The morning sun was accompanied by the cold breeze grazing over the girl on her way back home after only having two lessons, making it nearly midday.
She sighed a tiresome breath of air, running her fingers through her knotted hair to relieve the pressure building at her head.
Her hand trailed up till she reached the necklace around her neck, gripping it and being sucked into a cage of thoughts.
Upon more research, she found out the necklace accessed the spider tattoo gang's headquarters- realising Jeongmin was leading her right to them.
A bad feeling brewed inside her, wondering if he was putting her into more harm than good.
By the time she reached the front door, she had shaken off her thoughts and entered to a seemingly empty house which had been expected.
She hauled the heavy handbag up on her shoulder which ached profusely, slowly moving up the stairs where she found Chenle in his room watching TV.
"Do you just watch TV and laze around when you're not on a mission?" She voiced, dropping the bag onto the ground.
"Yep." Chenle quipped, stroking his fingers through Loki's fur.
Seowoo forcefully sighed, lethargically walking over to the bed and laying down on it with no effort to even say anything else.
He glanced at the girl who had her eyes closed, moving to brush her hair from across her face.
"Tired?"
"Very." She muttered.
He hummed, shifting so his head was leant against the headboard.
"Come here."
Seowoo lazily opened her eyes and glanced at him. He was motioning to the space next to him and wordlessly, she rolled over until she bumped into him.
Closing her eyes, she rested her head on his chest and her arm around his torso.
"Your warm." She mumbled. "Like a cuddly teddy bear."
He chuckled.
"You're such a baby." He teased although he was looking down at her fondly.
Seowoo tilted her head up, rolling her eyes at him.
"Shut up, I take it back."
He shook his head.
"You can't."
"Well I just did." She argued back.
"Have you been crying?" He asked once he flickered his eyes over her features, she groaned.
"Yeah, I was studying in the library and I couldn't comprehend anything."
"You should take more breaks baby, you're overworking yourself." His voice dropped into a murmer, habitually lightly brushing his fingers through her hair.
"I wish." She replied but pursed her lips up at him.
"Are you seriously too lazy to lift your head and kiss me properly?" He deadpanned at her and she nodded.
"Yeah, and what you gonna do about it?"
"Not kiss you." He retorted and her face contorted into a glare to which he laughed at and dipped his down anyway.
He barely pecked her lips, pulling away within a split second and Seowoo let out a sigh of frustration.
"I'm just joking." He spoke as she moved away from him and placed her head on the pillow instead.
"I'm going sleep." She stated, rubbing her eyes and he shifted his weight on his forearm- leaning over and capturing her lips in an actual kiss.

His soft black hair brushed against her temple as his hand gently rested on her jaw.
Her hand snaked to the back of his neck, pushing him towards her more with more of an urge to deepen the kiss- curling her fingers through his hair. Chenle's gentle kisses became more frequently, synced directly with her lips rejoining to his.
She could feel the warmth spread through her body, heart pounding against her ribcage and the fluttering in her stomach appeared the more they reconnected with increased want.
Every sound was drowned out except from their breaths hitting against each others and the low sound of the TV droning on in the background.

Nerve ridden and slightly terrified of what was to come, Seowoo exited the car alongside Heejin, Jeno and Chenle.
Jeno nodded over to Jaemin in the car who was the backup in case something bad happened.
Seowoo slid her arm through Chenle's, feeling anxious as they entered the building.
It was the same address she saw on one of the papers, dimly lit building as the entered.
Chenle offered her a small smile which she returned as they followed Jeno and Heejin through the hallways.
Room 017, she recognised it as the room indicated on the paper- halting at it before her eyes darted down the hallway.
"This must be it..." She trailed off, knowing behind the doors was where the rivals gathered.
She eyed the keypad, biting her lip as she pressed in the passcode and watched as the door clicked, unlocking it.
Jeno stopped her, taking the initiative to actually open the door quietly- stepping inside followed by Chenle.
They all entered to see an empty large room, there were papers all across the room with pictures or victims and a large spider statue by the window.
"There's no one here." She muttered disappointed but nevertheless, they all began to look around.
"The necklace must open something here." Heejin spoke, narrowing her eyes at the display of guns on the wall.
"Hey, look here." Chenle spoke, gaining everyone's attention.
Seowoo joined his side, glancing at the wall he was looking at.
"What is it?"
"It's a secret door, you can tell by the outline." He stated and Jeno nodded in agreement.
"They must be in there right...the people who are behind this whole thing?"
"I guess there's only one way to find out." Seowoo breathed out, removing the necklace from her neck.
Chenle guided her hand to the spider icon on the wall where it scanned the angel pendant for access.
Seowoo paused before she opened the door, closing her eyes and inhaling deeply.
This is for you Jeongmin, I will avenge you with everything it takes.
A hand rubbed her back concerned and she sent a forced smile to assure the boy she was fine.
Finally, she pushed open the door with a stern fierce expression, followed by the three of them.
Seven heads turned towards the direction of the door immediately in alarm, Seowoo's eyes landing on the familiar faces.
Kun the postman, Hendery the boy who stabbed Chenle, Xiaojun from the fair.
Additionally, she recognised the other four who broke into her house and stole all the money from under Jeongmin's bed.

