Walking downstairs, I heard a knock at the door.

I opened the door only to see Oliver standing there.

"Oh, hey, Oliver. What's up?" I asked.

"I'd like to give everyone a tour of the lake. We have some canoes you can use." He smiled.

"Everyone's still unpacking and getting settled. But I can come and once they're finished, I'll tell them all about it. It saves you some time, anyway." I giggled.

He nodded, a grin on his face.

I walked out of the cabin, closing the door behind me.

"Dad has me working like crazy. I barely get any sleep. He's usually busy since he rents and sells lots of houses." He explained, walking down the lake with me.

"Oh, I'm sorry. You don't have any other job? How old are you?" I asked.

"Nope. Dad wants me to take after him once he's passed with the estate business. I'm 27." He told me, his hands in his pockets.

"We're not too far apart at all. Do you enjoy doing all this work?" I questioned, looking at him.

"Actually, I do. But dad usually makes me take over which is really frustrating. Once my girlfriend and I get married, she said that she'll gladly help." He smiled once he started talking about his girlfriend.

"That's sweet, I'm glad you have her. You seem to really love her, I can tell by the way you talk about her." I smiled.

"I really do, we've been together for about 2 years now. She's been here with me through everything, we were best friends before until she confessed to me." He chuckled.

I smiled in return and we made our way to the dock.

"These are the canoes, you are free to use them whenever you want." He stated, showing me them.

"You know, this lake is hundreds of years old." He spoke, looking out at the peaceful lake.

He sat down at the edge of the dock and I sat beside him, admiring it with him.

"I haven't really seen lake water this clean looking." I chuckled.

He laughed, nodding. "It's a pretty restricted area. There's some fish in the water, but not too many."

"How many people actually live here?" I asked him.

"Well, there's a family down that way. It's probably one of the most expensive cabins around. They've lived here for about 5 years." He told me, pointing to the direction of the cabin.

"And there's an old couple to the right, they've lived here for as long as I can remember." He continued.

"And of course, there's the other cabin, which was rented out by your friends." He chuckled.

"How come you're not all freaked out?" I asked, turning to face him.

"What do you mean?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I mean, by me and them. I've never seen someone so calm before." I laughed.

"I've dealt with celebrity clients before. I mean, I've never been a fan of them as much I am of you, but I think it's best not to freak the celebrities out themselves. It'd probably make them feel better if someone weren't screaming their name at the top of their lungs." He chuckled.

"Wow, you're right. I'd be worried they'd leak where we were at. Honestly, that's what freaks me out. I like to have peace and quiet." I explained, looking back out at the lake and leaning back.

"You and Taehyung are a thing, by the way?" He asked.

"Yep." I smiled, my cheeks heating up a little.

"He's a really good guy, I've heard a lot about him and the rest of BTS. I bet he makes you happy, you seem to really love him." He smiled at me.

"Yeah, just like you and your girlfriend, he's been here with me through a lot. I couldn't imagine myself without him." I smiled like an idiot while I talked about him.

"I'm glad you have someone like him. You deserve it." He smiled.

"Thanks, Oliver." I thanked him, smiling.

Walking back to the cabin, I waved goodbye to Oliver.

He waved back and I opened the door, walking into the cabin.

"Oh, Selena! There you are!" I heard mom say.

I closed the door behind me and turned around to look at her.

"What is it, mom?" I asked.

"Well, me and Jieun have decided to make dinner together. But, we need to get groceries. Would you care to join us?" She asked me.

"Of course I'll join, mom." I smiled.

"I'll go tell Tae, be right back." I said, going up the stairs.

I opened the door to the bedroom and walked in, seeing Taehyung putting his suitcase in the closet.

He looked back at me and stood there with a straight face.

"Tae, I'm going out with mom and Jieun to get groceries." I spoke softly.

But he just simply nodded, not seeming to care.

"Are you alright?" I asked him, seeing he was behaving coldly.

"I'm fine." He quickly responded, but I wasn't convinced.

"No, you're not. What's wrong?" I asked, walking up to him.

"I told you, it's nothing, Selena." He sighed.

I was about to ask him again, but I was interrupted by mom calling me downstairs.

"We'll talk about this when I'm back." I said and grabbed my purse, leaving the room.

What's wrong with him?

I walked down the stairs, seeing Gracie standing at the door with mom and Jieun.

"Sissy! I'm coming with you guys." Gracie giggled.

"It's a girls trip now, I guess." Mom chuckled.

I laughed and made my way to the door.

"Let's just take my car." I said.

Walking outside to my car, I got in the driver's seat, everyone loading in.

Once everyone buckled up, I started the car, driving off.

As I was driving, everyone was goofing off, even Jieun although she couldn't understand some of it.

But for me, Taehyung was on my mind.

Why was he acting so weird? Is something bothering him?

"Earth to Selena." I heard mom say.

"Oh, sorry." I apologized.

"Is something on your mind?" Mom asked.

"It's nothing important." I sighed.

Mom was about to respond, but I pulled into the parking lot of the store and parked the car.

"We're here, everyone." I said.

We all got out of the car and walked into the store.

Mom, Jieun, and Gracie made sure to walk on both sides of me so no one would recognize me.

"Okay guys, what do we need?" I asked.

"We need some chicken." Mom spoke and I nodded.

"And rice." Jieun told me.

I nodded, smiling as we made our way to the frozen meat section.

"Can we get some chocolate?!" Gracie asked.

I chuckled, "If mom says it's okay."

"Mommy, can we get some chocolate?!" Gracie asked mom excitedly.

"Sure, honey." She responded and Gracie jumped up happily.

"But only after dinner. And you can't eat it too late at night, either. We don't want you have a sugar rush." Mom said.

