Elliot showed up to my place the next morning. He said we should go to school together. I told him, that Abby was actually picking me up and I cannot ditch her.

"Okay, then I will carpool with her today." He simply added.

"How will you go home?"

To which he smiled and said, "I have ways." He was not joking about that. Abby was more than happy to drop him to school.

I looked outside the window and did not say anything through out the trip.

"Are you going out with Aiden like that?" Abby said, putting me on spot and Elliot leaned in.

"She is not going out with him."

I turned to look at him and said, "Actually I am."

To which he raised one of his eyebrow at me and leaned back to the seat and scowled at me. Abby felt the tension between us rise as she drove us to school. She wanted to comment, but she did not know what to say: it was all clear in her face.

Elliot stuck by my side and walked me to my locker and classes.

"Can you not do these?" I asked, when I see the eyes following us.

"Do what?" He asked innocently.

"Follow me around. Go and follow Brianna or someone else." I said.

"I want to follow you." He said and I simply glared at him.

"Why are you being so mean to me?" He asked.

I scoffed. "Don't follow me around." I warned him.

"Okay." He said and I was surprised at how easily he give in. "I will follow your bag then." He added.

"What?"

"Since I can't follow the owner, I will follow the bag." He give me a cheeky smile, that I wanted to smack him.

"You are annoying today." I pointed out.

"And you are moody, is it the time of the month?"

"Why do you think my moodiness have to do with my period? I can't be moody without you assuming I have my period?" I snapped at him and he was surprised at my sudden emotion and so was I. "Stop following me and go and do what you usually do, that is hang out with your group." And turned and walked away from him.

My guilt was consuming me after that sudden outburst of emotion with Elliot this morning. I think my moodiness has to do with yesterday and I wanted to scold myself for even showing any emotion or getting bother by any emotion. Elliot got into a fight with some jocks during lunch and the whole school was excited about what happened as everyone started buzzing about what they have seen or heard. Once the school ended. I see Aiden standing near my locker. He was wearing a button up shirt with a sweater on top and jeans with sneaker.

"Everly." He calls out as soon as he saw me.

"Hey." I said.

He moved away a little to allow me space to put my things away and grab the things I needed to take it home with me.

"Do you have any idea what movie you want to watch?" He asked.

Honestly, I have no idea what movie is available in the theatre, so I said. "Not really, you know any good one?"

He then excitedly started naming the movies to allow me to choose.

"You can pick any." I said as I shut the locker and looked at him.

"Okay." He said as he smiled at me, as we were walking and almost out of the building, someone pulled me back by my bag and I looked at the ceiling, trying to not lose my composure, but Elliot's face stood out as he was looking down at me.

"What the f^ck!" I said as I turned around to look at him and he smiled, showing me his dimple.

"Baby, you promised you are coming for my basketball practice." He said and I frowned at him. Some of his "friends" stood behind him and looked at us with both confusion and awkwardness.

"I did not and stop calling me that." I pointed out.

"She is coming with me." Elliot said to Aiden. Aiden looked at me and at him and he said to me,

"Are you playing with me?"

"No!" I said, horrified and glared at Elliot.

"Wait? What do you mean play? We are going out as friends? Didn't you agree with that?" I twisted his words, Aiden looked humiliated and I felt so bad, but I thought he and I have discuss about it.

"She is not coming with you, she is mine." Elliot pushed me behind him and stood towering over Aiden.

"You should let her speak for herself." He pointed out and looked at me.

"I want to watch a movie." I lied.

"We can watch after my practice."

"No, I have to go home early." I said.

Elliot looked between us and said, "Okay." As he pulled me along with him. "Tell coach I was not feeling well."

"No, you can't miss practice!" I said, horrified. "And I cannot ditch Aiden."

"Then let's make it easier for everyone, you two come and watch the practice and then we will go for a movie later."

"What the f^ck?" Aiden said, annoyed. "F^ck it,I am going home." He glared at us and give me a disappointing look before leaving me with the wolves.

"I am going home too." I said groaning and as soon as I took one step, he stepped in front of me and said.

"We will go home together, you can stay in the library and do your homework."

"Who are you to tell me what to do?"

He bend down to look me in the eyes and my heart thump and I tried everything to not look fluster.

"Look at your cursing with that mouth of yours." I could smell both mint and smoke from him.

I glared at him and pushed him away.

"Tell the coach what I said." He said, or literally commanded and followed me outside.

"Don't you dare skip that practice." I glared at him.

"Or else?" He asked, with an amused look in his eyes.

I smirked, "I will ask send coach the picture of you bailing out for reason that is unacceptable."

"Oh baby, look at you." He threw his head back and laugh. "I never knew you would be so mean."

"You walk back to the gym or else." I warned again.

"I will walk to the gym only if you come with me." He said.

"I am busy."

"Ain't we all?" He said. "In or out?"

"I will be in the library." I said, "I can do my homework."

He give me a very suspicious look, "Why do I have a bad feeling about it?"

"What you mean?" I asked innocently.

He just give me a coy smile and said, "Okay sure, you can stay in the library, but if you leave me and go home. There will be consequences." He warned.

"What consequences?" I asked.

"That's for me to know and for you to guess." He smirked. "Let's go to the library, I will drop you off and head to the gym." He said as he took my hand and lead me back to the building.
