My first interview is today. Ruth's funeral is right after. My parents flew in and Walt is still creepily fascinated with me. Even though we're about twenty years maybe thirty, older and I've gained probably twenty pounds. Jimmy got married and has a wonderful family but Walt is still living with Aunt Martha. He said as soon as he got here, that a baby on my hip was the hottest thing he's ever seen. I cringed and patted his cheek.

I'm in what used to be Morris' office with Karen when the phone rings.

"Hello, Stevie?" The guy asks.

"Yes Hi," I answer.

"You were supposed to be here today for a big announcement, but your not. I hope everything is okay." He says.

"Well, Sadly my mother in law passed away on the second so we're out in San Francisco," I say.

"Oh, I'm sorry. How's Lindsey doing?" He questions.

"Well, Lindsey's okay, It was hard the first couple of day but I think we're all glad that we had been here. Lindsey, myself, both of his sisters in law and his brother and all twelve of the grandkids came out for Christmas. My family was supposed to leave yesterday. I would've flown out to New York to be with you guys and he would've taken the kids back home. But that's obviously been changed." I explain.

"You were with her, which is the important part."

"Right." I nod, though he can't see me,

"So you had another baby, number four is it? What is the baby like? Has she gone easy on mom?"

"She's a great baby. Eight months old, she's saying mama and dada, nanas which stands for bananas. We have an Afghan hound named Brenwen that she calls Wen." I explain.

"So, I know you probably have a lot to do, so my last question, what was your good news?"

"Well, I have a new album in the works. It's called Trouble In Shang-ri La. And it will be released on May first." I explain.

"Do you know your first single?" He asks.*

"I do, but I haven't done anything with it yet, It's the first thing I'm doing when I get back to LA," I explain.

"Alright, thank you. Stevie." He ends.

"Shorter than I thought." Karen mumbles.

"I'm honestly glad. I have so much to do," I sigh.

"Why did you take on most of the funeral arrangements?" Karen asks.

"I was the first daughter in law. I kind of feel obligated. Ruth and Lindsey took care of all of it when His father died. Meredith went through it seven years ago with Greg. I feel like I owe it to them." I shrug.

"You can't do everything." Karen states.

"I can damn well try."

After Ruth's funeral, we were lounging in the living room when my mom speaks up.

"Teedee, You'll be married for twenty- three years. I think after all the shit you and Lindsey have been through, you should renew your vows." My mom says.

"YES! That way we could be there." Christi cheers.

"It's a good idea but how are you going to pull it off in twenty days. It took us a year to plan the first one which was literally not even ten people." I sigh.

"Mother, leave that to us." A gleam glows in Sara's eyes as all of the females including Aunt Martha go into another room.

"Should we snoop?" Lindsey asks.

"Of Course not, we'll let them have their fun. Mason, will you go check on Emmeline?" I ask leaning into Lindsey's side and laying my head on his shoulders. Knees to my chest.

"We're renewing our vows." I laugh.

"I never would've thought of that." He smiles rubbing my arms.

Two days later Sara and Christi are weaving me in and out of stores looking for the perfect dress.

"Why do you want me in white. I'm not a virgin. I have a twenty-year-old and a sixteen-year-old, an eleven-year-old, and an eight-month-old?" I ask.

"The principle mom. Come on one more shop." Sara pulls me into a shop with a bunch of fancy dresses. My eye immediately darts to a dress with a black top and a white poofy skirt.

"Do they have your size? Let's look?" Sara cheers.

"Baby, I don't' even know what my size is anymore. Margi just writes down measurements and makes my outfits." I roll my eyes.

We eventually find it and I go show them.

"Stevie it's gorgeous." Christi smiles.

"It hides my pouch." I chuckle.

"Your pouch?" Sara asks.

"I have a kangaroo pouch from Emmeline that won't go away no matter how much I diet or exercise" I sigh.

"Well, you look great. Do you think you could put like a white blazer on over it?" Sara asks.

"Tan maybe?" Christi chimes in.

"Tan. I'll pay for this you go into Macy's and look. I'll meet you there. I want to go into the jewelry store next door. I think it's time for me to get Linsdey a wedding ring." I state.

"I always wondered why he never wore a wedding ring." Christi looks at me.

"When we got married, all we could afford was my wedding band and engagement ring. It's small but it means so much to me." I say holding out my left hand. I've taken to wearing my original set when I'm out and about then I wear the other expensive and extravagant one for work.

"It is very small but it's so pretty." Christi smiles taking my hand.

"It really is." I sigh.

"So are you going to get silver or gold?" Sara asks.

"I don't know. I guess we'll see when we get there." I chuckle.

"Do you know his ring size?" Christi asks.

"No, do you know Jeff's Ring size, their hands are about the same size." I look at her hopefully.

"Yes, and if it's a little different you can always get it sized," Christi explains.

"Yeah, Sara go into Macy's. Aunt Christi and I will meet you there." I tell my daughter.

"Alright." Sara smiles collecting her stuff.

At the jewelers Christi and I are looking at the man rings when a clerk walks over to us.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of Stevie Nicks being in my shop?" He asks.

"I'm having trouble. When my husband and I got married we couldn't afford for him to have a wedding ring and I have a gold set. But for our tenth, he got me a very nice goldish-silver diamond ring. I want to get him a wedding ring as it's been almost twenty-five years of marriage, but I don't know if I should get him silver or gold." I express.

"Well what ring do you wear more?" he asks.

"I guess they're equally worn." I shrug.

"Well then get him white gold." He says pulling out a case.

"Oh Christi." I say pointing at one. It's just the perfect ring for Lindsey.

She's muttering a number while I stare at the ring. He takes it out and looks at it before putting it in a black velvet box. I hand him my card and oogle at the ring.

"He said it's ten karats white gold." Christi smiles as I sign my name...Stephanie Buckingham...It's always odd having to check myself because ninety-five percent of the time I sign Stevie Nicks, but our money is under my married name.

"Thank you ...have a nice day." The clerk yells.

"Christi I didn't think I'd be this excited." I chuckle.

For Sara's twenty-first Lindsey takes her to a bar that we hit up a lot when we were younger. And finally, our twenty-third wedding anniversary.

We were surprised. Everyone pulled it together nicely. There were white roses and candles and fairy lights. Christine McVie was even there. By the time we got to the rings, I gave Jeff my silver-goldish ring and Lindsey's. He had a grateful gleam in his eyes when he gave them back to us. We've gone through so much and going from absolutely no money to a lot of money, makes for some good memories.

"Steph?" Lindsey asks.

"I figured it was time." I chuckle.

"I love it." He smiles as I slide it on his finger, a perfect fit.

During our make-shift reception,Christine comes over to us.

"So where is this pretty little baby girl I've heard so much about?" Christine asks.

"I think she's with Meredith. I'm surprised you came all the way from England." Lindsey chuckles.

"It's not every day that my best friends renew their wedding vows and I had somethings to wrap up at my home here anyway. Now, I am going to play with your perfect little baby." Christine hugs me.

"Still, thank you so much." I smile into her neck.

"Oh and Lindsey, I am so sorry about your mother." Christine smiles sadly.

"Thanks, Chris." He says as she gently squeezes his arm and walks away.

"Mrs. Buckingham, you look more gorgeous now than the day we got married." Lindsey smiles wrapping his arms around me.

"Do you really, like your ring?" I ask playing with it.

"It's a silver band, but it means the world to me. And it's from you so that is even better." He chuckles.

"White gold. But I'm glad." I say.

"I love you." Lindsey chuckles.

"I love you too." I smile
