o you've always been alive just like hid in a cave or something?" Asher asked her uncle as they walked out of Zachary's house. "It wasn't a cave but yeah, I got into some trouble with the volturi and the gaurdian council." Richard told his niece has they headed for Jeremy's. "Volturi? You know the Volturi?" Asher asked confused since they never mentioned her uncle.
"I was sent on a mission to kill them but instead I joined them, the council showed up realized I betrayed them and banished me to Isola Del Traditore." Richard explained as they sat on the stairs outside Jeremy's house. "Betrayor Island, that's a real place? Mom would always tell Addison and i stories about the bad place whenever we misbehaved." Asher said with a small chuckle. "Its very real and a bad place, your mother was probably trying to scare you two into not betraying the rules." Richard said, "you two look just like her." He then said smiling st the thought of his little sister.
"I miss her and dad, when I thought addi was dead I felt lost like a piece of me was ripped out." Asher said Richard was the first person other than Bella that knew how lost she was without Addison, "but she's alive right?" Richard asked putting his arm around his niece. "Yeah she's alive per say, the Volturi took her and changed her, I don't know if they saved her or took her life away." Asher grumbled, she had no issue with Addison being a vampire, she has an issue with the fact it was the Volturi that did it, she'd much rather have Carlisle or Alice change Addison if she wanted it.
"You'll never know if you don't ask her what happened." Richard said, "I know I'm just scared of the answer, mostly because I don't want the question to freak her out and make her distant." Asher said with a huff rubbing her face as her phone continued to buzz like it had been doing since Zachary 'zapped' her to his house, it was no doubt Paul, or one of the other pack members.

"Maybe I should go talk to her." Asher suggested, "talk to who?" A female voice asked the two turned and saw Addison walking up Jeremy's driveway with Alice. "Uh- Alice, could I steal my sister for a late breakfast?" Asher asked standing up. "I dont-"
"Yes of course, go have fun babe, I love you." Alice chirped pushing her girlfriend to Asher, Asher sent the small vampire a smile before taking her sister's hand, "want to join us Uncle Richard?" Asher said watching as Addison's eyes widened speeding over to her uncle hugging him, the man chuckled, "i'd love too."

The twins and their uncle Richard sat together silently in a café on the reservation, Asher had called the pack telling them she was fine and bringing her sister on the reservation but just to go to the café.
"How are you alive? Mom told us you died." Addison said from beside her sister staring at her uncle. "I was locked away, in Isola Del Traditore, I only recently got out today actually." Richard said, "Betrayor Island, it's real?" Addison asked looking from her sister to her uncle. "Very real and a very bad place, you two need to be careful." Richard warned, "they can't do anything to me, I'm a vampire I never got my training or first rune, I'm still 17, will be forever." Addison said.
"How'd it happen?" Asher blurted out as she played with her fingers. "How did what happen?" Addison asked confused on the sudden question. "How did this happen?" Asher said motioning to Addison, "how were you changed, the only thing you told me was why you didn't leave the Volturi. Please just open up to me?" Asher said using a whisper since the café was a bit crowded.

Addison took a breath she knew she wasn't going to be able to hide what happened for long. "After the car crash I was barely left alive, I knew mom and dad were gone by the way their heads were turned. My vision was blurred I could barely see the two people that tried to "help me" I could make out hair color, the man was blonde, and the woman was a redhead." Addison started James and Victoria were the first names to come to Asher's head. "But there was another man, blonde as well, he tore off the door and gave me this wicked smile telling me how I was perfect, just was the guard needs, and that it'll be all over soon. He came at me with this crazy speed and everything went black." Addison finished.
The three sat in silence.
"That means the cops were never really called, that means the woman on the phone was Victoria, she's the one that helped me and got Charlie to adopt me. I've been apart of Victoria's plan all along. But what is her plan? And how did she know my family were going to be killed? Unless their death played apart in her plan." Asher told herself. Victoria had been after Asher for a while that's all Asher knew and she was determined to know more.
"Two coffees? Are you sure you don't want anything miss?" A grumpy female voice startled Asher out of her thoughts she looked up and saw Leah putting down the coffees, "Thank you Leah." Asher told the girl with a smile, "anything for my favorite redhead." Leah said a smile finding it's way on the short haired girl's face. "You two know each other?" Addison asked confused, the Clearwater siblings were never apart of Asher or Addison's life when they were younger, they only knew their parents from small meet up their parents would have with them. "Yeah, is that a problem? You're not even allowed on the reservation." Leah growled visibly startling Addison.
"L it's fine I brought her here, she's technically not a Cullen." Asher reminded, Leah just nodded and walked away. "Sorry about that." Asher said Addison nodded, "what was that about?" Addison asked, "Alice hasn't told you about the treaty?" Asher asked surprised that her sisters girlfriend didn't tell her a vital piece of information. "She said stay away from the dog stench."
"Well a long time ago the Cullens and the Quileute Wolf pack made a treaty, the wolves won't expose them as long as they stay off their land. You're obviously and acception since Sam can't tell me no and he also know even if he tells me no I'll do it anyway." Asher stated.
"You are your mother's children, stubborn as ever."

Avine: The Journey
Avine, the name recorded in the oldest records of faith concerning the creation of the world. The lands of Avine are in turmoil. A lengthy war recently ended. Casualties were terrible, but not limited to the dead alone. Breakdowns occurred in society, and kingdoms struggled with civil unrest and a never-ending stream of refugees. Mariel Bluegale has lived a relatively uneventful life. Largely sheltered from prejudice by her parents Serin and Arwaro, she grew up in a kingdom that prospered thanks to its strictly neutral policy. But the winds of war are once more on the horizon. Peace is merely the prelude to a new, even bigger conflict, one which may be decided on the identity of one. Release schedule: One chapter a week for the forseeable future. Reality caught up with me, this means I have to scale back my writing time considerably. I promise to finish it, but it will be in pieces, and likely around holidays. As always, any -painful- errors (spelling, flow, consistency or time) please let me know.

A New Beginning
Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. Buried underneath that, however, is a young child who is scared and confused, a child that hasn't seen the light of day in years.