She felt her jaw clench as she began to stride over to the boys that had, now with shocked expressions, stood up.
"Lucas, did you end up exporting the drugs?" A voice drawled out, it registered immediately as familiar to Seowoo who halted in her stride- turning to the side to see the figure walk into sight from another door.
She wasn't expecting the sight in front of her, mind falling blank with her lips parting and eyes inching wide in shock. Her heart immediately sinking, wondering if it was all some sick joke or a nightmare.
"Mum?"
The woman's eyes flickered up, stopping on her daughter in the middle of the room. She refrained from acting on her shock, instead pressing her lips together and stopping.
"Seowoo," she began as if she was at a loss for words.
The girl's expression turned hard, eyebrows furrowing as conflict brewed up inside her.
"What the fuck?" She spat out immediately, shaking her head in disbelief.
"Seowoo-"
"No, no. Tell me this isn't what I think it is." Seowoo demanded, a burdensome weight begining to press on her chest causing her to take in shallower breaths, eyes stuck on her Mother.
Her Mum's eyes drew over to the figure that had also entered.
"What is she doing here?"
Seowoo looked over at her Father that unconcerned, walked into the room with a cigarette between his lips.
At a loss for words, Seowoo let out a sharp breath of air. Anger building up inside her, directing her attention back at her Mother whilst clenching her fists so tight pain coursed through her.
"Answer me." Seowoo demanded, holding back the anger fuelled tears. "Tell me you weren't behind it all."
By this point Seowoo was shaking, the presence of Chenle's warmth behind her and his hand on her shoulder resulted in her pulling away from him and walking closer to her Mum.
Her Mother said nothing, watching as her daughter angrily approached.
"Tell me you didn't fucking kill him!" She screamed out with the copious amount of grief, betrayal and anger causing tears to spring.
"We had to-"
"You what?" Seowoo uttered out in disbelief, unable to comprehend anything.
"You had to. You had to kill your Son? This must be some sick joke, tell me you're joking." Seowoo demanded, feeling her gut churn and pain erupt once again as if she was watching him die again.
"He refused to join us, he knew too much."
There was a silence after her words as Seowoo clenched her jaw, tongue pressing into her back teeth to contain her anger.
Her chest rose and fell faster, unable to look her Mum in the eyes as she felt like a whole different person. Seowoo turned around, the sheer amount of anger that was building up inside her made her feel dizzy.
Overwhelmed and betrayed, she spun around again with her hand drawing towards her Mother in a motion to slap her but a hand clasped over her wrist.
Her Father stood there with a hardened gaze.
"What do you think you're doing to your Mother?"
Seowoo glared up at him through her teary blurred vision and spat out through her gritted teeth.
"Get the fuck off me you rapist."
Her statement caused some gasps and bewildered looks but the girl shoved him away.
"And she's not my Mum, my Mum wouldn't... wouldn't kill her own son. She wouldn't kill Jeongmin. I don't know y-you, you aren't..." Seowoo couldn't even breathe.
"We had to do what we had to, it was hard for us to watch too-"
Seowoo's head snapped up, tears running down her cheeks uncontrollably.
"Watch? You were there?" She questioned as if her parents were deranged.
"...we were in the car." Her mother said.
Seowoo exhaled a scoff of disbelief, shaking her head over and over again, stepping away to only bump into Chenle.
"You're disgusting, you disgust me." She spat out, harshly wiping her cheek with the back of her hand.
"We thought framing Jeongmin by placing money under his bed along with the hit list would work but I guess we were wrong." Her Dad spoke.
"What...that was you guys all along? Wh-why would you do this? Why!"
"You don't understand Seowoo, we were ordered to."
"No you're right, I don't fucking understand."
"Your brother didn't want to join us, so we were ordered to get rid of him or your Father and I would be murdered."
"Yeah, well I rather have Jeongmin here than you two." Seowoo interjected furiously with venom on the tip of her tongue.
Chenle walked over to Seowoo, placing a hand on her upper arm.
"Come on, let's go." He murmured, knowing it was too much for her to handle.
Seowoo didn't budge, staring at her parents.
"I should kill you guys, exactly how you killed him. Only difference, he was innocent and you guys...well you guys are fucking psychopaths."
"We're your parents Seowoo, don't talk to us like that."
"Parents?" Seowoo laughed bitterly. "Sorry, my parents are dead to me, I don't know you guys."
"You don't mean that." Her Mother spoke.
"Really? Because I think I do."
"Don't do this Seowoo, you can join us and-"
"Are you hearing yourself right now! What, are you going to kill me if I say no?"
There was a pause after her words as no one spoke, causing Seowoo to nod.
"I see. You didn't have kids to love them, you just wanted them to join in with whatever you're doing."
"You can still join us Seowoo, I'm sure the boss and the others will enjoy having someone new around here."
"You really have some nerve." Seowoo muttered.
The sound of the door clicking open brought everyone's attention toward it as a tall broad figure entered through the door with a smirk.
"Hello Son, nice to see you here. Oh you too Seowoo, it's been a long time since we last met."
Wow
Ngl all of you guessed it was her parents 💀

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
