ya sure." She says entering my order. After I give her my card she starts to make the smoothie. It'll only be a few minutes geez.

I look at the table Ethan's sitting at and see he's talking to Clarissa. Well she has like 5 bags of PINK and Lululemon shit. Why?...

"Strawberry snow with boba!" The worker says.

"Thanks!" I say grabbing my drink. I walk back to the table and see Clarissa is still there.

"Ya no thanks..." Ethan says looking irritated.

"What's up hoe?" I ask Clarissa with a smile.

"Excuse me?" She asks looking offended.

"Are you deaf? I asked what's up..." I say sitting down beside Ethan.

She rolls her eyes and asks, "You're still with her?"

"Ya she's my girlfriend." Ethan says in a duh tone. I glance at his face and see he's grinning.

I smile at her and she glares at me. "You two aren't gonna last." Ethan flips her off and I laugh. He hands me my sub and I start to unwrap it.

After a few bites I turn to Ethan and ask, "What did Clarissa want?"

"I think she wanted me to go shopping and then go to her house to hang..." He says putting air quotes on the word hang.

"Well she won't be bothering us anymore. She always stops once she finds out the boy she's after has a girlfriend. But only if they're official." I say.

"And how do you know that?" Ethan asks raising an eyebrow.

"She liked Hunter last year until Harper snatched him." I say laughing. "At least she has the decency to stop going after a guy when they're already in a relationship."

I take a sip of my drink and Ethan asks, "Can I try it?"

"Sure." I say shrugging.

He takes a sip and says, "Wow that's pretty good!"

I continue to eat my sub and Ethan asks, "Anything you want to go shopping for?"

"Not really... You?" I ask him.

"Nope. Wanna just walk around?" He asks.

I finish eating my sub and then say, "Ya!"

He's about to take another sip of my drink when I grab it out of his hand. I laugh and he pouts while I take a sip. I lean in to kiss him and murmur, "Buy your own."

"I hate you." He says pressing his lips against mine. His lips actually taste minty... Shut up.

A few moments later we pull apart but I peck his lips one more time. "You know you love me." I say winking with a smile. He laughs and gets up to throw away my trash.
