Weekend flew by quicker when I am working and hanging out with Elliot. He makes things a little much more better. Abby does not know about Elliot's life after school, which made it so much more harder to explain my weekend to her. I had to edit out parts and made sure that I didn't spill things about Elliot. I wouldn't have believe if anyone would have told me that I will be keeping secrets from her in the future. People started accepting, that Elliot and I are together and will be seen together. Brianna's glare was enough to make me avoid her at all cost, Elliot walk me everywhere I go in school, it did bother me a lot in the beginning, but I started accepting it as he decided to avoid my request.

On Wednesday, Cole finally enrolled in our school. He was the hot topic in school from the very moment,when Elliot and I stepped out of the car. Cole and Elliot, if you give them baggy clothes- they will still look handsome, in spite of them wearing lots of clothing, they still look handsome. Cole's face was flushed due to the cold, Elliot pulled me close and his body heat made it a little better for both of us.

"Finally I have someone in school to trust." Elliot said as I nudged him. "I trust you, but there are matters where I have to make sure you are doing fine and I don't know who to ask to watch out for you, now I have another eyes to watch you."

"That sounded creepy." I said.

"Here I thought you really wanted me to study in the same school as you because you missed being my classmate." Cole said rolling his eyes.

Elliot beamed as he give Cole a high-five. Abby was gawking at Cole, I would be too. These two cousins are so handsome and they are aware of what they can do with their looks.

Cole pulled me and put his arm on my shoulder. "Thanks for volunteering to be my school guide." He said.

"She never volunteered." Elliot pulled me back and wrap his arms around my waist.

"Abby can volunteer." Elliot said and I heard Abby choking from her drink.

"Why can't your girlfriend help me? We have the same schedule."

Elliot rolled his eyes, "You have got to be kidding me."

"You wish." Cole smiled, "and plus, she is my friend now, so why can't she help me?"

"Fine." Elliot said as he give me a quick kiss on my cheek.

"That was easy." Cole grinned.

"No funny businesses or you will get your a^s kicked." He warned.

Cole did not need any help getting friends, wherever he sat, everyone gathered and asked about him. His british accent give people hint, that either he knows Elliot or related to Elliot as they were seen together in the morning. By the time, it was lunch- he was the popular child.

"Where do you guys sit for lunch?" He asked.

"Really depend, you can go ahead with your plan." I said, not wanting him to sit with sad lonely Abby and I. Elliot was going to practice something in the gym, so he said he won't be seeing me until school is over.

"Sure?" He asked.

"Yes." I said. He then left to hang around with whoever he was planning.

I met Abby near her locker. "Stairs?"

"Definitely." I said.

"I didn't know you know Cole." Abby started, I was waiting for her to ask me that question for a while.

"Yes, Elliot introduced me to him. He moved recently.

"He is handsome." Abby said.

"I bet their whole family is as good looking as them."

"Definitely." She agreed.

Two students came to us, looking scared. "There is someone looking for you." One of them said as he nudged the other guy, who simply nodded his head.

"Who?"

"Brianna."

"If she want to see me, shouldn't she come by herself?" Maybe after roaming with Elliot for a while, his boldness is rubbing into me. Months back I would have went to meet Brianna by myself or in fact, months back- she wouldn't be looking for me because I didn't exist for her, but now that the guy she likes is with me.

"Do you think it is a good idea?" Abby whispered beside me.

"Well, I am already in trouble, so you think she is going to treat me well if I go by myself?"

Her mouth opened and closed. The two guys give us, what seem like an upset look, before leaving.

"I am so done with them." I said pursing my lip together. "I did not do anything to them, yet they keep coming back and giving me trouble."

"Well, you basically stole the school's boy's heart, so you actually did something." She teased.

"Right." I said, rolling my eyes. "Are you on my side?"

"Always, Girl."

If Brianna wanted, she could have broke the door to find us. She walked in with a loud boom as the door hit the wall with a loud banging sound.

