《Not really a slave - Sesshomaru love story》Chapter 14 - Wedding

Natsu pov:
We all sat around in front of the fire place as we talked. It had been so long since I had seen my parents and we had a lot of catching up to do.
Of course, Sesshomaru was the silent one and he just sat next to me and occasionally scowled probably in annoyance. We had finished eating pizzas for dinner and the kids loved it. Sesshomaru didn’t seem to like it too much since he usually didn’t eat normal human food. But there was nothing else that was available to eat, so he had to force the pizza down his throat.
“And we just had to give it up! They threw the wine in the air as a celebration!” I said and I laughed with him. “That’s amazing dad! Its great that you got the award! I always knew you were the best!” I said and drank some of my coke. I perked up when the door bell rang and I got up. “Who’s here this late in the night?” I wondered out loud and opened the door.
“Grandma?!” Yup, there she was….the plump and short lady who I was very fond of. She whacked me on the head with her walking stick and I yelped and rubbed the sore spot. “Is that how you greet your grandmother when you see her? Honestly, children these days…” She muttered and trotted inside. I sweatdropped and sighed as I closed the door and walked to the living room where everyone was seated.
“Oh, hello mother.” My dad said and got up and hugged grandma. He also received a whack on his head and I sweatdropped again. “A pathetic excuse for a son! Honestly, do you even remember that I’m alive still?” She asked with a glare. I laughed nervously and Sesshomaru, Rin and Kaito were watching with weirded out expressions.
“So, who is the fool to take my granddaughter as his wife?” She bellowed and I flinched when I saw Sesshomaru clench his fist. I quickly moved to his side and held his arm. “C’mon grandma! Don’t be mean! This is Sesshomaru, the one I love.” I patted his arm and my grandma stood in front of us and scrutinized Sesshomaru.
I was twitching nervously knowing very well that one small well wishing insult of hers could make Sesshomaru go on a rampage. Rin and Kaito knew that well too and they watched nervously.
“Hmmm….seems handsome enough.” Crap….
“And tall. He doesn’t seem to have one arm….but I suppose I can adjust to that since you are the fool who likes him.” Not good…..grandma…you better stop now!!!
“And I supposed he’s still competent to give me a great grandchild.” She muttered and I heard Sesshomaru growl. This is not good! His hands were trembling and I could see his eyes slowly turning red and I grabbed his fist and patted it while dragging him away. “Grandma! Why don’t you take a seat and relax? Sesshomaru and I will get you some hot tea!” I said and dragged Sesshomaru to the kitchen.
“What do these kids think of me? I may be old, but I still have lot of strength in this body!” I heard her mutter and when we reached the kitchen, I sighed in relief. I looked at Sesshomaru and cringed at the angry expression he had on his face. “How dare she talk to this Sesshomaru that way!” He bellowed and I flinched. I sighed again and leaned my head on his chest while holding his clothes in my hands.

“I’m sorry Sesshomaru….my grandma is a little too…..eccentric. I know I’m asking too much, but could you just try to ignore what she says while she’s here? Even though her words are rough, she always means well and she’s always looking out for us.” Sesshomaru clenched his arm tighter and growled under his breath. “The only reason why she isn’t dead yet is because of you.” I flinched but gave a soft thank you to him.
I moved away from him and went to make some tea. I put the water for boiling and put in some tea leaves and waited for it to boil. As I stood there I remembered the last thing grandma said and I felt my face heat up. My ears felt hot too and I swallowed thickly. “Natsu, why is your face red?” I felt his hot breath on my ear and I shivered.
“N-no reas-son….” I managed to squeak out but he turned me around and narrowed his eyes at me. I gulped as he looked over my face. “You are to tell me everything, Natsu.” He growled and I gulped again. “I-I was just…..” I let my head fall, my hair covering the massive blush on my face. “Grandma was talking about great grandchildren….” I said as softly as possible, but since he was a dog demon he obviously heard it.
When I didn’t hear anything, I looked up and my whole face flamed at seeing the smirk on Sesshomaru’s face. I felt so embarrassed, I could just faint here. Sesshomaru pulled me to him and I squeaked as I felt his tongue leave a warm train on my neck. “In time Natsu….but first, I will have you become a full dog demon…..I refuse to father half demon children.” His lips were just next to my ear and I squirmed feeling more and more embarrassed by the moment.
