Baby I know
I can make it better
I can hold you tighter
When Chenle walked back into his room after having a shower, rubbing the towel over his wet hair to dry it, he glanced at the girl snuggled up in his bed with his white fluffy dog curled up next to her.
A smile spread on his lips at the sight, heart warming yet he couldn't help but feel guilty and sympathy for the girl.
He knew how much she was against taking a life herself and he worried it was too much for her to handle.
Walking over as quietly as possible, he leant over the bed with one hand on the headboard to stop him falling onto her, he pulled the duvet up over her.
She stirred in her sleep, mumbling something under her breath and Chenle froze in case she woke up.
Though to his satisfaction, she didn't.
He let out a breath of air and switched off the bedside lamp and walked over to the sofas.
Seowoo had shown him everything she had found in the safe, sending it to him and he sat on the leather sofa- skimming over the details.
He sighed, throwing his head back to rest on the headrest.
"So he really was an assassin." He muttered, reading over the letters Seowoo's Mother sent concerning what she had found.
Chenle ran his fingers through his damp black hair whilst running his tongue over the silver lip ring deep in thought.
He had seen the footage of the infirmary nurses death by his father's bodyguard but he wondered why her name was on Jeongmin's list.
The sounds of the bedsheets crinkling as Seowoo moved in them went unheard to him but his ears picked up on the sound of quiet whimpering and mutters.
His head snapped up, eyes falling on the bed where her figure layed dimly lit.
Sensing her peak of emotions, Loki nuzzled into her just as Chenle reached the bed- eyes stuck on her as she thankfully slipped into a calming sleep.
Chenle watched her for a moment before changing into a t-shirt instead of his sweatshirt- carefully climbing into the bed on the right side as Loki watched him.

He smiled at the dog, petting him before readjusting the duvet over the girl and laying his head down on the pillow, closing his eyes.

"Why did you do that?" The voice whispered out in the cold air, darkness surrounding her as she stood in the middle of the road.
"W-what?" She managed out, hugging her arms close to her as if it was a protection against the unknown. "Who is that?"
She gained no reply, instead only the wind whistled rapidly blowing through her hair and causing her to squint at the darkness.
"Why did you do that Seowoo?"
"D-do what?" She whipped her head around, unsure of where the voice was coming from but she could hear the heavy footsteps getting louder.
Then she saw it, the staggering male limping towards her with a gushing gun wound on the side of his head. Eye bulging from its socket and his face greyed out and dirty.
Blood coated his figure, staring at her as he staggered over as if he was a zombie.
"Why did you kill me Seowoo?"
Seowoo's eyes widened as she instinctively took steps back from Mr Ryu who had gained closure on her.
"Why did you kill me? Why did you kill me? Why did you kill me?" He repeated like a broken records.
"I..." She trailed off in horror, gut twisting at the sight. "I'm sorry...I didn't-"
"You didn't what Seowoo? Do you not see what you've done...you've killed me exactly how your brother was killed." He spat out.
"No..."
"You're just like his murderers."
Seowoo frantically shook her head, walking backwards but tripping over her feet and collapsing onto the ground as Mr Ryu laughed.
"You killed me Seowoo- you monster!" He screamed out laughing manically and tears sprung to her eyes.
"Please, stop."
"Stop? But why...are you not satisfied with killing me? Do you want to kill more?"
"N-no." She shook her head, clutching her hands to her chest as Mr Ryu disappeared.
Everything was silent, leaving Seowoo on edge until everything around her changed and she was situated on the familiar looking cliff.

Her breath hitched as she snapped her head to the side expecting to see her brother in the middle of the road with several guns aimed at him.
But it was Chenle.
"Chenle," she breathed out wide eyed as he turned to look at her.
"Why did you do this to me?" He choked out, blood seeping out of him. "Why did you kill me Seowoo?"
"No, no I didn't- Chenle-"
"Do you see what you've done? You've killed everyone around you."
Seowoo's eyes flickered around, all of her friends and families bodies littered the ground and in horror she scrambled up.
"Chenle," she cried out, walking over to him.
"It's all your fault Seowoo, you killed everyone."
"No! No, Chenle please- I didn't...I promise I didn't-"
Chenle was looking her dead in the eye, lifting the gun in his hand to his temple and she immediately gasped.
"Wait- no Chenle-" she hurried out, rushing over to him. "Please stop, stop no. No don't, Chenle!"
"It's all your fault Seowoo." He uttered out robotically as the sound of the gunshot rang through the air.
The large intake of oxygen filled her lungs as her eyes snapped open, sweat sheened over her skin and tears staining her cheeks.
Seowoo was in a panic, sitting up in the bed and scrambling back with hyperventilated pants.
Hearing this Chenle woke up, switching on the bedside lamp and looking over to see the girl pressed against the headboard in a panic.
"No-" she cried out, gaining panic to strike up on him too as he straightened up and leaned over to her.
His hand grasped her shoulder, the other one on her flushed teary cheek.
"It's okay, it was just a nightmare." He rushed out. "It wasn't real."
His voice was merely a drowned out sound to her as she panted to try fill up her lungs with oxygen, body shaking and trembling.
With wide eyes she turned to Chenle, gripping the white material of his t-shirt.
"I didn't- I didn't, he...it wasn't my fault, I didn't mean to hurt everyone too." She rushed out so fast he almost didn't catch onto her words.
Chenle nodded, grabbing her face in both of his hands.
"It wasn't real, it was just a dream." He assured her despite the lump growing in his throat.
Seowoo was so disoriented and caught off guard by the nightmare she couldn't help but break down into tears- shaky breaths turning into heart wrenching cries.
"Chenle," she whimpered, arms snaking around his torso and burying her head in his chest as he reciprocated the embrace with his arms around her back.
"I'm here, I'm right here." He spoke lowly as her body shook in his embrace, his hand running down her head and the length of her back comfortingly.

The bright yellowish orange rays of sun infiltrated in through the gaps of the curtains, streaming into the room and directly onto the two.
Chenle was laying on his back, chin resting on the crown of Seowoo's head as she cuddled into the boy.
Her cheek against his beating chest, arm resting on his abdomen.
She had woken up by the bright lights, blinking a few times to adjust her vision and soon after realised his fingers were running through her hair yet he hadn't realised she was awake.
Laying still, able to hear his heartbeat clearly provided comfort as she reached out and grabbed his hand that was by his side.
"Did I wake you?" His voice was deeper than usual, raspy and coaxed with tiredness.
She shook her head, leaning away slightly to look up at him.
"Good morning." She said softly as his fingers brushed her hair behind her ear.
"Morning." He murmured, eyes grazing over her features that were lit up by the sun.
Seowoo dropped her head back onto his chest, pulling the duvet up to her chin for warmth as she cuddled into him more.
"Let's stay like this for longer."
Chenwoo is so cute omfg
