Lindsey and I somehow miraculously made the appointment on the fourteenth. Baby Buck is doing really well. I've been quite bloated but I've been able to hide everything really well behind my layers of chiffon and my mic stand danglys. We're in DC tonight, It's November twenty-second We'll be going home on the twenty-fifth for Thanksgiving break. We still haven't told the children about their impending sibling. Our anyone else for that matter. I'm roughly around twelve weeks now. Almost four months, and almost out of the miscarriage danger zone. We could find out the gender when we go back on the twenty-seventh but we aren't going to. We didn't with the other three so why start now.
"Lindsey...baby you've got to let me get up," I whine nudging my sleeping husband who has me in a vice grip.
"Mm...no." Lindsey mumbles.
"Lindsey, you're baby is using my bladder as a squeeze toy." I hiss hitting him.
"I'm sorry." Lindsey jolts letting me crawl out of bed.
When I return to bed Lindsey is eyeing me.
"What?" I ask
"Steph, stand up. Come towards me." I do as he says and goes around the foot of the bed to get to his side.
"Now what?" I cross my arms.
"Uncross your arms and turn to the right." He commands.
"Lindsey, this is ridiculous I want to go back to bed, what is going on?" I ask stomping my foot.
"Angel, you're showing." Lindsey chuckles.
"What?" I ask looking down, my hands going to my stomach.
"Baby, couldn't you see it in the bathroom mirror?" Lindsey asks.
"I didn't look." I tear up shaking my head.
"Oh Angel," He chuckles taking me into his arms.
While Lindsey is in the shower I lay on the bed and gently caress my stomach.
"Oh, my sweet angel. I've failed as a mother with your brothers and sister. I've done some horrible things. It's going to be so different. I love you so much, sweetheart. I'm going to be the best mother you could've ever asked for." I say to the baby.
All of a sudden Lindsey's back in bed laying perpendicular to me kissing my stomach.

"I love you both so much." Lindsey smiles.
We lay like that for a while and then we see a camera flash. I whip my head around to see Karen.
"Awe, Look at your little belly. Baby Buckingham is making an appearance." Karen coos.
"You know we really have to stop giving you a key. What if I had been naked or we were having sex?" Lindsey questions as I lightly hit him on the back.
"I don't know, you probably would've scarred my brain," Karen smirks.
"I suppose we have to tell the band now?" Lindsey questions.
"No, we tell our families at Thanksgiving and then we tell the band when we go back to work," I say shaking my head.
"Well, we have to be at the venue in two and a half hours. I'll be back to get you in two hours. You better be ready." She warns.
"Alright, we'll be ready." I smile up at her.
She walks out and I turn to Lindsey.
"What?" He asks.
"I just love you and I love this little dove," I say
"Do you still think it's a little girl?" Lindsey asks.
"Yeah." I nod
"Are you sure you don't want to find out?" Lindsey states.
"I'm sure," I say
"Alright, but don't be upset if we have another boy." Lindsey states.
"Would I ever?" I ask getting up and going to my suitcase. I grab a pair of jeans and an oversized black three quarter length sleeve top.
"Lindsey, I can't button my jeans," I say yanking at the buttons.
"Angel, you didn't pack maternity clothes?" Lindsey asks.
"I didn't think I was going to need them this early." I shrug laying on the bed trying my force my jeans closed.
"Stevie, it's number four." Lindsey scolds.
"I realize." I sigh.
"Do you have a skirt or something?"
"Yes, but I sure as hell will not be wearing it. We are in DC in November. It's cold out" I groan.
"Steph, you have two options, wear the skirt or go with your jeans open." Lindsey scolds.
"Fine, but tomorrow we go shopping." I hiss grabbing the skirt.

