Putting up flyers helped. We were bombarded with people. All except Stephanie.

"Dude are you sure you called her?" Bob questions. It's nearing noon.

"Yes, I am positive." I spit jugging my beer. I really hate these people.

"Lindsey!" I hear. I whip around and sitting in a black Mustang is Stephanie and a girl with dark hair.

"Stephanie you made it," I say a little too excitedly.

"I hope you don't mind, I brought Robin. She's not singing though." Stephanie smiles.

"Well, what have you prepared?" Javi asks eyeing her up.

A growl bubbles in my throat but I swallow it down. She was wearing a pair of high waisted bell bottoms a pair of very high brown leather boots. A white Obie's shirt with no bra on the top of her, leaving little to the imagination. She tightens the black leather jacket up around her shoulders as she steps out of the Mustang trying to fight against the chilly wind.

She sings a song about braids. I think something like Golden Braids was the title, but I was too busy admiring her to listen to the song.

"Alright, you're hired. After the Christmas Holiday, we rehearse. We're going to festivals this summer. One thing of importance. We sing MY songs. MY songs only. When we decide to reconvince, I'll have Lindsey call you." Javi states.

"Alright! Thank you." She smiles.

"You're welcome." Javi gives a greasy grin.

"I'll look forward to your call." Stephanie places her hand on my chest.

"Enjoy your Holiday Stephanie." I smile and slightly tremble at the touch.

"Please, everyone calls me Stevie." She smiles.

"Stevie." I nod.

When she and Robin are gone, Cal pulls me aside.

"You're smitten aren't' you?" He asks.

"Have been since I first met her," I admit.

"Snap her up, Javi is eyeing her," Cal warns.

"Alright, well I've gotta go we drive to Aunt Martha's tonight," I announce.

"Oh, enjoy your Christmas with the reigning queen bitch." Bob winces.

"I'll try. Endless talk about my love life and why I decided not to go to college." I roll my eyes and walk away.
