《Want you Back》Chapter 6

When she looked up at me like that, with that innocence in her eyes, I felt complete and when she kissed me, I was shocked. I never thought she would be the first to kiss me until I won her back but, I guess she was my girlfriend for tonight. It was my idea and my words, not hers.
"You don't need to suddenly go to sleep just because you kissed me." I sighed, knowing that she was trying to go to sleep, in order to avoid the confrontation and the whole process of me teasing her. "I don't? Are you telling me that you weren't planning on using that against me?" she looked up at me while squinting her eyes and that adorable look of suspicion on her face.
"I don't know. The only time I could really use it against you is when I want you to kiss me but you won't." I explained, making her pout and whine like a little kid. "The betrayal." she gasped and dramatically placed the back of her hand on her forehead, sighing exaggeratedly.
"You gotta do what you gotta do." I chuckled, and looked down at her to see her looking at me. She quickly realized that I caught her looking and she looked away. After a few moments, she looked at me and caught me looking at her in admiration and like I was in love. Because I was in love with her.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" she asked teasingly.
"Like what?" I asked as I raised my eyebrows in confusion and curiosity.
"Like you're in love." she said in a 'duh' tone. Well, I was looking at her like I was in love because I was in love. "What's so wrong with me looking at you the same way that you kissed me?" I said flirtatiously, as I flipped us, so I was hovering over her, trapping her between me and the bed, having her lay under me. "Are you saying I kissed you like I was in love?" she arched an eyebrow at me as she looked me straight in the eyes. "That's exactly what I'm saying." I said as I began leaning in, inching our lips closer by each tick of a clock. My lips were a millimeter away from hers when she decided to turn her head, and look out of the window, avoiding our lips from touching. I sighed in frustration as I groaned, "Are you seriously going to avoid kissing me?" I said as my face followed hers, while I tried desperately to kiss her.

"I am doing no such thing." she giggled and blushed as she continued to avoid my kiss, frustrating me more by the second. I finally sighed in frustration and I got up, straddling her and held her hands above her head, my one hand holding her both as my other hand grabbed her face while I crashed my lips into hers. This kiss was different than any other tonight. It was... heated. We continued kissing, our lips moving in sync. I once again hovered over her instead of straddling her and eventually let go of her hands, letting them rest beside us or occasionally letting wrap her arms around me neck, pulling me closer if that was even possible. We lied there kissing for what felt like forever, until she pulled away, both of us taking fast and short breaths, gasping for her. I began kissing her jawline, inching further down to her neck, by her earlobe, down to her collarbone, a weak spot of hers. I left a trail of kisses along her neck along with the few hickeys I was leaving there. As this was happening, reality probably hit her and she threw me off of herself. "Y-you can't be leaving hickeys and then leave me with the trouble of having to cover it up." she huffed, still breathing heavily and fast.
"You're more than welcome to leave some on me. I would proudly wear them." I smirked as I once again, leaned over her, holding her arms by her head.
"I have no shame in wearing the hickeys you gave me, I never once covered them up while we were together, however, my friends will fry me till they get satisfied with the answers that I don't want to give to them. That's the one thing, no hickies or marks." she huffed.
"Deal." I nodded with assurity.
"Good with me." she sighed as she planted a short kiss on my lips, and immediately pulled away, blushing. I swear I forgot for a second that this was just for tonight, and that tomorrow, she'd go back to hating me.

"Ryder, how the fuck am I supposed to go to back to hating you tomorrow?" she sighed as she lied down, with me next to her, cuddling her. "You will remember how I broke your heart. How much I hurt you. And how the heated kiss a second ago, was pure lust." I mumbled as the words coming out of my mouth stung my chest. "Was it pure lust?" she whispered.
"No, but you don't know that." I sighed as I planted a soft kiss on her bare shoulder.
"I don't?" she questioned innocently.
"No, you don't." I breathed as she turned to face me.
"You make this so much harder than it has to be." she groaned as she cupped my face as gave an aggressive kiss which including her biting my bottom lip.
"You've either gotten feisty, or you're taking your anger out on me by kissing me very aggressively and biting my lip." I said as I pulled away from her.
"I'm allowed to be angry and take it out on you since the anger I hold, is caused by you." she said, her eyes turning a darker shade of the hazel brown that they were, how they did when she was either mad, sad, or hurt. "Very true." I sighed in defeat and kissed her for a few moments.
Not a heated or aggressive one, but a soft and gentle one. I really didn't want tonight to end, ever. Because the second I leave this house, the second everything goes back to the way that it was, that will be the second that Mia will go back to hating me. She'll find it in herself to hate me, even if it's partly an act, I know she will. She will do exactly what I asked her to.
She will think about how I broke her heart, how much I hurt her but I also know, that she won't think about how that moment was lust because it wasn't. It was love too.
"I really don't want tonight to end Ryder, ever." she said, her voice just above a whisper.
"I don't ever want it to end either." I sighed admittingly, as my hand slipped under the back of her shirt while I lazily drew patterns on her lower back. It was purely out of habit. I would always draw patterns on her back the nights she wouldn't sleep and she would always gently scratch and draw shapes across mine. Only, mine involved her straddling me while I lied on my stomach with my shirt off and her scratching my back and drawing patterns all over it.
I hated what I did to her and I hated myself for doing it even more.
The past is over with and the damage has already been done.
The most I can do now, is fix things and make them better.
"I love you Mia." I whispered.
"I love you too Ryder." she mumbled, before dozing off into her dreams.