Gracie nodded and I picked up a package of chicken, showing it to mom and Jieun.

They both nodded in approval and I put it in the cart.

Once we were finished shopping, we checked out and put the groceries in the back of my car.

Driving off, we listened to some music and sang the whole time.

When we reached the house, we got out of the car and grabbed the groceries, walking back into the house.

But once we walked in, we saw the guys sitting on the couch, watching TV while drinking beer and laughing.

Mom and Jieun exchanged glances, shaking their heads.

They all turned their heads to us. "You're back!" Brian smiled.

"What are you guys doing?" Mom asked, her hands on her hips.

I took the groceries to the kitchen with Jieun, resting them on the counter.

"Just having a drink." Brian told her.

Mom rolled her eyes, "You guys couldn't wait?"

I chuckled as mom bickered with Brian, but I noticed Taehyung's eyes were on me.

I looked back at him, but he turned his attention back towards the TV, drinking some of his beer.

I rolled my eyes at his behavior, putting some groceries away.

"What's wrong with you two?" Jieun asked in Korean.

"I'm not sure, he's ignoring me." I replied back to her.

"Talk to him about it." She smiled, patting my shoulder.

I nodded and continued to put up the groceries.

"Now Selena, would you like to help us make dinner?" Mom asked.

"Of course." I smiled.

After cooking for a while, we finished and Jieun nodded in approval.

She high-fived mom and I and we laughed, fixing the dishes and placing them on the dinner table.

"Food's ready, everyone!" Mom called.

Gracie ran to the kitchen, sitting down on one of the chairs.

We giggled and the guys sat down in their chairs.

I pushed my hair behind my ear and sat down, Taehyung sitting beside me.

Everyone laughed and joked around while Taehyung and I stayed quiet.

Once everyone was finished eating and spending time together, I helped put the dishes in the sink.

But once I turned around, I flinched, seeing Taehyung sitting down at the island while looking at me.

"Tae, you scared me." I wiped my hands with some paper towels, throwing them away.

He stood up and towered over me, looking down at me.

"What is it?" I asked.

"And why're you acting so cold?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

He stayed silent, just staring at me.

I sighed, grabbing his arm and pulling him to the back door, walking outside to the deck.

We sat down at the porch swing and I looked at him.

"What's bothering you, Tae?" I asked him, furrowing my eyebrows.

He sighed, "I saw you with Oliver." He mumbled.

"Yeah, what about it?" I asked, tilting my head.

He turned his head to the side, "You'd rather spend time with him than me." He mumbled again, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Tae, you know that's not true." I sighed.

He didn't respond, continuing to look away from me.

"Do you like him?" He asked.

"As a friend, yes." I responded.

"Why are you so upset about it, anyway?" I asked.

"What if he tries to make a move on you?!" He suddenly blurted out.

I then bursted out into laughter as he looked at me, confused.

I wiped the tears that formed in my eyes due to laughing so much and he looked at me, clueless.

"What's so funny?" He asked, squinting his eyes at me.

"Aww, is my Tae jealous?" I giggled, scooting over close to him and cupping his cheek with my hand.

"N-no." He blushed, trying to look away, but I didn't let him.

"Tae, he has a girlfriend!" I laughed.

He widened his eyes as I continued to laugh at how jealous he was.

"You're so jealous, Tae. We just had a friendly conversation." I chuckled, pulling him into a kiss.

He pulled me onto his lap, making it easier for us. He kissed me back, his arms wrapping around me.

My arms wrapped around his neck and I smiled into the kiss, my hand traveling to his hair.

We heard the front door slide open so we stopped, looking at who it was.

"What are you two up to this time?" Jieun asked, shaking her head.

"YAH! Eomma, go! Privacy!" Taehyung whined.

She laughed and shook her head once again. "Fine." She gave in, walking back into the house and closing the door.

"So, let's continue?" He smirked.

I nodded, giggling as he pulled me back into another kiss.

After we were finished, I crawled off Taehyung's lap, standing up.

"Let's go." I said, holding my hand out for him to grab.

"Where are we going?" He asked, standing up, limping a little bit.

I helped him stand up properly, wrapping my arm around his waist.

"To the lake." I told him.

We made our way over to the dock and sat down at the edge where Oliver and I sat earlier.

Taehyung looked out at the water, smiling as the moonlight reflected down onto the water.

I intertwined my fingers with his, resting my head on his shoulder.

"You wanna know what we talked about?" I asked, looking at the water.

"You don't have to tell me." He softly told me.

I smiled, "I want to, though."

He chuckled and wrapped his arm around my waist.

"He told me about his girlfriend. He talked about how she was always there for him through everything. And that reminded me of you." I told him, rubbing the back of his hand with my thumb.

"You've been here for me ever since the first time we met. Remember, you even slid your phone number in my pocket? You didn't even know me personally, yet you wanted to help me and be there for me." I spoke, smiling.

"I told him about you and how you were there for me, as well." I continued.

He stayed quiet so I looked up at him, only to see tears streaming down his cheeks.

"Why're you crying?" I asked, wiping them from his cheeks.

He let out a sob, "I'm sorry."

"For what?" I asked him.

"For getting so jealous. I had nothing to be jealous over, anyway. And you were the one saying nice things about me..." he cried.

"Don't cry, Tae. It's alright." I softly spoke, wiping his tears again.

I gave him a tight hug, kissing his cheek.

"I don't deserve you." He mumbled.

I pulled away and gave him a kiss. "No, Tae. I don't deserve you. I've never had anyone like you in my life before."

I caressed his cheek and he smiled.

"See? It's alright. I'm not mad." I giggled, kissing his nose.

He nodded and giggled.

"Now, let's get back to the cabin, alright?"