"You are too bold these days." She snapped. "Just because you are dating Elliot does not mean you can get away with things."

"What am I getting away from when I did nothing to you?" I asked, tilting my head in confusion.

She scoffed as her two followers give each other looks.

"He is just playing with you."

"That's none of your business, my relationship with Elliot is something you should be staying away from." I said.

She smirked. "I tried." And she took a deep breath, "but you keep crawling back like an unwanted bug."

"Am I the bug or you are the one?" I retorted back and she looked at me with offended glare.

"Too bold for your good." One of her follower snarl at me.

I sigh, "and you are too bold to bully others, should I report you to the school?"

"Are you six?" the other one snapped.

"Standing up for bullying have nothing to do with age." I pointed out.

"You don't have to give us talk about these." Brianna snapped. "What he saw in you is bothering me."

"He saw things that he likes is the reason why he is with her and not with you." Abby snapped back and I signal her to not come in between as I am worried about her safety.

"I agree." I heard Elliot's voice and I see him with Cole. He was mad, his eyes was blazing with anger, but his face looked calm.

"El." Brianna's tone was much more sweeter as she greeted him.

"I thought I made it clear to stay away from Everly, especially with threats like these." Elliot said standing in between us.

"She and I was just having a conversation."

"Sounds like a threaten to me?" Cole interrupted.

Brianna batted her eye lashes at the cousins.

"You are hot, but you have very trashy attitude." Cole said. "Turn offs for me."

Brianna's mouth dropped open and her followers just gape at Cole.

"If you were a nicer human being, you could have found much better person to date." Cole said shrugging. "What's the harm in being nice? Don't you want to feel nice and share some good things with the community?"

Brianna looked embarrassed, "El is taken because he found someone he likes, you should accept that not everyone will like you and if you like someone so much, you would want them to be happy not create some problems for them and make them feel miserable. It shows how selfish you are, as a person." Cole added.

Brianna just walked away and her two followers ran to catch up with her.

"It was a good thing I went to sit with that table, I had to learn stuffs about them and glad, that one of the guy shared it with me." Cole said, rather proudly.

"What are you so happy about?" I asked.

"I was feeling guilty that I was leaving you behind for lunch, but I had a reason to. Glad that it worked out well and that girl learnt her lesson, or maybe not? It is her problem if she wants to take this situation as a learning opportunity or simply ignore it."

"Ain't you such a nice friend?" I teased.

"Always the loyal one." He said, proudly as Elliot coughed beside me.

"Seems like you two are getting along very well."

"Definitely." Abby muttered. "I thought I was your best friend."

"You are." I said.

"Maybe I just stole your spot." Cole stuck his tongue out at her. "Sore loser."

Abby glared at him. "Of course, you have to be arrogant and mean with your good looks."

"Thanks for the compliment about my looks, I made a lot of effort to dress well for my first day of school."

"Look at your confidence." Abby sarcastically, chuckled.

"Confidence is my second name." He winked.

"Arrogance should have been." Abby added.

"What is wrong with you two?" Elliot said, "Why are you two even fighting? She is mine."

Cole and Abby turned to look at Elliot. "She is your girlfriend, but she is my best-friend." Abby said.

"I took the title and now she is my best friend." Cole corrected.

"Best friend?" Elliot scoffed. "It's not even a week since you met her and you are calling her best-friend? Stop kidding me."

Abby smirked, she thought Elliot had her back- what he said next, surprised all of us.

"She is not only my girlfriend, she is my best friend."

"What is with you people and the title of best friend?" I asked. "We all can be best friends, right?"

None of them responded and give me a weird look.

"You two should be best friends since you two are cousins." I pointed out and they looked at each other.

"We are brothers." Cole corrected me.

"Exactly, best friend and brothers."

"This conversation is going no where." Abby pointed out.

"Exactly." I said, "what are you guys doing this afternoon?"

And that was the fastest way to get everyone's attention away from that weird topic we were having.
