《I See You [Sesshomaru]》Chapter 62

There were explosions running throughout the battlefield. Though the targets were the various households, the few from the horde that became mixed up in the blasts were not mourned over. A reincarnation was on the warpath throwing horokubiya bombs in all directions. Yet he seemed to have his sights set on one area in particular as it went up in smoke and flames. Sections of the ground shot up from the blasts taking boars, dogs, and tanukis demons with it and in the air hawks that drifted too close to the ground attempted to avoid a collision. "Find that reincarnation and kill it!" Aisu ordered.
Sesshomaru already had a good idea as to where the target was located when Tobi came up beside them. He was covered in blood though most was not his. But it was the look in his eyes that were trained on the heavily bombed area that made the few pack members congregated worried. "Akiko is in that direction!" he barked. Sesshomaru's eyes flashed red at this news, watching the half-demon rush off into the smoke out of sight.
"Find it!" Aisu ordered again.
Using his speed, Sesshomaru had no time to waste on the lower demons that charged forward leaving them to the hands of his soldiers.
Meanwhile, Naraku was pleased watching his most dangerous reincarnation upturning the ground where his enemies stood. Akuhei was a master of explosions. A swift end would meet those that crossed his path even if they didn't realize it was present. His silent nature allowed him to move about the battlefield not drawing any attention to him as multiple explosives went off throwing a section of the field high into the air. It made him grin sadistically.
An attack suddenly ripped through his barrier and into the side of the half-demon's body. The diamond shards were familiar finding Inuyasha had managed to find him with a glare. "Thought you could hide, didn't you, Naraku?" the half-demon growled.

"The only one who should be hiding is you, Inuyasha," the man bit back. And with a glance towards his back noticed the human female and added with a smirk, "You have brought me exactly what I needed. My wish will be granted and I will wipe your very existence from this world."
"That's what you think!" Kagome shouted. Releasing her arrow a pink aura emitted from the tail only for him to dodge as his body began to reform.
"Where is the shard, Kagome?" Inuyasha questioned lowly.
"His abdomen."
"Miroku!"
The monk nodded along with Sango as the two turned away and retained a perimeter around them. They would need all the space they could get without being worried about the horde as the two along with Shippo and Kirara defended their backs. "You all will regret the day you went against me," Naraku threatened. "To think how much time has passed since our first meeting nearly sixty years ago, Inuyasha. I have been waiting for the day to finally end you." His human form began to come undone as spider-like legs protruded from his abdomen along with other misshapen demon parts that made him whole.
"Disgusting bastard. You're going to pay for everything you've done."
Naraku only chuckled, "I highly doubt that."
Within the battlefield Sesshomaru had found Akuhei. His lanky build would not be considered intimidating until looking into his pale red eyes. They held no remorse and it was hard to gauge what he was thinking as bombs were planted throughout the households ranks. Lady Eri lay on the ground glaring up at the reincarnation. She had reverted back into her human form due to the wound she was clutching at her side, a bomb seeming to have gone off where a crater lay a few feet from her. There were boar corpses everywhere in the pit. Dragging herself backwards across the ground to try and gain distance from the man it was useless as he strode after the boar demon pulling free another bomb. Just as he was about to light it Sesshomaru attacked. Akuhei moved out of the way as the dog demon sprayed dirt into the air from the force, watching the expert in a calculating manner. Unlike Oiwa, this one didn't seem to be much for words.

Junko suddenly appeared beside Lady Eri pressing a cloth to the wound before collecting the demon into her arms and rushing off without another word. Akuhei watched them go before turning his attention back on the Lord of the West. Stashing the bomb he pulled free a string from inside his robs that had multiple smaller ones attached along the chain. Snapping it around like a whip, the bomb at the end came loose flying in the dog demon's direction as he dodged the explosion. Managing to find an opening Sesshomaru lunged, catching the reincarnation off guard and cutting through a section of his kimono. But it wasn't close enough to draw blood as a shoulder was exposed revealing the edge of the spider-like scar that Naraku wore as well.
"Who was your target?" he questioned. The scent of death was invading his senses now from the sheer number of casualties this clearing was witnessing. Despite his good sense of smell it was difficult in this area to determine where Akiko was or the pack. Even his soldiers could no longer be deciphered among the gunpowder that also littered the ground.
"I believe you already know that answer," Akuhei answered in a deep voice. Sesshomaru nearly snarled. "It was chance that the mate of the Boar Clan stumbled into my path. How fortunate for me. But I wonder if I had that same luck with that reincarnation Naraku so wishes to be rid of? It was a perfect opening though she caught on at the last moment. I must check to see if she was indeed ripped apart. I bet she's a lovely color of red on the inside."
With red eyes the warning was lost on Akuhei as Sesshomaru attacked without mercy.

Riftwalker
Legend speaks that a roaring force of insatiable abyss lies beneath the peaceful overworld. Named the Rift after its chasm-like entrances, this unexplored void has consumed the underneath for eons. What had seemed just a myth crawled out of unreality in the form of eldritch creatures. Reborn as something not entirely human, mankind rejected the boy. Thrown into the Rift by people who feared him, he had to live in a world run by monsters as a newborn. Surviving, however, wasn't his only difficulty as he soon had to decide whether he would save the people who banished him or simply idle as the Rift engulfed all life. As of chapter 9, Riftwalker is on a very small hiatus. I'm very busy with work atm :( Here are a couple of things to expect: Lots of action and exploration! Diverse and refreshing creatures; There are good and evil. Satisfying progression and coming of age. The protagonist stands out but isn't overpowered. There are some litRPG elements, but it's not a determinant factor. The fights are decided through one's combat skill and experience and not stat-checking. Oh, and some other info: There is a bit of gore, but nothing disturbing. Occasionally, there will be images of the scenery and landscape. Chapters will be around 1,5k to 2k words long, and the releases will probably be relatively slow, sorry.
