《Are You Right For Me?~Sesshomaru Love Story~》32

Sesshomaru is a pain in the ass. He always says mean things to me and teases me to no end. I never thought that we could ever get along neither did I want to sit down and talk with him peacefully... Not that it would go by peacefully, anyway.
"Meh. Me and that jerk, talk in one room? Ha! They think way too highly of me." I scoffed as I made my way through the forest a little farther from the castle.
Father and everyone agreed that Sesshomaru and I should sit down and talk peacefully over tea since they can't stand our constant bickering anymore. As if I would listen. I'd just go explore a bit before heading back. I might end up getting lectured but at least I don't have to stay in the same room as HIM! I can already imagine the bullying if I even stayed in the same room as him for just ONE second!
With that thought in mind, I ran off to a nearby human village. Now I actually find humans to be quite fascinating for some reason. The way some of them do things are very... unique. Or maybe I am just a weird one. One HUGE weirdo as a matter of fact! Meh, who am I kidding? >.>
"Oh. It's Yuki! It has been awhile since you came to visit!" I was greeted by Lady Miyu as I enter the village.
"Yep! How are you doing, Lady Miyu?" I smiled as I see her. Lady Miyu is the priestess of this village in her late 30's and she knows I'm a youkai. The rest of the villagers doesn't know that I am a youkai.
"I'm pretty good myself. How about you?"
"Pretty... Good..." I muttered, swallowing the word terrible. Since the past few days I had been dealing with THAT demon, Sesshomaru.
"Hahaha. Running away from home again?"
UGH!! "I don't know what you're talking about." I whistled, not looking at her.
"Oh, Yuki came!"
"It's been awhile hasn't it?!"
"Yes. How are everyone?" I asked, cuddling the kids.
"Good! The harvest this year is great! We're going to help Mom and Dad out in the fields now!" The kids say together, excitedly.
"Sounds fun! Can I help?"
I usually help out when I come here and chat away with the villagers. It makes me feel at peace all the time.
"Yep! If you want! Let's go!" The kids run off to the fields happily.
I was about to run over to the fields before a hand grabs my upper arm and stops me. "What..." I was shocked when I turn around and saw THE Demon! Behind us Lady Miyu tensed up immediately.

"What are you doing out here?" He questions, well with his tone it wasn't really a question. It was more like a demand that he wants a full written report. "I am not interested in you, Human."
Why is he here?! Actually... he can help carry the harvests.
"Wait! He's a family friend's son." I explained, dragging Sesshomaru towards me. He sends me a commanding glare.
STOP GLARING AT ME ALREADY, YOU DEMON!
"Actually, he'll help out too!"
"I have no interest in -"
"Nope! Too late to back out now!" Ignoring whatever he has to say, I dragged him off to the fields.
"Why do I have to do this?" He asks, not budging a bit as we got to the fields.
"For the fun of it! I mean you don't have anything to do right?" I grinned at him.
He glared at me. Well if glares can kill, I probably died over 200 times now. "I despise humans. However, I will help under one condition."
Asshole.
"What condition?"
"You will talk to me. One on one after this." He said, well more like demands.
I groaned inwardly. "Fine. Now will you help?"
"What do I need to do?"
"Help carry the harvests to that hut over there." I pointed to a hut where there are huge brown sacks outside.
. . . . . .
"That was fun!" I stretched my arms in front of me as we head back to the castle from the village.
"I don't understand." Sesshomaru said.
"Understand what?" I'm confused at his words.
"Why do you interact with humans?"
OH! That was what he meant! I guess it is rare for a youkai to be around humans.
"For the fun of it. Besides I get to learn way more this way than from reading books and humans are unique in their own way."
I think humans are pretty similar to youkai. Striving for better lives, fighting for power, protecting those important to them, and trying to do the impossible.
"There is nothing you can learn from humans."
"There are a lot of stuff you can learn from them!" I glared at him. At this point we've stopped walking and just stood there, glaring at each other. Well I'm the one glaring at him while his expression remains... expressionless. "They have a much shorter live-span than we do but they'll try to accomplish a lot of things within the time they are given before leaving this world."
"That is useless. We, youkais, have a much longer life-span." He says in a monotone voice.
"But not many of us will try accomplish much in a short period of time or appreciate what we have. I'm envious of humans, sometimes I wish I was born a human instead." Then Mother probably wouldn't die from giving birth to me. She would still be alive.