He finally let go and I shook my head trying to calm myself. I strained the tea leaves out and put them into cups and I let out a breath as we entered the living room. I gave tea to everyone and Sesshomaru and I sat down next to each other again. I was fidgeting slightly still thinking about my embarrassing moment before though.
“Now, to fix your wedding date!” Grandma yelled and Rei and I choked on the tea. I hacked and coughed and looked at her with wide eyes. “Wedding date?!”
>>Timeskip
Its been 3 days and today is my wedding with Sesshomaru.
I wasn’t sure of we should go through with a proper wedding, but mom and dad wanted to since I was their only child and they wanted to celebrate it as grand as they could. Inviting friends and family, wedding in a church, celebrating with a big cake…..yeah they had big plans.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t say no and I managed to convince Sesshomaru that we would leave the minute the wedding was over. Rei had taken the responsibility to get a suit for Sesshomaru and the rest of the thing my parents were taking care of. Of course, grandma was the supervisor and she got things done by screaming and whacking everyone on their heads if they messed up even a little bit.
Rin and Kaito helped too and I asked Rin to be my maid of honor and Kaito to be Sesshomaru’s best man. Sesshomaru seemed to have finally accepted Kaito and when I had asked him if it was ok, he had agreed without thinking much about it.

So now I was here in the bride’s room all dressed up and waiting for my dad to walk me down the aisle. I was actually kinda nervous. I mean marriage was a big step after all and it meant I would be bonded to Sesshomaru for life. Of course, I loved him and that is what I wanted, but it still sent butterflies through my stomach.
“You look like an angel Natsu.” I looked up and smiled at Rei. “Rei….” I said softly and stood up. He was also dressed in a tux and he walked to me. “I’m proud of you, Natsu.” I smiled and we fell into an embrace. “Thanks for always being there for me Rei. I love you…..like a brother.” He chuckled and patted my head.
“Sesshomaru is going to be blown off his feet.”
Sesshomaru pov:
I growled in annoyance. The stupid annoying human had explained how the wedding took place here. Perhaps it was a custom here but it was such a bother. If it wasn’t for Natsu and Rin’s pleas, I would have made sure we had left 3 days ago itself.
And to make thing even more annoying, we were rudely woken up this morning and I hadn’t seen Natsu all day. Rei had said something about another custom that the groom shouldn’t see the bride before the wedding ceremony. What kind of foolish human practice was that?!
And I had to wear an annoying outfit. It was tight and uncomfortable and just so odd looking. I growled under my breath and narrowed my eyes when I got that human’s scent.
“Natsu looks really beautiful, you know.” He said and I turned to him glaring. Was he trying to make fun of this Sesshomaru? But when I saw him, he looked….sad. He gave a smile and walked to me. “Lord Sesshomaru, please take care of Natsu for us. She’s been brought up like a delicate flower. She may be physically stronger and more courageous than most other women, but she’s still a girl and her heart is delicate. I know you truly love her, and I cant imagine any better person for her than you. But please, take good care of her and keep her happy.”
For some reason, I couldn’t do anything besides nod at him. “Lord Sesshomaru?” We looked to see the half demon there. Rei placed a hand on my shoulder and I narrowed my eyes at him. He smiled and walked out. The half demon walked in front of me and I stood at the altar where a priest was standing behind a table. I scowled as I waited. I hadn’t seen Natsu all day! How long were they going to make this Sesshomaru wait?
Soft music began to play and I turned around and my eyes widened. My inner demon went almost wild when my gaze landed on Natsu. She looked absolutely stunning and I clenched my fist and my jaw to control my desire to take her then and there. She wore a white dress that flowed down in layers and the sleeves fell off her shoulders. Her shoulders and collar bone was bare and my fangs grew slightly at the desire that bubbled within me.
Natsu pov:
I walked with my father down the aisle and I received soft congratulatory words from the people who had come to see the wedding. I looked up and blushed when I saw Sesshomaru. He looked rally handsome in the suit and his eyes were shining with so much passion that it made goosebumps erupt on my skin. Rin walked behind me holding the long veil as it tailed behind me.
We reached the altar and my dad handed my hand to Sesshomaru. His clawed hand took mine and I blushed slightly as we stood next to each other on the altar. We looked up at the priest and he looked around at everyone in the room.
