《I Like Selena Gomez || Taelena Fanfiction (Taehyung x Selena Gomez)》Chapter 61

I sucked in a sharp breath as my mom tightened my dress, making sure it wasn't loose.
"M-mom, I don't know... I'm really nervous. What if I pass out in the middle of the isle?" I stuttered, my breathing ragged.
She giggled, "Don't worry, honey. When the doors open, make sure not to think too much. Just focus on him, alright?"
I nodded, staring at myself in the mirror. My hair was styled a bit curly, a hair clip on the side.
(Like this)
I held some flowers in my hand which shook from my nervousness.
Selena, pull it together. Today is a very important day.
"Take some deep breaths, Selena. You'll be alright." Mom reassured me, rubbing my back.
"Thank you, mom." I smiled at her, which she returned.
"Ahh my daughter is getting married. I'm so happy." She pulled me into a hug, sobbing a bit.
"Mom, we should probably get going. They're waiting." I giggled.
"Okay, Gracie! You got this." I gave her a thumbs up as she held the little basket full of rose petals.
She returned the thumbs up, smiling brightly. She walked out of the building towards the large field with the arch.
Everyone's eyes were on her as she took petals out, throwing them on the ground. Once she got to the end, she looked up at Taehyung with a smile.
He looked back down at her, returning the smile. He bent down to her level and gave her a quick hug.
She returned it and walked back over to stand beside Taylor and Victoria, the bridesmaids.
"Okay, are you ready?" Mom asked me. I took in a deep breath. "I'm ready." I responded.
She lead me out the building, interlocking our arms together.
It was just by the lake and the sky was a bit dark, but not too much. Lights were hung up by the chairs which faced the wedding arch.
Once we walked out of the building, the cold breeze immediately hit my cheeks. My heart was beating so fast.
Mom's arm gripped tightly with mine and she passed me a reassuring smile.
We began to walk towards the aisle, everyone soon turning to look at us.
In that moment, Taehyung's eyes met mine. My lips parted some as I admired how handsome he truly was.
He had the same look on his face as he continued to stare into my eyes from afar, seeming to admire me.
His eyes traveled from my hair to my lips, to my nose, then lastly to my eyes.
His eyes traveled to my dress, a smile forming on his lips.
"Okay honey, you ready?" Mom whispered, to which I nodded.
My hair flowed with the breeze as mom walked me down the aisle. I looked to my left and right, seeing all our family members and friends staring at us with a warm smile.
I noticed Sumi and Chanwoo, then Oliver and Amayah.
They actually made it?
I looked towards me and saw Victoria and Taylor, who were already crying tears.
I giggled and faced back to Taehyung who's eyes were still on me. He was... breathless? Astonished? I don't really know, but he looked as if he was in some kind of shock.
Next to him stood his father and the boys as his groomsmen. They passed me the biggest smiles and I gladly returned it.
Once we reached the end of the aisle, mom placed a peck on my cheek.
I nervously walked in front of Taehyung, looking up at him.
He looked down at me, a warm smile on his face, along with some tears.

The pastor stood beside us, beginning to speak.
Because of the language differences, we got someone who is both fluent in Korean and English so they could firstly speak in Korean, then English.
He began to speak in Korean. "Friends, we have joined here today to share with Taehyung and Selena an important moment in their lives. Their time together, they have seen their love and understanding of each other grow and blossom and now they have decided to live out the rest of their lives as one." He spoke, then translating it to English.
"You have chosen to write your vows, and it is with these words you express your binding promises to love, honor, and cherish one another. If you are ready to make these promises to each other I invite you now to face each other and declare your intentions."
"Taehyung, when you're ready, you may begin."
Taehyung stared deep into my eyes for a minute. "I do not have my vows written, so I will just speak from my heart," he said, "Selena... I know for some, it was a bit soon. But I am 100% sure about this, there is no doubt in me. When I am with you, I feel loved, I feel appreciated. I know that you would never intentionally hurt me and I would never do that to you, either. I've made mistakes in the past, I admit that. But as you told me, it's best to move on. I love you with all my heart, you are my everything." He stared into my eyes, some tears clouding his.
