Chenle was crouched down in front of Seowoo, one hand gently on her shoulder with his expression softened into immense worry.
"Angel," he began, earning no response from the girl who's eyes glassed over- clearly shaken up and hurt as she stared at the immobile body with blood pooling at her feet from his skull.
She watched helplessly as 7 guns fired at him mercilessly, monsters as they murdered him in cold blood.
"Seowoo..." Chenle trailed off, gulping. He reached out his other hand, cupping her bloodied cheek and brushing away the glass that had settled on top of her skin.
He carefully turned her head up to face him, her emotionless brown eyes staring into his.
"Baby, you're hurt. Let-" his gentle soft tone was cut off by her.
"I killed him." She uttered out as if the situation has passed in one ear and out the other.
Chenle wasn't sure of what to say, her cheek ice cold against his hand and blood stained her skin along with the hand mark bruised onto her neck.
The boy move in front of her eyeline as soon as she turned her head to look at Mr Ryu, Chenle blocking the sight of the dead body and instead he gave her a small smile.
"Come on, let me get you cleaned up." He murmured, coaxing her with his voice as his arm slid behind her back and the other hand on the side of her torso- helping her up.
She was basically limp in his hold, completely in a state of shock and her body trembled uncontrollably.
As soon as she was stood up, she fell into his chest forhead pressed against his collarbone as she felt her gut churn- squeezing her eyes shut.
Chenle effortlessly picked the girl up as she was in no state to walk, legs hooking around his waist and arms instinctively wrapping around his neck.
Her head dropped into the crook of his neck, eyes drooping with tiredness seeping through her.
"I'm sorry I wasn't here." He apologised, feeling guilty and angry at himself.

"Do you think he hates me?" Her voice was a mere whisper against the warmth of his neck as he carried her up the steps.
"Who?"
"Jeongmin."
There was a pause as Chenle reached the top step, slightly surprised by her question.
"No, he doesn't hate you Angel."
Chenle gently kicked the door to her bathroom open, walking over and placing her down on the edge of the counter, remembering she had kept the first aid kit in her wardrobe.
He hurriedly walked into her room whilst dialing Jeno's number.
"Seowoo's house, hurry with a bag." He spoke lowly, cutting the line and grabbing the first aid kit.
When he entered the bathroom, Seowoo was still sitting on the counter with her palms gripping the edge and eyes cast on the ground, zoned out.
He sighed out in worry, unsure of what to say to her as he stood between her legs to take a look at her nose.
His hand gripped her chin, turning her head and lightly dabbing the pad of his finger over her nose in case she had broken it.
Thankfully, she hadn't.
As he was cleaning the blood from her skin, his eyes kept flickering over to her and he wondered what she was thinking.
"You're not staying here, you can stay with us, okay?" He spoke and she wordlessly nodded, not wanting to stay in the house any longer as it was.
Chenle heard the front door opening along with voices.
"Chenle?" Jeno's voice called from downstairs and Chenle glanced at Seowoo before walking to the hallway.
"Is that..." Jeno trailed off and Chenle nodded with pursed lips.
Heejin began to walk up the stairs, already knowing things were in bad shape.
"Where is she?" Heejin asked as Chenle lead her to Seowoo's bathroom where she was wordlessly sat on the counter.
"Hey gorg," Heejin began, walking into the bathroom and realising the scrapes and blood over Seowoo and turning around to Chenle with a grimace.
"I'll help her shower."

"But she's-"
"She'll be okay Chenle, I'm with her." Heejin said reassuringly and the boy couldn't even conceal his worry.
He placed his hand over Seowoo's, thumb lightly brushing over her bruised knuckle but she didn't even flinch.
"Do you want me to pack some clothes for you?"
Seowoo nodded and paused.
"...am I a bad person?"
His hand cupped over her cheek, placing his forehead against hers as she subconsciously clenched her fingers around the material of his sweater.
"No, you're the farthest from it Angel." He spoke lowly as felt him press his lips against her forehead before pulling away and gazing into her eyes.
"We've got each other." He said and she nodded, wanting to smile but instead a frown took up on her lips.
Heejin had entered the bathroom with some new clothes, nodding out of the door and he looked back at the girl.
"Me and the boys will clean up downstairs, I'll be back okay?"
"Okay." She whispered out, looking up at him as he began to turn around to leave as Heejin was turned around to run the shower.
But he turned back around to face Seowoo, tilting his head down and placing a short lived yet delicate kiss on her lips before he left.

"I didn't expect her to kill someone." Renjun muttered lowly, cleaning the glass up as Donghyuck sighed.
"What's going to happen now...you know she won't be able to handle it." He directed towards Chenle who ran his fingers through his hair stressfully.
"I thought he died already, fucking bastard. What do they want with her?" He cursed as he rolled the bloodied rug up.
"Where are her parents?" Jeno asked angrily. "She's not safe here-"
"She's living with us." Chenle stated, standing up and walking out of the room and up the steps.
He could hear the shower still running when he entered her bedroom- grabbing a suitcase from her wardrobe and begining to pull things out of it and into the case.
He reached her desk, unplugging her laptop and phone but eyes stopping on the map layed out on her wall with a bucket list pinned on it.
Chenle stopped, eyes trailing over them as he gently pried it from the wall and rolled the map up along with the list to slot into the suitcase, making a mental note to actually complete it with her.
He ran his eyes over her room, grabbing the photographed frames of the people closest to her and once most of her things were in the case, he heard the shower stop running.
Chenle pulled the suitcase from the bed and swung her school bag over his shoulder as he brought them both down the steps to see Jeno, Donghyuck and Renjun finish up cleaning.
"That was the fastest I've ever cleaned up blood." Renjun breathed out, wiping the sweat from his forehead.
"I'll take them to the car." Donghyuck motioned to the stuff and Chenle nodded before jogging back upstairs just in time to see Heejin and Seowoo exit the bathroom.
Heejin rubbed Seowoo's shoulder as she left the room and the girl sat on the bed.
"I'm tired." Seowoo said, drained of all her energy and Chenle grabbed the shoes he didn't pack.
He knelt down in front of her as she watched him in partial confusion.
"You can sleep in the car, are you hungry?" He asked looking up and she shook her head- her wet hair taking shape of loose waves.
"Can I sleep in your bed, I don't want to be alone."
"Of course you can, I'll even let you cuddle Loki."
"Really?" She asked sitting up straighter and he nodded.
"He's good at helping people sleep."
He finishes tying her laces, holding out his hand.
"Come on Angel, let's go home."