“We are gathered here today on this special occasion for the holy matrimony of Miss Azuma Natsu and Mr Sesshomaru. Marriage is….a scred oath between two people in front of those whom you love and cherish. If anyone objects to this marriage, please speak up now, or forever hold your peace.” The preist said and I smiled softly. I heard Rin squeal behind me and I giggled softly.
“Do you, Azuma Natsu, take Sesshomaru to be your husband, to love him and to honor him, to nurture, serve and support him, in times of joy and in times of difficulty? Do you promise with all your heart and soul to honor this vow till death do you part?”
“I do.”
“Do you, Sesshomaru, take Natsu to be your wife, to love her and to honor her, to nurture, serve and support her, in times of joy and in times of difficulty? Do you promise with all your heart and soul to honor this vow till death do you part?”
“Hn.”
I mentally rolled my eyes as Sesshomaru maintained his stoic façade through the speech, but nonetheless I knew he accepted me for who I am. “And so we come, Natsu and Sesshomaru, to the presentation of rings by which you symbolize and bind your love.” Rin and Kaito walked up to us and held out rings. We exchanged rings and I blushed again and looked up shyly at Sesshomru. His face was blank but I could see the warmth and the affecting in his eyes.
“I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride.” The priest said and my heart leapt. Sesshomaru took off the veil on my face and he brought his arm around me pulling me to him. I closed my eyes as our lips met and Sesshomaru growled as he deepened the kiss. After a few seconds, I forcefully pulled away and smiled sheepishly at Sesshomaru as he looked annoyed. “People are watching.” I whispered and I held his arm and we turned around.
People stood up and clapped and cheered as we walked down the aisle. Rin was holding Sesshomaru’s suit and Kaito was holding my hand as we walked. We finally made it outside and people gathered in a group. Sesshoamaru frowned and looked to me. “What are they doing?” I chuckled and turned around so my back was to them. I threw the boquet of flowers I had in my hand backwards and I head squeals from the crowd.
I turned around again and saw that one of my neighbor’s daughters had managed to catch it and I chuckled. “Its just a fun custom.” I said to Sesshomaru and took his hand in mine.

“Are you sure you don’t need your phone, sweetie?” My mom asked and I sighed. “No mom….it wont work in the feudal era anyway.” I said and stuffed a few stuff into my backpack. Rin, Kaito and Sesshomaru were already in their feudal era clothes and were ready to leave. I was wearing a pair of track pants and a simple t shirt.
My parents were fussing over things and grandma was grumbling and ordering everyone around as always. I sighed and wiped my brow. Being around so many people during the wedding today was tiring. And now I had to go back to the feudal era. I stretched my arms above my head and squeaked when I felt an arm around my waist. I blinked and looked down to see Sesshomaru’s clawed hand.
I shivered when I felt his fangs graze my neck and I turned around to face him. “Sorry, I’ll be ready in a few minutes.” I told him and he bent down to kiss me deeply. He tilted his head sideways and pushed his tongue into my mouth and I whimpered into the kiss. His hand was holding the back of my head so I couldn’t pull away and I could make out that his fangs were sharper than usual.
I clutched his haori in my fists and whimpered again as my legs buckled. We broke contact and Sesshomaru held me around the waist to his chest and I panted. “S-sesshomaru?” I asked a little surprised by the sudden kiss. He growled and his body was hot. I looked up in concern and touched his forehead. “Sesshomaru….I think you have a fever.” I said and cupped his cheek. “Maybe we should let you rest and postpone going back to the feudal era.”
He growled and put his face in my neck. I looked sideways at him nervous about what was happening. He was breathing heavily and I patted his head. “Sesshomaru….whats happening?” “Heat….” I heard him say and I frowned. “What?” He growled deeply again and licked my neck. “I am in heat…..because of you.”
My eyes went wide. When he said in heat….he didn’t mean. I blushed and my heart rate sky rocketed. I could feel his heart pounding well and he was breathing hard. I swallowed and pushed him off me gently. “C’mon Sesshomaru, snap out of it!” I yelled softly and he shut his eyes tightly. He just stood there with his eyes shut and he trembled occasionally.
After a few minutes he let out a breath and opened his eyes. He seemed back to normal and he had temporarily subsided his ‘heat’ as of now. I sighed in relief. “Hey Natsu, are you ready? I got the….oh, am I interrupting something?” Rei entered the room and I shook my head with a smile. “No its fine. We were just about to leave.”
