The party
"COME ONE, COME ALL, YOU DIRTY SWINES," Hawk yelled, "STEP RIGHT UP AND FEAST YOUR EYES, IT'S THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR, THE UNVEILING CERMONY OF THE NEW BOAR HAT TAVERN.
"Just do it all ready," Ban, (Y/N) and Meliodas said.
"YOU'RE THE ONLY ONES WHO SHOWED UP?" Hawk questioned "I THOUGHT THAT ALL EIGHT OF YOU WERE FINALLY BACK TOGETHER? WHERE ARE THE REST OF YOU?"
"they're got more important things to do," Meliodas said.
"And I here because I didn't even know that a demon destroyed the tavern," (Y/N) said seeing a giant white sheet covering the new tavern, unable for him to see it.
"AND WHAT AM I BACON GREASE?" Hawk yelled.
"Alright let's take a look Ban," Meliodas said grabbing the sheet.
"OK cap'n," Ban said grabbing hold of the sheet.
"THAT'S MY JOB," Hawk yelled as the two pulled the sheet revealing the new tavern, "YOU MISERABLE SWINES, I HOPE YOU GET TRAMPLED TO DEATH BY A BOAR."
"Woah there, buddy," Meliodas said.
"C'mon, don't get upset, master... at tonight's feast, ill feed you some of the best scraps," Ban said.
"Ban your forgiven," Hawk cried.
"Is it really not that big of a deal Hawk," (Y/N) said.
"YOU ARE NOT FORGIVEN, (Y/N),"
"So, I guess that leaves..." Meliodas said as Ban and Meliodas ran into the boar hat running past the bar to a room.
"This room is mine," Ban said.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is clearly mine," Meliodas said, "I got here first."
"Oh, Cap'n, just look at our feet," Ban said, as Meliodas looked at the floor to see Ban's foot ahead of him, "mine was in first."
"ahmm," (Y/N) said from behind the two, "I think that you will find that it is mine,"
"You aren't even in the room," Ban said only for (Y/N) to point to the corner of the room, only for a blue box to be in the corner.
"CHEATER," the two yelled.
"The best use of time travel," (Y/N) said smugly, before coughing.
"You, okay?" Meliodas asked with concern.
"Yep, got a cold I guess, been in the heat for too long then to a cold place hasn't done well for me," (Y/N) said calmly "I better have a lie down," ss he got to the bed laying on it, "my room now,"
"That guy," Ban said angerly.
"Calm down," Meliodas said as Ban left leaving the two alone.
"You want to ask me don't you captain?" (Y/N) said.
"That red hair form, it is the same as the guy I face long ago," Meliodas said "are you related to that guy?"
"Nope,"
"Then how..."
"Because he was me,"
Meliodas looked shocked before returning to his neutral state, "but he didn't look like you,"
"I know,"
"So why don't you look like him? Are you, his reincarnation?"
"That is a question that will be answered soon," (Y/N) said as he fell asleep.
Meliodas looked at the sleeping sins once before leaving the room.

A bit later (Y/N) woke up hearing a knock at the door.
"(Y/N) we are having the party now are you going to join us?" the voice of Elizabeth said.
"On my way," (Y/N) said getting out of bed.
As (Y/N) left opened the door to the second floor he could see all the sins apart from Merlin, Elaine, and Elizabeth.
"The shouts of our fellow countrymen dancing on the wind." Escanor said, as (Y/N) saw this was one of his poems while the others looked to be ignoring him, "How it excites, fires up our very souls. The red of blood, mixed with tears summons forth the heart of justice. Beneath our bonds of justice and love, we all gather with crossed swords. That is what makes us the eight deadly sins." only now Escanor saw that no-one was listening "sigh... I guess no one's listening to my poem."
"I was," (Y/N) said patting the lion sin on the back, "it was a very good one as well."
"You mean it (Y/N)?"
"of course,"
Escanor then looked around, "captain... I don't see Merlin anywhere... is she on her way?"
"she's probably just running late," Meliodas said, "neck deep is some weirdo experiment of hers,"
"I sure hope that's all it is," Escanor said, "regardless, I'm a bit worried about her... Do you mind if I go and check on her?"
Only for Merlin to appear in a chair "Sorry for running a bit late," She said, "let me guess, you probably thought I was neck deep in some weird experiment of some kind? Well, I can't say you were wrong."
"Lady Merlin I had no idea you were here," Elizabeth said, "I'll go fetch you something to drink right away."
"Thank you, princess Elizabeth," Merlin said.
"Well then, shall we all have another toast?" Escanor asked.
"HAHAHA, I can't believe all eight of us are actually here," Ban said clearly drunk.
"it's almost if we've gone back in time ten years, hasn't it king," Gowther said.
"Oh...? I Dunno... I feel like things are a bit different," King said, "this time we have the real Gowther as our companions."
"that's right," Diane said, "and on top of that," Diane went and grabbed both Elizabeth and Elaine with her giant hand, "we've got even more companions than we had back then."
"DAMNIT, DIANE, GIVE HER BACK," Ban yelled.
"Guess it's about time," Meliodas said getting up from his chair, "ahem... once more... to the reunion of the eight deadly sins,"
"CHEERS," Everyone yelled.
"Hey Gowther," Diane said, "there has been something that's been on my mind for a while,"
"Ah, me too," King said.
"The Gowther that created you... how did he bring the holy war to an end 3000 years ago?"
Gowther stared at Diane for a moment,
"Gowther... brought the holy war to an end?" Both Meliodas and Merlin asked.
"that's the first I have ever heard of it..." Merlin added.
"I'm not exactly clear on the details," Escanor said, "but supposedly the goddess race sacrificed themselves to seal the demon clan and end the holy war, right? At least according to legend."

