Arriving to the airport, each member check for any out of place or any sign of an enemy before leaving to their destination. "Don't let any living creature or machine near this airplane." Bruno told everyone. Latte stood beside Trish with her parasol open to provide shade for the both of them. Leone uses his stand to pilot the plane for them. She closes her parasol to follow Trish inside the airplane.
Narancia quickly told everyone that someone is approaching the plane. Mista warns the individual to stop or he will shoot. He shot the man's knee to stop him. A stand appears behind the stranger in which Mista quickly shoot him dead. Giorno check the man to find out he is completely dead. Everyone board the plane and it took off to the sky.
Latte stood up from her her seat to approach the the front of the plane. Before she could take a step closer, Bruno asks to check on Leone for an update to their destination. She nods her head then moves to the closed door that leads to the pilot's room. Knocking twice to tell him that she is coming in then she opens the door. Leone turns his head to see Latte at the door. His mouth forms a frown to see the mute woman. "What is it?" He asks in a sharp tone. It looks like he is not a mood for conversation especially with someone like her.
She held up her hands up, to signal to him that she is harmless. Pulling out her pen and notepad, she asks Bruno's question to him. "Bucciarati wants to know how long until we arrive to Sardinia?"
"Hmph, maybe in a hour or so." Leone gave a short reply. The mute woman gave a slow nod. Seeing no movement to leave, Leone glares at Latte. "If you don't need anything else, leave." He said. Latte took a step back at the sound of his voice. Giving him a small smile, Latte moves towards the door. "Hey." Leone spoke up. She turns to him in which he slams his hand at the wall next to her. Her body become still as he glares at her like she is an annoying bug.
"If you are clueless, I want you to know that I don't trust you. I got my eye on you." He pulls away from his spot to walk away. Latte grabs the back of his top to stop him. In response, Leone gave her a side glare. Both of them have a stare down. To Latte, it is unfair for him to rule her out as not trustworthy without interacting with her once. The worst part that she can't even speak to him like others - she had to rely on ways to interaction with others.

"If he take the time to know something about me, I would show that I am not a threat to him." Latte thought to herself. Releasing her grip, Latte turns her back to him. She writes on her notepad angrily. Ripping out the paper, she grabs Leone's right hand then slaps the paper on his hand. Not wanting to stay here any further, she left the room. Leone glares at the door then glance at the paper.
On the other side, she informs Bruno of Leone's answer. He thanks Latte then she returns to her seat. She was lost in her thoughts until Giorno spoke up. "Get your gun out and take aim." He told Mista. His words made Latte leave her seat to approach them. Mista tries to wave off Giorno's concern but the teenager insist to check the cabinet. Latte shakes her head at Mista's lack of concern. "All right...All right." Mista let out a sigh then stood up. He should be on his guard since there are enemies at every corner now.
Giorno opens the cabinet to reveal it is a freezer. The teenager mutters an apology. Mista and Latte become still. Their eyes lay on a disturbing sight at the bottom of the freezer. "Giorno...What the hell kind of joke is this?" Mista spoke up, "When did you put that in there?" At the bottom of the freezer are bloody human fingers. The three of them turn pale at the sight. "Aren't these the fingers of the fatty I blasted back at the airport?" Mista asks out loud.
The sight of those fingers made Latte gag. "He shouldn't be saying things like that." Latte thought to herself. Giorno told him to calm down. Looking in the freezer again, there is another finger now. Bruno calls for them to ask what is going on. Checking any signs of life, there are none. Bruno decides to use his stand to send the freezer away into the sky. Everyone held to their seats to avoid being blown away. They let out a sigh after the deed has been done. Everyone decides to check every inch of the plane for anything else out of the ordinary.
A shout made everyone turn to Giorno. All eyes fell on the unusual flesh on Giorno's right arm. The moving flesh reach towards his stand as he tries to attack the stand. Loud bangs echoes throughout the plane. Mista used his bullets to shoot off Giorno's arm and hand to separate the flesh from him. Latte stood behind Mista, eyes widen at the sight. The flesh slam against the wall and slides down. He told them that the stand user is dead but the stand itself is active. "Actually, its not moving at all. Did it die?" Narancia asks. Mista's voice sounds weak as he spoke up.