Arriving at the venue, I immediately go to wardrobe. Karen hot on my heels.
"Please zip," I say sucking into the best of my ability. I wasn't ready to change outfits just yet.
"Suck in. It' s almost up." Karen groans.
"I am. I can't go anymore." I groan.
"Well at least your hair will cover the back, After Thanksgiving, you are most definitely going to have to change your dress." Karen sighs.
"I know...Dove, you're making it awful difficult for mommy." I say patting my belly.
***
That night, while performing I made certain to play with my mic dangles. If someone gets me at just the right angle, my secret will be out.
Thanksgiving came quickly and there are currently about twenty people sitting at our dining room table. Me, Lindsey, our three children, my mom, dad, brother, Lori, Jessie, Ruth, Merridth, Joey, Stella, Greg Jr, Jeff, Christi, Cory, Brooke, Paige, Chloe, Christine McVie, and Karen. Every Thanksgiving we go around the table and say what we're thankful for.
"Stevie, since your hosting this year you can start." My dad nods.
"No, I want to go last," I say sternly.
"Well alright then." My dad chuckles.
When it gets to me, my hands are sweaty and my heart is pounding.
"Alright Teedee, you wanted to go last: My mother looks at me.
"This year, I am thankful for two things. I am thankful that Fleetwood Mac is doing well, and Lindsey is back with the band. Those ten years without him were miserable. But I am also thankful for all FOUR of my Baby Buckingham's." I smile.
Everyone cheers, but Sara gets above the noise. "Mom! How far along are you?"
"I am thirteen weeks along. The baby is healthy so far. I'm scheduled for a C-Section on May twenty-fourth but the doctor says that if Dove decides to come earlier, I can deliver them naturally. But it will be a hard labor." I explain.
"Stevie I am so happy for you," Christine says getting up and hugging me.
"When did you find out?" Christi, my sister-in-law asks.
"We've known since my birthday." Lindsey chimes in.
"Well, with that finally out, let's eat. Baby Buck and I are starved." I announce
Throughout dinner, I watch Joshua. He's distant. So when he goes to bed, I follow him.
"Joshua." I gently knock.
"GO away." He calls.
"Excuse me? I gave birth to you. You don't get to tell me to go away." I state walking into his room.
"It's just, it's odd. I'm ten, Sara is almost twenty. That's a huge age gap." Josh sighs.
"Hey, Destiny rules and Destiny has no timelines. If I could've had a baby five years ago I would've. It wasn't' the right time. Destiny chose now to give us this gift. And it's such a special gift. If you're worried that your dad and I won't love you anymore, you're wrong." I nudge him.
"I know. You love Sara, Mason and I equally. But babies are gross and uncool." He wrinkles his nose.
"Uncool huh, well just for that...you're going to change every single diaper," I say.
"Mom no, anything but that." He looks panicked.
"I'll think about it. Are you too big for your momma to tuck you in?" I ask. He thinks for a minute and then smiles at me.
"Alright, just tonight though." He shrugs. So I do.
But what surprises me the most, is as I'm crawling out of his bed his hand grazes my stomach and lightly pats it. It's a small gesture but I completely warms my heart.
"How'd it go with Josh?" Lindsey asks as I crawl into bed.
"Babies are gross and uncool," I say.
"Gross, yes. Uncool...I'm not sure." Linsdey says.
"They are not gross, they're little tiny people." I pout.
"Steph, I delivered Josh. He was covered in blood and white gunk not to mention what your lower half looked like. It was traumatizing." Lindsey states.
"Hey, ...we aren't talking about my private parts. Every baby is. You were." I point to him.
"So...it was gross." Lindsey chuckles.

System Change
Years ago, Earth was indoctrinated into the "System." Earth was not the only place with the System, however. With the System came the other races, Invaders. The Invaders had one goal, to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. This created a bloodbath, and for years the war raged. This didn't really have much to do with Derek. Derek was kind of a loner. Yeah, he enjoyed the occasional chat or drink with others, but he never stayed in one place too long or really got to know anybody new. Derek did happen to be rather strong. After the years of fighting monster and Invaders alone, he had become quite adept at surviving. One thing that helped keep him alive was his refusal to get involved with others. He rarely cooperated with teams. One day, Derek broke his rules and decided to lend some help, as the mission didn't seem too hard. He should have stuck to being alone. Hey everyone, this is my fiction, "System Change." It's the first time I've really tried to write a serial. All feedback is really appreciated. I plan to release chapters every Tuesday and Thursday. With occasional extra chapters being released. I will try to maintain a word count between 1500-2500 words per chapter. Thank you! I just made a Discord if anyone wants to join.

The Voice of the World
Jason Elric used to be an ordinary college student living in the heart of San Francisco. He had a part time job, he played online games with friends he got along moderately well with, and he earned reasonably good grades. The worst he really had to worry about in life was turning in his coursework on time and not being late to class. Now, though? Now fighting for his life and running from a horde of giant frogs that want to make him their next meal is just another Tuesday. Thanks to a summoning ritual gone terribly right, Jason has found himself trapped in a world eerily similar to the role playing games games he used to play for fun. Unfortunately for the now ex-college student, everything happening around him is terrifyingly real and if he wants to survive, he’ll have to figure out how to exploit the system for his benefit before it’s too late. The Voice of the World is the first part of what is planned to be a multi-book, Isekai LitRPG story with crafting elements, set in the fantasy world known as Verdania. This is my first time posting online for public consumption, so bear with me as I work to find a style that people like. While I may occasionally write scenes that may deal with heavy concepts, expect this story to be primarily light hearted high fantasy. There will be a lot of common fantasy tropes involved, as this story got its start as a simple practice exercise, rather than any plan to actually post it. However, it’s grown on me, so I felt it’s worth sharing after all. Thus, if you’re looking for more serious/original/unusual stories, you might want to look elsewhere. For the rest of you, feel free to leave suggestions, as well as to point out grammar and spelling mistakes; I’ll do my best to make edits to correct them. I do my own editing currently, and it’s easy to miss things when you know what’s supposed to be there, so such call outs are highly encouraged. Content TLDR: No harems, probably no romance (unless it makes sense for the story later on) (it did, eventually), definitely no sex (keeping this PG-13 or close to it), limited profanity. Does/Will contain mixes of magic and technology (think Warhammer, Final Fantasy); copious amounts of blue tables; race, gender, and sexual equality concepts; crafting sequences; and (slightly, but not overbearingly) strong protagonists. If you don’t like these things, go elsewhere instead of downvoting people for content instead of writing quality. Update Time currently varies, due to personal injury, but the goal is 1/week on Wednesdays, with a possible smaller chapter on weekends if time/health permits.
