"So how was your first week of school?" I ask him.
"It was okay..." He shrugs.
"Well at least you made friends! And have one amazing bestie!" I say clapping.
"I don't have any besties..." He says confused.
"Bitch." I say flipping him off.
"I'm just kidding." He says laughing. I roll my eyes and playfully glare at him.
Once we get inside we put our backpacks in the break room and put on our aprons. I watch Ethan put on his pink apron and keep in a laugh.
"Don't you fucking dare laugh at me." He says glaring at me.
I begin to laugh after he glares.
"Oh you think it's funny huh?" He says backing me up into a corner. I can do that now right?
I turn to run around him but he automatically grabs my wrist and twirls me into his chest. "Why do you keep twirling me?" I ask against his chest.
"I actually don't know..." He says.
He cages me in the corner and leans closer. Well damn that's a little extreme isn't it? He hasn't actually hurt me yet...
He smirks and starts tickling me. "Are you fucking kidding me?" I say in between laughs. "Stop it asshole! I did not give consent to this." I say.
"I'll only stop if you say I'm your favorite person in the world. Also that I look sexy in this apron." He says.
"Never!" I yell.
We hear the door open to the break room and see Mrs. Cooper. "Stop making out and do your jobs. Your shifts started 5 minutes ago." She says leaving the room.

Ethan stops tickling me and I ask, "Why does she keep thinking we're making out?"
"I don't know. Maybe she sees how desperate you are trying to date me." He says shrugging.
I scoff and say, "You think I want to date you? Hell no. Because dating leads to marriage and I would never ever ever ever marry you."
"You want to bet $20 on that." He asks smirking.
"Hell ya." I say smirking back.
He holds out his hand and I shake it. "Deal." We say at the same time. We walk back into the cafe area and start to serve the customers.
I decide to take my break and head outside with my backpack. I take out the carton of eggs and make sure no one is watching me.
I'm about to open the egg carton when I freeze. Ugh. Who am I kidding I was never actually going to egg his car... Ya...
I come back inside and head to the break room. "You're done with your break already?" He asks.
"Nah I still have like 20 minutes left." I say. I'm not really hungry so I just watch another episode of The Office.
20 minutes later Ethan comes in saying, "Your break is over."
I pause the episode and say, "Awww did you miss me?"
"No, Grandma Linda told me to tell you that..." He looks at my phone and asks, "What show are you watching?"
I gasp and my eyes widen. "What..." He asks tilting his head.
"You haven't watched The Office?" I ask surprised.
He shakes his head and says, "I've heard of it but I never watched it..."
"You have to watch it! It's on Netflix." I say smiling.

He scratches his neck and says, "I don't have Netflix..."
I think for a few moments and say, "We HAVE to watch it during our breaks!"
He laughs and says, "Okay."
"How are you even living without watching The Office?..." I ask leaving the break room.
When our shifts end we say goodbye to Mrs. Cooper and get into Ethan's car. "Any plans this weekend?" Ethan asks.
"I'm seeing a movie tomorrow with the fam." I say laughing.
"Sounds fun!" He says smiling.
"What about you?" I ask.
"Just staying home." He says shrugging.
"Take a right here." I say. "Do you have any siblings?" I ask.
"Ya I have a little sister and she's six." He says.
"Oh cool my sister's six too!" I say.
We finally arrive in my neighborhood and I point to my house. "There is mi casa!" I say laughing at myself.
He parks in the driveway and he walks me to my door. I grab my key and unlock the door. "Thanks for driving me." I say.
"No problem." He says giving me a small smile.
"Oh I almost forgot! I wanted to give you something." I say putting my backpack inside. Yep!
"Close your eyes!" I say covering his eyes.
"Why? Are you going to murder me? My body is hard to drag..." Ethan says.
I roll my eyes and say, "If I wanted to murder you I wouldn't do it alone."
"That's reassuring..." He says sarcastically.
I ruffle his hair and he says, "Stop touching my hair."
"Okay!" I say smashing the egg on his head. I quickly take a picture and start laughing.
"Oh my god your face!" I say showing him the picture.
"Delete it." He says glaring at me.
"Never!" I say shutting the door in his face.
I send him the picture on Snapchat and text:
😊
He starts to type and texts:
🖕
I exit the app and smile. I go up to my room and take a shower. Then I put on a random shirt and sweatpants on. I put my hair up into a very ugly bun and head back downstairs.
I see mom and dad just got back from work and kiss them on the cheek. "What's up guys?" I say.
"Scarlett help me with these groceries!" I hear Jade, my little sister shout.
"Coming!" I yell.
I grab 3 bags and she grabs the Cheez-It box.
After we finish getting the groceries, Jade and I sit in the living room. "Anything on tv?" She asks.
I look at the guide and see Impractical Jokers is on. "Impractical Jokers!" I say.
My dad comes in and says, "Did I hear Impractical Jokers?"
"Yep!" I say.
We all sit in the living room while my mom cooks. 30 minutes later she shouts, "Dinner!"
We walk into the kitchen and see she made spaghetti. "Yes!" I say getting a plate.
Once we're done with dinner I go upstairs and finish the rest of my homework. Before I go to sleep I send my streaks and plug my phone into the charger.
I decide to read a few chapters in a random Wattpad book until I start to feel sleepy. I feel my eyes start to droop and go to sleep.