"It's....not moving? No, Narancia. It's eating so it doesn't have to move right now. I got too close. This thing is fast." Latte saw blood coming out from Mista's side. Suddenly, he fell backwards in which Latte caught him before his head hit the floor. "He is bleeding out." Latte thought to herself. She quickly shed her jacket to press it against Mista's wound. Her eyes lands on the pile of flesh capturing four of Mista's sex pistols. He warns them to stay back. Narancia is the next one to be hurt by the stand. Her eyes fill with panic to see Narancia defeated so easily.
"This is bad...!" Latte thought to herself. She move to the seats with Mista in tow. Smashing the window, Giorno held out his arm with the stand attach to it. Latte held on to the chair with her left hand. Her right arm hooking under Mista's left arm pit to hold him in place. The teenager had sacrifice his other arm to send the stand away to the sky. Bruno slams a board on the broken window to prevent the air from taking anyone else away. "Mista! Mista!" The two pistols cried out.
Latte let them cry on her shoulder while she uses the first aid kit to treat Mista's wounds. Bruno held Giorno in his arms. He put himself down for causing this to happen. Trish told him that no one could have predicted this. "Regardless, we have to tend to their wounds. We have to put them in the turtle." Bruno told Trish. Giorno can't treat anyone's wounds since he needs to touch them to make it work. Approaching Latte, Bruno watch her finishing her work on Mista. She looks up at Bruno who gave her a serious look.
"Mista, Narancia, and Giorno will go to the turtle. You can work on them there." He spoke up - seeing that she has knowledge of first aid. Latte nods her head. Sending her away with her patients in the turtle, she begins working on the other's wounds. Glad to have Bruno use his stand to stop Giorno from bleeding out from the loss of his hands. She make due with what she has to dress their wounds. She tears her coat to make them into bandages for them. "I won't let them die." She silently declares, "Please hang on."
The remaining sex pistols watches Latte focusing on treating her patients. She let out a silent breath as she finishes her last patient. "That's all I can do for now. Now we have to wait." Latte thought to herself, sitting on the floor. Her back press the edge of the coffee table. Her eyes are on the sleeping Narancia. The stand approaches Latte. "Are you okay?" One of the pistol's asked. Latte simply give them a soft smile. She looks up at the ceiling to see Leone and Bruno. Her eyes widen to see Trish and a newly formed stand behind her.
Latte smiles brightly at the sight. Trish has really grown up for the past couple days. She couldn't help but be proud of her. Their luck really changed as Giorno is able to create a new hand - healing everyone in the process. Leone glances at Latte in silence as she receives a bit of praise from Bruno for taking care the wounded members. She simply gives him a thumbs up. Leone glances away from them when Latte turns her head to him. "Actions, huh?" He thought to himself. Even if she took care of his friends, he still has doubts about her. After all, being cautious kept Leone and his friends alive.
In one dark room, the boss knows Bruno and the team survived. King Crimson glares at one photo among the rest. The photo of Leone Abbacchio. He knows he is finished if he uses Moody Blues to find his identity. "I can't let Moody Blues replay that!" He thought to himself in anger. The only thing he can do is go there himself and prevent Abbacchio from using his stand.

The Voice of the World
Jason Elric used to be an ordinary college student living in the heart of San Francisco. He had a part time job, he played online games with friends he got along moderately well with, and he earned reasonably good grades. The worst he really had to worry about in life was turning in his coursework on time and not being late to class. Now, though? Now fighting for his life and running from a horde of giant frogs that want to make him their next meal is just another Tuesday. Thanks to a summoning ritual gone terribly right, Jason has found himself trapped in a world eerily similar to the role playing games games he used to play for fun. Unfortunately for the now ex-college student, everything happening around him is terrifyingly real and if he wants to survive, he’ll have to figure out how to exploit the system for his benefit before it’s too late. The Voice of the World is the first part of what is planned to be a multi-book, Isekai LitRPG story with crafting elements, set in the fantasy world known as Verdania. This is my first time posting online for public consumption, so bear with me as I work to find a style that people like. While I may occasionally write scenes that may deal with heavy concepts, expect this story to be primarily light hearted high fantasy. There will be a lot of common fantasy tropes involved, as this story got its start as a simple practice exercise, rather than any plan to actually post it. However, it’s grown on me, so I felt it’s worth sharing after all. Thus, if you’re looking for more serious/original/unusual stories, you might want to look elsewhere. For the rest of you, feel free to leave suggestions, as well as to point out grammar and spelling mistakes; I’ll do my best to make edits to correct them. I do my own editing currently, and it’s easy to miss things when you know what’s supposed to be there, so such call outs are highly encouraged. Content TLDR: No harems, probably no romance (unless it makes sense for the story later on) (it did, eventually), definitely no sex (keeping this PG-13 or close to it), limited profanity. Does/Will contain mixes of magic and technology (think Warhammer, Final Fantasy); copious amounts of blue tables; race, gender, and sexual equality concepts; crafting sequences; and (slightly, but not overbearingly) strong protagonists. If you don’t like these things, go elsewhere instead of downvoting people for content instead of writing quality. Update Time currently varies, due to personal injury, but the goal is 1/week on Wednesdays, with a possible smaller chapter on weekends if time/health permits.