I passed him a warm smile, my heart starting to beat really fast.
"Selena, when you're ready, you may begin."
"I honestly never expected for all of this to happen so soon. But I'm very thankful it did. Taehyung, you taught me many things ever since I first met you. How to defend myself and begin to love myself for who I was. You're every girls dream guy, and I got lucky enough to have someone like you in my life," I began, "I want nothing more than to continue my life with you until eternity. You are the love of my life." I finished, smiling, yet tears started clouding my vision just like his.
His eyes sparkled as the tears slowly started streaming down his face.
"Thank you for sharing your vows with all of us. The rings you are about to place on each other's fingers are symbols of the love you expressed. They will remind you of the vows you have just spoken, and of the eternal love that you have for one another." The priest spoke. I saw Brian bring the rings over to us, a smile on his face.
"Taehyung, place the ring on Selena's finger and repeat after me."
Taehyung took the ring, gently sliding it onto my finger.
"As this ring encircles your finger... From this moment forward... So will my love forever encircle you... You will never walk alone... My heart will be your shelter... My arms will be your home... We will walk thru life as partners & best friends... I promise to do my best to love, cherish and accept you... Just the way you are... I give you my heart until the end of time... I have no greater gift to give." Taehyung repeated his words, stuttering at some points.
"Now, Selena, place the ring on Taehyung's finger and repeat after me."
I took the other ring and slid it onto his finger just as he did with me.

I repeated the same words, holding his hand gently as I did so.
"By the power given to me, I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss the bride."
Taehyung smiled before bringing me into a loving and passionate kiss, his hand resting on my cheek. Everyone cheered and clapped as I kissed him back.
"Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to present for the first time, Mr and Mrs Kim!" The priest exclaimed.
We both pulled away and turned around to everyone with the biggest smiles on our faces.
Actually, a lot of people were crying, including Taehyung's parents and my mom, even Brian.
They stood up and walked over to us, giving us big hugs.
"You're so beautiful." His mother whispered. I giggled and hugged her tightly, which she returned.
His dad gave me a hug and I returned that as well.
Once mom gave me a hug, she started crying on my shoulder. "Mom, why are you crying?" I chuckled.
"My daughter just got married, of course I'll cry." She sobbed. I giggled and pecked her cheek.
After everyone congratulated us, the boys walked up to us.
Some of their eyes were red, they must've been crying. I pouted and gave them big tight hugs.
"Thank you." Jungkook whispered in my ear as we hugged. "For what?" I asked him. "For making him happy." He responded.
The way they support each other is so adorable.
I placed a kiss on his cheek. Not in a weird way, he's like a little brother to me.
"Of course, koo." I warmly smiled at him.
"NOW WHO'S READY TO PARTY?!" We suddenly heard Victoria exclaim.
"Vic!" I whined. She just shrugged her shoulders. "Someone had to say it."
We all giggled and Taehyung took my hand, giving me a kiss on my lips.
"Okay, you two! Now let's get photos." Mom exclaimed happily.
She asked one of her friends to take the photo and us and our family members stood beside us, Taehyung wrapping his arm around me.
Mom's friend took the photo and I immediately called the boys over.
"I want photos with you guys, too!" I smiled like a child.
They looked at one another with smiles on their faces, nodding in return.
They stood beside us and mom's friend took the photo once again.
After the photos were taken, we all made our way to the reception area.
Victoria and Taylor did as they said and decorated the whole place perfectly.
Everyone let out gasps at how beautifully it was decorated. They started to drop off their presents at the table and everyone was seated.
Different music started playing and Taehyung took my hand, leading me to the middle of the room.
"W-wait, we have to dance?" I accidentally stuttered. He chuckled and nodded, putting both of his hands on my back while I wrapped mine around his neck.
We slowly danced to the music as everyone watched us. It was kinda awkward having all eyes on you, but I've been through it many times so it wasn't that bad.