"Appreciate... Why are you crying now?"
"I am not!" I wiped my tears away quickly.
"You are as vulnerable as a human despite being a youkai." He said, leaning towards me.
"Am not!" Before I can retort, I felt his lips on mine. Strangely, my heart begins to beat super-fast as heat gathered on my cheeks. I stood there completely dumbfounded as he pulled away.
"Let's go." Without another word, he walked away.
"W-w-w-w-wait! What was that about?!" I yelled, finally regaining my senses. However, he just ignored me and continues walking. I ran over to him and ask but he still ignored me. "Hey! Answer me!"
"What are you talking about?" He said like he had no clue about what he had done earlier.
"That... stunt you pulled earlier!"
"What stunt?"
The entire way back, I couldn't get a word out of him. It left me anxious. VERY anxious!
. . . . . .
Nope. I can't seem to sleep. Freaking Demon! Bloody Demon! Ugh!!! I'll stab him a million times if anyone gives me the chance!
After many twisting and turning in my bed, I finally gave up. Sleep just isn't coming tonight. I let out a sigh as I opened the window and jumped down into the garden.
"Well if I can't sleep then I'll take a walk."
I sighed, dragging my feet along to wherever I was heading because I stopped paying attention to my surroundings after jumping into the garden. Sleep isn't coming to me anytime soon as far as I can tell and so I just ended up walking into the forest nearby. The smell of damp dirt, leaves, flowers, and other living beings in the forest have an oddly calming effect on me. It helps me relax instantly, or maybe I'm just that weird one.
Hmm... Nope. I'm not weird at all. I just like being outside in the nature. Yup. That's it. Besides, if anyone is weird, it would have to be that jerk, Sesshomaru! He is totally not normal! From his attitude to his... to his... Umm... to his... Agh!!! He's just a jerk!
It wasn't long until I came to a stream. A grin tug at the end of my mouth as I take off my shoes and folded the hems of my kimono before running into the stream.
"This is kind of fun. Playing in water, haha." I laughed as I continue to run around in the stream, sometimes attempting to catch a fish whenever I see one. But the fish would always get away before I can get my hands on it. "Jeez... They're way too fast to catch."
I sighed as I raised my arms up into the night sky to stretch my bent back.
"That is because you move too slow."
"Eep! W-w-why are you here?!" I jumped at the voice as I turn around to see that demonic jerk leaning against the tree. Oddly enough, my heart went into hyperventilation mode for some reason.
Breath, Yuki, breath... It's just that jerk. Yeah, it's just that jerk – just that inconsiderate jerk that I will kill later when I get my hands on him.
"I followed you."
He... followed me?
I stared at him, completely not sure what to believe. "Are you stalking me?"
"...."
"Answer me! It's just creepy when you don't even answer me!" I backed away immediately although it wasn't like he was going to come near me or anything.
"Childish." He scoffed as he walked towards me.
Oh my gosh! Is he coming near me to kill me!?
Weird thoughts rushed through my head as he came closer. Then he held out his hand without stepping into the stream. I looked at him, confused. Heck! I'm pretty sure there's confusion written all over my face right now.
"You've played long enough, have you not?" It wasn't a question. It was more like a statement.
I sighed as I trudged over slowly. I don't even know why the heck am I listening to him! This is nuts! Just as I reached out and grabbed his arm an idea came to me and I pulled him into the stream with me.
Which didn't work out too well. I lost my balance while pulling him in and fell backwards. I closed my eyes and waited for the pain to come, it never did. But I did feel my clothes getting wet.
"Idiot."
I opened my eyes and found that we were in a very awkward position. Somehow, he caught me but I still ended up laying in the stream, with him hovering over me.
I blinked... Not once. But a couple of times before I could actually grasp on what situation I was in.
"Hey... Move." I muttered.
"Is that all you have to say?"
"Yep, now move." I said, trying to push him away but he didn't budge at all! "Ugh! Just what are you made of?"
"Yuki." I froze.
Did he actually say my name? He did, didn't he??? It actually sounds nice... I did not just think that!
"W-what?"