The Last Orellen (An Epic Progression Fantasy)
According to prophecy, the ninth-born child of Lord Orellen will have the sort of power that changes the world. But in a land ruled by mage families, no one welcomes the possibility of a dangerous new player. Fearful even of their allies, the Orellens come up with an extraordinary and deadly scheme to protect themselves. If the most powerful sorcerers in the world wish to kill the ninth-born, they will have to find him or her first. And that's not going to be easy when the Orellens have called upon dark magic to create hundreds of heirs. The boys and girls are given new bodies, new names, and even new magical talents before they are scattered across the continent. Only one among them is the real ninth, but all of them will have to grow up in a world where they are fugitives. Kalen, once fated to die, is now an Orellen heir in hiding. And he is determined to survive, even if he has to master his strange new powers to do it. The Last Orellen is a long, character-focused progression fantasy set in a vast universe about a boy's journey to become a powerful mage. Reviews are deeply appreciated. Please do not repost my work elsewhere without my written permission. What type of reader is this book for? You might enjoy The Last Orellen if you like... Clever and resourceful protagonists. Big fantasy worlds. Multiple cultures, lots of characters, many different types of magic--this story is expansive rather than closely focused on a narrow storyline. Progression fantasy that takes its time. Our main character will be progressing through magical ranks, but this is going to be a lengthy story. If you're more about the journey than the destination, this might be the book for you. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Dungeons Are Bad Business
Vee Vales has been kicked out of his home and directed to make his own way in the world. Along with his friend Alforde Armorsoul, Vee travels to the city of Oar's Crest. Once a prosperous and well-to-do city, Oar's Crest has fallen into depression and disrepair. After finding a strange stone that takes up residence in a tattered top hat and introduces itself as Reginald, Vee and Alforde decide to open a dungeon in Oar's Crest to revitalize the city and, more importantly, make some fleurs. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Author's Note: Dungeons are Bad Business (DABB) is a slow burn slice-of-life dungeon core litRPG citybuilder that's focused on the day to day experience of running a dungeon. There will be some action, but it won't be the focus of the story and Vee and his friends will usually overcome their problems with their minds and their pocketbooks instead of their weapons. Since I'm participating in the writeathon, I will probably be uploading chapters almost daily for the duration of the event. Thanks for reading!

Aristocratic Avenue
Andrew had a pretty simple life plan: write LitRPG fiction, make a boatload of cash, and... well, he'd figure out what he actually wanted to do with the cash once he'd gotten it. But things haven't worked out quite as he'd hoped. After dozens of failed LitRPG serial attempts and countless thousands of words written, he's found himself pushing forty and broke, living alone in a crappy apartment. But when the platform upon which he publishes his work, Aristocratic Avenue, gains sentience, he and his fellow writers suddenly finds themselves transported to a playground of its own making, a place where there are no rules except the ones the authors have imposed upon themselves through their own writing. Spawned in pods of three, they will need to work together to figure out just what the darned heck they're supposed to be doing and how to get the goodness gracious out of there. In Andrew's pod are the bossy and enigmatic Margeaux Sinclair, crossover erotica/LitRPG author who immediately demands increasingly kinky sex from the hapless Andrew in order to level up. There's also teenager Zachary, who is rather regretting his choice to write about a world populated only by the undead. Turns out, it's kinda hard to talk when your lips are rotting off.Armed only with his skills of Deduction and Investigation and an inspirational mug he managed to bring along with him from home, Andrew is determined to answer one question:What the ever-loving blessed little heart?!---This is a blow-off-steam hobby project, and I can't tell you how often it'll update as it's dependent on my regular work. But I hope you enjoy it regardless!