He stared at me lovingly, his cheeks tinted a faint pink color. I spotted mom along with Taehyung's parents recording and giggled.
Once the dance was over, we were seated at the head table. Apparently it was time for people to make some speeches.
Brian gave a welcome speech to everyone, thanking them for coming.
"If anyone would like to share some words, please raise your hand." He spoke.
I saw some people raise their hands, mostly my family and some of Taehyung's family members.
But what caught my attention was Taylor. Brian called her upon the stage first and she started to speak.
"Firstly, I want to congratulate Selena and Taehyung. You two are the cutest couple. I just wanted to say that I've known you Selena ever since we were just teenagers, now you're married," she began, her voice cracking a bit, "I'm so happy that I was a part of this wedding, setting up the decorations with Victoria; thank you two for allowing us to do that. If you guys need anything, absolutely anything, know that I'm here for the both of you and you have my unconditional support." She smiled.
Tears welled up in my eyes for probably the thousandth time today. Taehyung mouthed her a 'thank you' and she walked off the stage.
Once he saw how I reacted, he grabbed my hand and squeezed it, passing me a gentle smile.
"Would anyone else like to share some words?" Brian asked.
Namjoon raised his hand and Brian called him up on the stage.
"I came here today with love in my heart for the both of you. Just like Taylor said to Selena; I've known Taehyung since we were teenagers. I've actually been a fan of Selena for years, as well as Taehyung," he chuckled, "so I would've ever expected something like this to happen. But I am very happy it did, because as you can tell, they both go together very well. Me, along with the others, are very happy for the both of you." He finished and walked off the stage.
This time Taehyung teared up so I held his hand tighter. I gave Namjoon a wide smile which he returned.
After everyone else was finished sharing some words, it was time to eat.
The workers settled down some food on our tables that we had requested for them to make. It was a mix of both American and Korean foods.
We started eating and Victoria walked over to us. "Soooo, how do you like everything?" She smiled.
"It's amazing, thanks, Vic." I thanked her. She laughed. "No problem, congrats you two." She grinned and walked away.
The boys walked up to us and congratulated us and we all started to talk.
Sumi suddenly walked up to us with Chanwoo with smiles on their faces.
"Hey, guys!" She smiled. "Hey! Oh my gosh!" I smiled at them and my eyes directed to her belly.
She giggled. "I know! Just a month left. Crazy, right?"
"Can I feel?" I asked. "Of course!" She responded.
I felt her stomach and suddenly I felt a kick just where my hand was placed. I smiled and giggled. "I swear this baby is going to be a soccer player when he grows up." She groaned.
"He?" I raised my eyebrows. "Oh, yeah! It's a boy." She smiled.
"Well, you got just what you wanted." I chuckled. She and Chanwoo nodded in amusement, laughing.
"Can I feel, too?" Taehyung asked. Sumi nodded. "Yeah, of course, Tae." She chuckled.
He put his hand gently on her stomach, but didn't feel a kick. "I don't think he likes you very much." I told him. He frowned at me.
"Actually, he kicks a lot, especially when someone puts their hand on my stomach." She giggled.
I put my hand back on her stomach once again and felt another kick. Taehyung whined and placed his hand on her stomach again, but felt nothing once again. "Seriously?" He whined.
After maybe thirty or forty minutes, it was time to dance again.
Brian stood up and took my hand as Taehyung took his mother's hand.
We danced for a while and pretty soon everyone joined in. Jimin and Jungkook were going pretty crazy as we all watched. Namjoon shook his head and faceplamed, like always.
Soon the music slowed down and it was time to cut the cake. Taehyung and I made our way over to the stand and cut it. We fed each other the pieces and he giggled as some got on my nose.
Different types of desserts were delivered to each table as we ate some cake.
After eating dessert, we started to take pictures with each other's family members and friends. Everyone else was either still eating or dancing.
For some reason, Taehyung had just disappeared. I had no idea where he was. So, I wandered off towards the bathrooms because maybe he was there.