"Do you think that it was him that created the coffin of eternal darkness?" Meliodas asked Merlin.
"Absolutely not... that was created by the famous giant craftsman Dabuzu," Merlin responded.
"I'm sorry," Gowther said, "but I can't tell you that yet, whether it's just I don't know if I'm allowed to... or if you'd even accept what I have to say."
"Eh... Ahh... no, it's me that's sorry," Diane said, "I didn't mean to put you in a tight spot, if you ever feel like telling me, then you can tell me then, okay."
"Okay," Ban said, "well can you at least tell us where you picked up crossdressing fetish of yours, right, Gowther?"
"Sure, I can answer that," Gowther said, "a long time ago, Bartra forced me to wear female clothes once... and that was my first experience."
"Seriously," Ban and (Y/N) said.
(Y/N) looked at Elizabeth seeing her stare of into space, Meliodas also noticed this jumping onto her.
"what's up with you, staring into space?"" Meliodas asked. "If something's worrying you, you can talk to me any time y'know."
"I'd like to talk to you later... just the two of us... if that's alright Meliodas?" Elizabeth said as Meliodas let himself down.
"Hmm...? Sure," Meliodas said.
"I'll go bring more drinks," Elizabeth said heading in the tavern.
"Looks like you finally pissed her off," Hawk said while Meliodas scratched his head.
"Err... ummm... Merlin... I wrote a new poem, if you'd care to hear it, I love to..." Escanor said.
"I think I'm a bit drunk... perhaps next time?" Merlin said.
"WHAA, you can toss'em back almost better than the captain," Ban said, "and you're 'drunk' after just one or two glasses?"
"THAT'S RUDE BAN," Escanor said.
"Hmph... same as ever," Merlin said, "getting touchy freely and runnin' your mouth when you drink... just don't forget, we still have yet to defeat all of the ten commandments... we've still got Zeldris of piety left, you could say Camelot as well as that entire region is completely under his control right now."
"FWAHA HAHAAAA, but now that all eight are back together, it'll be a piece of leftover cake," Hawk said, "after all, you've got who you even call the ninth sin, master Hawk of food scraps with you."
Merlin stared at Hawk, "if we go acting carelessly, we will with all certainty be killed, our opponent's power is still utterly unknown," Merlin said scaring Hawk.
"The demon king has lent his own magic power to use... he is the demon king's agent and representative... that's what he said," Diane said, "just as Merlin said, that the commandment is going to be trouble."
"The, D," King stuttered.
"Demon king's representative?" Escanor said sweating.
"In other words," Ban said, "He is almost the strongest of all demons.
As the others stared into space (Y/N) stared into the sky, only for Meliodas catch is attention with a clap.
"Our most urgent objective right now is to free the people of Liones as well as the Holy Knights, from the imprisonment of his commandment," Meliodas said, "and the liberation of Camelot, we can worry about fighting him after that."
"As the captain said," Merlin said "we will need to a detailed, well thought out plan, as well as complete solidarity and cooperation to be able to move forward. That's all I have to say for now."
Elaine stared at Merlin.
"Umm, Merlin, g... goodnight," Escanor said as Merlin walked off followed by Meliodas and Escanor short after.
"(Y/N)," Diane said catching the saiyans attention, "you been looking to the stars for a while,"
"Sorry," (Y/N) said scratching his head, "guess I got lost in thought."
"What were you thinking about?" Diane asked.
"Just, the stuff that happened while I was away,"
"ooo, what happened?"
(Y/N) stayed silent for a moment, "I was sent through time,"
"Seriously?"
"Like when me and Diane went to the holy war?" King said.
"No, I was a part of the events, or the after event."
"What does that mean?" Ban asked.
"If you read a history book on when I was, I would be in that book,"
"So, what were you apart off?" Diane asked.
"My sin,"
"that's terrible," Diane said.
"It was fine, got myself out of that place."
"So, what was it?" Gowther asked.
"Sigh... I might as well tell the whole story..." (Y/N) said shocking the sins, "my name, you probably heard it, is The Fire, I changed it to (Y/N) to hide from what I did... that was killing my whole race," shocking the sins more, "I fought in a war, the reality war, the first war, we were fighting against the Arcosians for the sake of all of creation, and I could see that if this war was going to continue than places like Britannia was going to suffer from our war, so using the power I had, I burned the entire world, killing both the Saiyans and the Arcosians, and I have been regretting it ever since then." as the sins looked sad at the Saiyan, (Y/N) took a sigh, "I never though, I would get through that, I was thinking for a while on how t..."
Diane suddenly hugged (Y/N) "We are here for you (Y/N)," Diane said, "right King?"
"Yeah," King said not so sure.
"Wait," Ban said, "you said you 'burned the entire world,' but the world is fine."
"Think," (Y/N) said as Diane let him down, "if not this world,"
"Then you are not from this world," Gowther said.
"Correct," socking the sins,
"So, you are an alien?" Diane asked.
"Well, to me, everyone here is alien, but yes," (Y/N) said as he started to cough.
"Are you okay?" Diane asked.
"Yep," (Y/N) said, as he headed inside, "I just need some sleep," as he continued into his room laying on his bed, "I'm sorry everyone," a muffled (Y/N) said head down in the pillow, "I'm sorry for what is going to happen."

Please do not repost my work elsewhere without my written permission. What type of reader is this book for? You might enjoy The Last Orellen if you like... Clever and resourceful protagonists. Big fantasy worlds. Multiple cultures, lots of characters, many different types of magic--this story is expansive rather than closely focused on a narrow storyline. Progression fantasy that takes its time. Our main character will be progressing through magical ranks, but this is going to be a lengthy story. Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.
