《Loving Everly Gray (✔️)》Chapter 56

Darkness was all I could see when I opened my eyes. I couldn't help, but feel panic rising in me, as I tried to scream for help, but all I could hear was the muffled all thanks to the cloth in my mouth. My hands tied behind what feels like a pillar and the blind fold restraining me from seeing anything give my senses a very high alert as I sense someone walking towards me. My bottom feels colds due to the ground being so cold.
"Finally you are awake." I heard his voice and boy, you could make out he was angry. He pulled my hair as I cried out in pain and he whispered in my ear.
"I should have just killed you there instead of bringing you here, you and your f*cking boyfriend ruined my plan. What the f*ck should I do with you? Should I kill you now or kill you slowly?" As I felt something sharp on my neck as I started crying.
He left my hairs and took off my blind fold and the lights almost blinded me. We were in a warehouse, the sunlight coming from the window was too bright for me as I winced. I see Hunter and few other people casually around the area, playing by themselves.
"I lost my gold bars and my clients." He spat, angrily.
I have no idea what had happened or what he was talking about, all I know is I have to escape from this guy, it was now or never. He was ready to kill and I wanted to move away from him as quickly as possible.
"I am this close to killing you right now." He said angrily as he huffed and walked away.
Judging by the lights, it seem to be afternoon. The warehouse was cold, extremely cold and I was feeling way too cold, due to the fact that these crazy guys took off my down jacket and I am in my hoodie, freezing.

"She is pretty." Someone's filthy hand played with my hair, before showing me his face and I turned my face, to get his hand out of my hair.
"I thought that a**hole left the city." Hunter screamed and walked to me. "What was he thinking?"
He is acting like I know what was happening. I have no idea what happened and why they kept telling me Elliot ruined their plan.
"She look confused." Landon sighed, his anger subsiding a little. "She seem to have no idea what we are talking about."
"Or this b*tch is pretending."
"If she would have known the plan, she wouldn't be here with us?" Landon said. "They would want her safety, first."
"I don't trust them." Hunter said and looked at me, thoughtfully.
"What do we do with her?" Another asked.
Landon looked at me and seemed to be having a debate with himself as to what to do next.
"If we kill her, we will have criminal records." Some guy said.
"We already have criminal record for possession of weapons and illegal fights." Hunter said, rolling his eyes.
I was feeling so cold as my breathing slowed down.
"She will have hypothermia if she continue to sit like this." Someone said, panic in his voice. "She does not look too well, either."
"Good for us. We can leave her like this for a couple of hours and then dump her somewhere." I heard one of them said, as everything around me started spinning, my hand and face was numb by now.
Just as I thought that they will leave me to die, I heard sirens and shout as I heard cussing and next thing was gun shot. Everything was blurry to me. It was like a dream, I have no idea by now if the situation I was in is either a reality or a dream.

"Everly." His voice called out and I thought I was dreaming, well it have to be a dream. He can't be here, he is miles away and left me without giving me a chance that he could trust me.
My hand was free in a while and I felt something warm wrapped around me,but it was too late as my eyes started dropping. I heard voices around me and people shouting and saying something, but I heard his voice. "I am here, baby. I am so sorry that I am late, but I am here, now." And that's how I ended up being unconscious.
I blinked as my eyes opened and I see white ceiling above me. I was warm, very warm that I was sweating and I groaned trying to move the blankets away from me.
"She is awake." was the first thing I heard and my head turned towards the people.
"Mom? Dad? What are you doing here?" I asked as I sat up and coughed a little due to dry throat.
Mom quickly handed me a glass of water to help me settle. "We got called by the police saying you were hospitalized and we had to come back."
I felt guilty for ruining their holiday. "I am sorry." I apologized.
"You have nothing to be sorry about, honey." Dad said. "We are so glad you are okay." He cried a little.
"I am okay. What happened?" I asked.
"A lot of things happened, but we are not sure exactly what happened." Mom said. "Your friends are talking to the police."
"Abby and Cole?" I asked.
"Yes." Dad said, "Even Elliot is here."
"Elliot? What is he doing here?"
"What do you mean?"
"Didn't he go back to London?"
And right then, someone opened the door and I turned and see him walking to me, he looked so tired. His hair seemed a mess, but he still looked beautiful. His eyes was stormy green as he looked right back at me. He seemed pretty mad for someone who look tired.
"Everly." He whispered my name and everything around us turned silent.

Polyrhythm Time -- A Bard's Tail
Have you ever met someone who loves what they do so much that they'll skip sleep, food, love and safety to pursue it? What happens if that kind of person encounters a different dimension, yet holds on to their love of music, and specifically of rock drumming. When the world ended at the end of 2057, Kevin Snackenbridge slept through it. He'd been drumming all night. tl;dr-- System eats world -- Monsters and magic ---- LitRpg -- Practice, not levels and stats ---- MC Bard -- support class -- low power ---- MC chooses music over survival skills --tl;dr Kevin trips into the Internal Strength Dimension where Thaumaturgy is king. With the help of a talking plant and several vicious monkeys he learns that the rule is "Change or die." Kevin changes, but remains firmly a drummer/Bard in this high fantasy setting. This is Kevin's adventure, and that of the friends he meets. Kevin has the soul of a real musician. He loves music, specifically rhythm and drumming, and would give his left nut if it would help him drum better. He's a rock drummer, and his language is that of a rock drummer: slanged, duded, and frequently laced with profanity. He focuses on music, and makes decisions that even the author doesn't approve of. However, that means all his decisions are Kevin's decisions, not those of a system-optimizing power-gamer. There's points (All of Arc 2) where he wanders aimlessly. Goals seem foreign to him at points. What would you do if you were a musician, and the world fell apart and you no longer had an audience or band-mates. You'd be kinda lost. Kevin is. Arc 2 is a lot of Kevin not knowing what to do, going with the flow, and not being articulate enough to know that he doesn't know what to do. 1. Chapters start short near 500 words, and grow to 12-1500 by ch.100 2. Chapters daily
