《Growing Old》Fireworks

Bakugo's hands were getting sweatier than usual. It was a little difficult to hold back his explosions as his nerves got the best of him. He reached to his pocket, making sure he had the special box.
Izuku walked up to him, holding their food, "Let's go sit, Kacchan. We still have time till the fireworks."
"Y-Yeah." Bakugo mumbled, following the greenette to one of the tables outside the food stand.
They sat down and began to eat. Izuku eyed Bakugo, who quirked an eyebrow up at him.
"You alright?" Izuku asked.
Bakugo sighed and nodded, "I just don't want this day to end, you know?"
"Aw." Izuku cooed. "I'd think you'd be tired of me by now."
"Of course not, you fucking idiot!" Bakugo shouted, which grabbed some people's attention.
Izuku snorted and started laughing, "Oh gosh."
The two laughed, finishing their food and throwing their trash away. The sun was starting to set, shades of oranges and reds now being casted over the sky. Bakugo took some deep breathes when his lover wasn't looking.
"Ready?" Izuku asked, his teeth gleaming as he smiled.
Bakugo nodded, wrapping an arm around the greenette's shoulders. Izuku smiled wider as he wrapped his arm around the other's waist. The two walked down the paths of the festival, going to their favorite firework watching spot that they hadn't been to in years.
Izuku couldn't contain his excitement as he saw their spot. It was on top of a averagely sized hill, which he started running up as he used his quirk. Bakugo groaned, using explosions to launch himself at the top.
There the two stood. Atop a hill and watching the sun disappear behind the horizon. It was now dark, the stars oh so visible without any cloud in the sky.

"When are they going to start?" Izuku whined impatiently.
Bakugo was all tingly, with butterflies in his stomach and everything, "I-I'm not sure."
"You seem nervous." Izuku murmured, grabbing his hand. "And your hand is sweatier than usual. Are you... are you sure your okay?"
"Yeah." Bakugo sighed, leaning his head on top of Izuku's.
The two flinched at the loud whistling noise, turning to stare at the firework that was launching into the sky. With a crack, boom and multiple pops, the firework exploded into many colors shooting out and dispersing.
The two watched in awe as it was, in fact, a full on coordinated show. Fireworks never stopping as the others ceased in the sky. The light of them lit up their faces, and Bakugo's heart now had began to race.
"Hey." Bakugo murmured out, grabbing the other's attention. "You know... I didn't know what love was, but you changed that. All that shit I did to you in the past- god I hate myself for it and I'm surprised your even with me. When we actually started to get along in highschool, it was like I could feel the timing clicking together and pieces falling into place. You accepted me, even with my shitty attitude. Wanna know what I think love is?"
Izuku was taken aback, but he smiled at his mood, "Sure, Kacchan."
"Love is not only something you feel, it is something you do. It's what you've been through with somebody and Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it a meaning." Bakugo explained, fully turning to face Izuku. "You know... Forever is a long time, but I wouldn't mind spending it by your side. With that-" Izuku took a step back, eyes wide as he watched Bakugo go down on one knee and open a box with a ring inside. "Will you marry me, Izuku Midoriya?"

Izuku was in complete shock, tears slipping out of his eyes. He shakily got on both of his knees, close to the blonde who had tears yet to be spilled. The greenette cupped his face, nodding so quickly you'd think he'd make a smoothie out of his brain.
"Yes." Izuku chokes out, then repeating over and over.
And that's when the waterworks happened for Bakugo. He crashed his lips onto Izuku's, then leaning back and sliding the ring on his right hand ring finger.
Bakugo placed his forehead against Izuku's, holding his hands tightly, "I love you."
"I love you too, Kacchan." Izuku replied.

8 175The Chronicles of The Green wizard
Garion Greensleeves always was an oddity. The first son of High-Wizard Garius Greensleeves and Adricor, a Noble woman of well renown, he would of stood to inherit much. However, on the night of his first full moon, as a baby he disappeared from his cot. His parents, after much frantic searching, found the babe crying in a small clearing of trees, a large feline creature pacing defensively around him, the bloodied corpse of a fox resting at its feet. As the parents approached, the beast transformed into a small owl and flew around the clearing before perching on a low branch of a tree nearby. From this moment on Garion's fate had been decided. Only those with magical blood could be capable of calling out to such a being as this. As Garion grew older, the transforming creature remained by his side. Wizards from all the continents visited the glade to see the child who had bound a familiar to his will as a babe. At age seven, Garion left his home glade and travelled the world studying to become a recognised guilded wizard. After many years he was granted the title of Wizard and was sent forth to advise, learn and ponder on behalf of the guild. After a while, Garion was assigned to a small nation within the vast continent mainly populated by man-folk known as The Patchwork kingdoms.
