"Don't worry, I don't snore."
Those words were the biggest lie that Seowoo had been told as she slept on the mattress situated on the floor of Jisung's room.
It was as if the room was rattling, deep as it vibrated through his body and Seowoo could only stare up at the ceiling as her eyes stung from still being awake.
Irritated, she sat up and gazed into the darkness at the boy laying in his bed.
"Jisung." She hissed quietly yet it was drowned out by his everlasting snores.
It was unbelievable, the capacity of his volume almost deafening.
"Jisung!" She whispered shouted again yet no avail.
Seowoo huffed, pushing herself off the mattress and hissing when she placed her foot down.
Biting her lip in pain as she limped over to the bed.
"Jisung, Jisung!" She exclaimed, shaking him.
His snoring stopped, scrunching his nose up as he shifted in bed and Seowoo held in a breath and slowly let it out, finally able to get to sleep.
Just as she was walking back to her 'bed', his rumbling of snores reappeared and the girl gritted her teeth in anger.
"I'm so close to suffocating you." She muttered violently under her breath.
Taking a deep breath to calm herself down, she closed her eyes as the sound only intensified and the girl was close to ripping her hair out or sewing Jisung's lips shut.
Irked, Seowoo strode over to him- grabbing the pillow from under his head and smacking him with it on the chest.
"Mm...make me a sandwich Jaemin." Jisung mumbled almost incoherently. Seowoo gawked down at him in shock.
"Jisung, I swear I'll deck you in the face if you don't get up."
"Huh...oh shut up." He muttered as he realised it was Seowoo, grabbing his covers up to shield his head.

"You snore so loud, can you be quiet!"
"No."
"Please, I can't sleep."
"Then go somewhere else." He mumbled, grabbing the pillow from her and laying his head on it.
Seowoo ran her tongue over her teeth in annoyance as she fought the urge to lash out in the sleep deprivation driven anger.
The now crestfallen girl, slumped her shoulders and began to exit the room- the bright fluorescent lights from the hallway beamed at her, making Seowoo squint her eyes.
Blinking rapidly trying to regain her vision as she closed Jisung's door behind her, she listened out for signs anyone was awake yet there was none.
Sighing, she stepped out into the modernised and wealthy living room- not a soul around.
She sat down on the crisp white sofa- turning on the side lamp and grabbing her phone out her pocket.
Ayo
I know you're awake cuz it's only 3am
Yeah that and Jisung is snoring
He snores?? Awwww so cuteeee
Ew
Calm down
Anywayyyssssss
Update, I was watching some crime shows as I do every night
I was thinking, what if he wasn't apart of a gang because there's no gang with a blue moon symbol
What would he be apart of?
Some organisation
Well I mean looking at the list of names and money...a possible hitman?
Oh
...wait what if he was
But it doesn't make sense, his work is literally to solve cases
Maybe that's his cover up
No one would suspect him if he's in the system
He must have left other clues
I'm going back home tomorrow to check
Yeah after school because we have an exam tomorrow remember
Plus the guys have missed you hanging with us after school
Especially a certain someone
I know I'm sorry I've been caught up with this shit and shut up

Laying on his large expensive bed, an arm behind his head as his eyes trained on the TV hung on his wall opposite, was Chenle.
Watching the basketball match playing out in front of him as the fan above blasted cool air down on him.
He was dressed in a navy blue t-shirt and grey sweatpants- hair messy as he had been taking his fingers through it, at ease in the confines of his room.
A sudden small knock on his door made his reflexes kick in, eyes immediately zeroing in on it with a narrowed gaze.
"What?" He spoke loud enough for the intruder to hear.
The door creaked open ajar, a hesitant head peeking around it.
His eyes fell on the girl who had a half hearted awkward smile on her lips, hair pulled up out of her face into a high ponytail with pieces framing her face and the glasses she only wore sometimes too.
Confusion flashed through him as he turned his head to the side and glanced at the clock which displayed
"What?" He asked, quick glancing back to the TV incase he missed something big.
"Um," she began, her eyes drifting over his highly big and expensive looking room which had the view of the city from his 8 foot long window.
The window was near to the side of his room which had two sofa's and a coffee table in the middle- another TV in that section with two steps leading from his bed area down to the 'living room' area.
"Wow, nice room." She spoke mindlessly, before her sight landed on the pure white dog laying on the other side of Chenle's bed, one closest to the door.
Her eyes widened, face lighting up as she saw the cutest dog she had ever seen.
"Oh my god." She gushed out as if she was already in love with it.
His eyes fell from her to his Dog laying on his bed before he sighed heavily.
"What do you want?" He asked, eyeing Seowoo as she looked as if she wanted desperately to get close to the dog yet kept her respect when she stayed by the door.
"Oh yeah, Jisung was snoring and I wanted to beat him up because I couldn't sleep so I went to the living room but it was cold and I could hear stuff outside- probably the wind but I felt scared because what if they're coming back to kill me so- can I pet your dog?"
She blurted out while not looking away from the fluffy white dog.
Chenle's face was blank before rolling his eyes, sighing in irritation.
"Whatever, just close the door before he runs out again."

A Prose of Years
For decades, spiritualist Evert Kallstrom and his team have joined in humanity’s millennia-long fight against the beasts. Wielding their weapons and their ki, they fought and killed these great threats to civilization. And yet, despite their efforts, humanity was losing traction in the war. In the last fifty years alone, more cities had been overrun than in all of known history. While most thought the great beasts natural, a few knew the terrible truth. They were the product of a dark lord, who desired neither fame nor wealth nor power. Instead, his sole purpose was the genocide of humanity. While their peers dithered, a small faction of the strongest mankind had to offer—including Evert Kallstrom and his team—set out towards the Deadlands to find and confront this dark lord. After weeks of travel, twenty-one spiritualists found themselves approaching an ancient fortress wherein rested a being known only as the Eastern Guardian. All they found was death. But death has other plans for Evert. Evert bolts awake in his 16 year old body near his hometown, decades in the past. He is confused, poor and weak. But with grit, sweat, and years of experience, he won't let the future repeat itself. That level of strength won't be enough by itself (it wasn’t last time) and victory is hardly assured (he’ll need to reach farther and higher than he ever did), but Evert refuses to squander a second chance. [Other tags: First Person POV, Hard Magic, Faulty Memory] Volume 1 is complete and has been fully released. My current intention is not to write any sequel volumes. That said, I have also released appendices (SPOILERS) that cover the worldbuilding and future story-that-never-was. Comments suggesting fixes for grammar, misspellings, etc. appreciated. Note: If you came here from Candlelit Lives, these stories have nothing in common.