I picked up the bag I had and we made it to the living room. There was a priest there and he had drawn some weird pattern on the floor and lit candles around it. I blinked. “Um, whats this?” I asked and Rei chuckled. “An incantation to send you back to the feudal era.” I just nodded and me, Sesshomaru, Jaken, Rin and Kaito got into the pattern and the priest began to mumble something. A few seconds passed and the ground below us began to glow. “We’ll miss you….take care.” Those were the last words I heard from my parents and Rei.
I felt like the ground suddenly disappeared and I squeaked as I clutched onto Sesshomaru. A few seconds later, I looked around and we were in a forest. I let go of Sesshomaru and looked around. “So….where are we? And which way do we go?” I asked and Sesshomaru walked off in some direction without saying anything.
I rolled my eyes and the 4 of us followed him while Jaken scurried to his feet while whining. I patted Rin and Kaito on their head and we began to walk through the forest.
Just as I had realized earlier, Kaito wasn’t much of a child anymore. He reached till my shoulder and I could make out that his hand was bigger than before. I smiled to myself. He was growing up to be a fine demon….and I’m sure he would be a good demon as well.
After about an hour of walking, we made it to a pond. The water was sparkling and you could see the floor of the pond. I parted my lips in awe and got on my knees in front of the water. “Its so clear!” I said. But I jumped and fell on my rear in surprise when a transparent demon popped out of the water. I blinked and then sweatdropped at my surprise and stood up while dusting my track pants.
“Lord Sesshomaru, I am humbled to be in your presence. How can I assist you?” The demon bowed to him and I shifted n my feet curiously. “I want you to make Natsu a dog demon.” He said and I looked at Sesshomaru. So this was the pond in the eastern lands that Rei had mentioned? I had actually expected it would be bigger and a lot more fancy looking….maybe with some falls and magical colors…..but it looked quite ordinary. Nonetheless, if it was the pond that could change a person into a demon, I guess it didn’t matter if it was simple looking or fancy.
The pond demon looked at me and gave a smile. It was actually kinda creepy since he was pretty much transparent. The demon bowed and asked me to get into the pond. I hesitated and looked at Sesshomaru. He was watching expectantly and I sighed. I took a breath. I was from the air force….some magic water wasn’t gonna scare me.
I left my slippers on the ground and stepped into the water. I stood in the center and just waited. The demon started to mutter something while closing his eyes and I bit the inside of my cheek. “Um….is something supposed to be happening?” I asked unsure but the next minute I screeched when I was dragged down completely into the water. I saw such bright light that I closed my eye and struggled trying to get out of the water, but I couldn’t.
Finally, after what felt like several minutes, whatever the invisible force that was holding me down let up and I broke through the surface of the water coughing and spluttering for air. I panted and moved my hair out of my face. I coughed again and looked around breathing heavily.
I felt oddly strong and I felt a searing pain through my head at the scents I could smell. And the wind sounded so loud in my ears. I clutched my ears and screamed. “Stop! Make it stop!” I begged and I felt another searing pain. I felt dizzy and I felt someone catch me as I fell forward into darkness.
>>Timeskip
I groaned softly and opened my eyes. I saw the ceiling of a cave and I sat up and clutch my aching head. “You’re awake.” I winced as Sesshomaru’s voice sounded loud and I looked up at him. “Why do I feel this way?” I croaked out and Sesshomaru sat down next to me. He was shirtless and was just in his hakama pants. His fur had been wrapped around me and even though I was so tired just a few minutes ago, I was starting to feel better already.
“You are now a dog demon so your sense of smell and hearing are very strong. You fainted because you couldn’t take everything in at once.” I nodded and rubbed a hand on my shoulder. I moved my shirt to touch my aching shoulders and the next minute I was pinned to the ground on my back.
I blinked and looked up at Sesshomaru. He bent down and licked my neck and his body was hot again. I shivered….was he in heat again? I felt his clawed hand lift up my shirt and touch my stomach and my bare waist. I shivered again and Sesshomaru moved up and stared at me.
He was trembling slightly and his eyes were slightly red. His teeth were bared out in a snarl and I could see the hunger in his eyes. He had been controlling himself ever since we left from the modern era. And I could tell that he didn’t have any more self control now.