As I got closer, I heard quiet sobs from the men's bathroom. After listened for a couple seconds, I recognized it was Taehyung.
I opened the door and saw him standing at the sink while crying.
He turned around and wiped his tears. "S-Selena?" He asked.
I pulled him in for a hug, gently caressing his back. "What's wrong?" I asked as he continued to sob on my shoulder.
"I-I just miss my grandmother. She would've been so happy for us, she would've loved you." He cried.
"Tae, I'm sure she is happy. She's probably watching over you right now and I'm sure she's proud," I told him, "she's probably so proud of how far you've come, Tae. Cry as much as you want, it's alright." I reassured him, still rubbing his back.
After a while he calmed down and wiped his tears, letting out a deep breath. I rubbed his cheeks, kissing his nose.
"Now let's go say goodbye to everyone, it's time to go to Daegu, remember?" I smiled. A smile immediately appeared on his face as he nodded.
I grabbed his hand and we exited the bathroom, going over to everyone and bidding them goodbye.
"Bye, mom. I'll make sure to text and call you, alright?" I smiled at her. She nodded. "Enjoy your honeymoon, sweetie." She kissed my forehead.
I hugged Brian and Gracie, kissing her cheek. "See you soon, Gracie." I hugged her. "Bye, sissy." She smiled.
Taehyung picked her up and hugged her, which she returned. "We'll see you soon, alright?" He smiled at her, to which she nodded. "Okay, TaeTae." She smiled.
I smiled at them and hugged Taehyung's parents who congratulated us.
I gave all the boys bear hugs. "I'll message you guys, alright?" I smiled at them. "Okay. Enjoy your honeymoon, guys." Namjoon smiled.
I suddenly saw Oliver and his wife and ran over to them, giving them big hugs. "I didn't even see you guys!" I exclaimed.
They chuckled. "Congrats, Selena." He congratulated me. "Thank you, Oliver." I thanked him. "We didn't really get to meet very good last time, nice to meet you, Amayah." I smiled softly at her.
"Nice to meet you too, Selena." She smiled back.
"I'll see you guys, congratulations, by the way." I smiled and turned around, spotting Victoria and Taylor.
They immediately hugged me. "We'll see you, Selena. Enjoy your honeymoon." Taylor smiled.
"Oh trust me, I know they'll enjoy it." Victoria winked. "Vic!" I whined.
She laughed and hugged me. "You know I'm not wrong." She chuckled.
I giggled and bid them goodbye, walking back over to Taehyung and holding his hand.
We walked outside and got in the limousine, waving our last goodbyes to everyone.
Once the driver took off, I let out a sigh. "I can't wait to get out of this thing." I complained.
Taehyung looked at me with a smirk, resting his hand on my thigh. "I can't wait to get you out of it." He smirked.
I widened my eyes and lightly hit his chest. "Weirdo." I mumbled.
"And the driver might hear you." I told him. "He can't hear us, that's why there's a barrier right there." He said, pointing to the transparent barrier between the driver's seat and the back of the limo.
"And anyway, it's our honeymoon. Don't you think we should have fun?" He pouted, laying his head on my shoulder while looking up at me.
I looked down at him and hummed, not really giving him an answer.
He grabbed my hand and intertwined it with his, looking at the rings on our fingers. A smile spread across his lips and he looked back up at me, starting to kiss me.
I kissed him back and laid my head on his shoulder. "I can't believe it." He said, rubbing the back of my hand.
"What?" I asked, looking up at him. He looked back down at me into my eyes, a smile on his face.
"That we're finally married. You're Mrs Kim now." He smiled, kissing my forehead.
I smiled at the thought and held his hand tightly, hiding my face in his neck.
He chuckled and played with my hair. "So where are we going to?" I asked him.
"It's a hotel in Daegu, of course. I talked with Yoongi about it since he's from there like I am. We looked at some hotels and found a good one, so we booked it. We'll stay for about a week and I'll take you to some places I went to growing up." He explained.
I nodded. "I kinda miss my hometown, too." I said.
