《Growing Old》Writing

Mina helped the greenette walk down the hall, since his foot was still sore from the fight. They took an elevator to the floor right above them and walked to a room at the end of the hall.
Izuku was hesitant to walk in, scared to see the condition Bakugo was in. So, Mina opened the door, being the one to lead him in. Bakugo perked up at the sight of the greenette, but instantly had an expression of sorrow right after it.
The pink haired girl looked between the two, leaving the room to allow them to have a moment. Izuku moved to Bakugo's side, taking his bruised hand in his gently.
"Kacchan, I-" Izuku stopped his sentence, forgetting the hero was now deaf.
More tears spilled out of his green eyes, but they were quickly wiped away with the pad of Bakugo's thumb. He looked up, seeing the blonde with a straight face.
He pointed at Bakugo, then gave an ok sign, asking the man if he was alright. Bakugo just shrugged, rubbing his thumb over one of Izuku's scars on his hand. The blonde motioned for Izuku to bend down, then planting a kiss to his lips.
The greenette shakily sighed, grabbing a chair and pulling it to the side of the hospital bed. He didn't know how to communicate, and it hurt him that he couldn't.
Bakugo waved his hand angrily in front of his face, grabbing his attention. He pointed to his side, then to Izuku, who cocked his head to the right in confusion. The blonde huffed with a groan, reaching over and lifting his shirt up, showing a large scar on the greenette's side.
Izuku pursed his lips with a shrug. He went to talk again, but shut his mouth. He got up and looked around the room, finding a pen, clipboard, and blank paper. He scribbled quickly on it, handing it and the pen to Bakugo.

'How are you feeling?'
The blonde quirked an eyebrow up at the writing, sighing and writing his own sentence.
'On edge. I can't hear shit. It's like a fucking vacuum.'
'Even not being able to speak, you still cuss.'
'Am I not allowed? Is free speech not a fucking thing anymore?'
'No, no! It is.'
'Are you doing alright?'
'Just a little sore, but I'll manage.'
'Gotcha.'
The clipboard and pen sat between them, neither knowing what to say anymore. It was weird, not being able to speak. Their conversations flowed so freely and now they were unsure of their own thoughts.
'I don't know what they told you... but-' Bakugo paused his writing, biting his lip as his hand shook. 'Am I permanently deaf?'
'Their trying to find someone with a quirk to heal your ears, if not, they'll prepare hearing aids for you.'
'I didn't ask what they were going to do with this. I asked if it's permanent.'
'Right now, yes.'
Bakugo's face dropped, and so did the pen from his hands. Izuku kept his head down, only peeking up when he heard a hiccup. He stood from his chair, reaching his shaky arms out to the blonde, who wrapped his arms around him and buried his face into his chest.
The greenette allowed some stray tears to fall from his eyes, combing his fingers through Bakugo's hair. The other just clung to Izuku's shirt, trembling with silent sobs.
"I'm sorry." Izuku whispered, even though the blonde couldn't hear. "I'm so sorry."

8 195The Apocalypse Show - Dungeon Core
There were lot's of ways that people had predicted that the world would end. A few even had it partially correct. But how could they have predicted it would be a combination of the system apocalypse and aliens. Specifially aliens that wanted to create the equivlant of a TV show about the system apocalypse on Earth. Arthur woke up with a headache and the option to create a character. Most people would have gone with the safe choice and selected to stay a human. Arthur suspected that wouldn't be the safe choice in his new world. Instead he decided to see what other races were available. Eventually he decided to become a dungeon core instead. Of course being a dungeon core comes with a number of challenges. Starting with the fact that he was a giant crystal instead of having a body, managing a bunch of unintelligent minons, and most importantly the reaction of his human neighbors when they discover him. If he can overcome these challenges he may be able to enjoy some of the benefits. Such as the fact that dungeon cores are immortal and he would eventually have an entire army of dungeon minions that would obey any of his commands. Perhaps even find some female companions that are looking for a safe place during the apocalypse. Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it R for occasional scenes of violence, gore, nudity, and sexual content. This isn't something you would find in the young adult section. This does not mean that this would be rated NC-17 or X, if that is what you are looking for try lewd dungeon.
8 108Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.
