《I Like Selena Gomez || Taelena Fanfiction (Taehyung x Selena Gomez)》Chapter 47

After waiting for a while, I had fallen asleep.
The boys and Taehyung's parents had to go back to the hotel since it was getting late and everyone was tired.
Taehyung still hasn't woke up. I asked the doctors why, but they said he should wake up anytime soon.
They told me to be patient, but I was being far from that. I'm tired from all that's happened, I just want to talk to him.

I woke up, panting heavily. I don't know why, but I felt nervous.
A loud 'beep' was heard as I looked at the monitor.
Fear made its way through my body as I started to yell for help.
I ran out of the room, calling for help.
I caught the attention of many doctors' attention as they ran towards me and into the room.
I stared at Taehyung's body, feeling terrified.
"DON'T DIE ON ME, TAEHYUNG!" I yelled, tears falling down my cheeks.
The doctors got forced me to leave the room, but I kept refusing.
"Ma'am, please!" The doctors pleaded.
"NO! THAT'S MY BOYFRIEND!" I sobbed, feeling extremely weak.
"We'll do our best, but please leave the room!" The other doctor practically begged me.
I still refused, trying to push through them to see Taehyung.
They were trying their best to get his heart back to beating, but nothing was working.
"TAEHYUNG! NO!" I screamed, crying my eyes out.
They finally managed to get me out of the room as my whole body felt weak.
They shut the door and I broke down on the floor crying.
My hands made their way to my face as I cried in them, feeling heartbroken and weak.
Why must this always happen?
My hands along with my whole body started to shake as I started having a panic attack.

The only person to help me with these were Taehyung, but now I had no one.
My heart rate increased and I felt like I couldn't breathe.
A doctor passing by noticed and immediately ran over to me.
"Ma'am!"
She helped me up on the chair and rubbed my back soothingly.
"P-please, c-call someone in my contacts called Namjoon a-and tell him to get here as soon as possible." I stuttered, handing her my phone.
She nodded and took my phone, doing as I asked her to.
She spoke to him and when she was done she hung up, giving my phone back to me.
"T-thank you." I whispered, my voice weak.
I heard doctors rushing around in the room and I continued to sob loudly as the doctor continued to comfort me.
And not long after, I saw Namjoon and everyone else rushing down the hallway, looking terrified.
"S-Selena?! Wha-" Namjoon started, but was stopped by a doctor walking out of the room with a sad look on his face.
"I'm sorry, but he didn't make it."
And that was enough for everyone to break down.
I felt my whole world stop and I stared out into the distance, feeling my heart break.
I fell onto the ground, wanting to scream and hit something but all I could do is let out shaky cries.
What hurt even worse was seeing everyone else break down.
Taehyung's mom and dad hugged each other tightly, sobbing into each other's embraces.
"His heart stopped and we were unable to save him... I'm so sorry."
Namjoon and the boys had tears streaming down their faces, Jungkook falling onto his knees and letting out loud cries.
And at that moment, I knew I'd never be happy ever again.

I felt my body being shaken lightly and I let out a loud gasp, looking around in panic.
"Selena?"
I looked in front of me only to see Taehyung awake.
I let out a sigh of relief and I felt tears fall down my face.
"Come here." He whispered, holding his arms out to me.
I was surprised, "B-but you-" I started, but he interrupted me.
"It doesn't matter, come here." He practically demanded.
I did as he wanted and climbed onto the hospital bed as he started to cuddle me.
I cried in his embrace, feeling freaked out from the nightmare I just had.
He lifted my head up to face him, looking down at my tear-stained face.
He wiped my tears off my face, suddenly placing a soft kiss on my lips.
I looked shocked and confused from his action, but he just looked at me with a smirk.
"W-why-" I stuttered.
"What? Am I not allowed to kiss my girlfriend?" He raised an eyebrow at me.
I widened my eyes and hid my face back in his chest, beginning to cry once again.
"Yah! Don't cry again, you're going to make me cry." He whined, pulling my face away from his chest gently.
"It's okay love, I remember." He smiled softly at me, placing a gentle kiss on my forehead.
"I thought you would never remember." I whispered, feeling overwhelmed by the whole situation, yet extremely happy.
"I can't forget my only love, can I?" He spoke, caressing my face and raising one of his eyebrows.
I smiled, tears still making their way down my face.
"Are you okay? You seemed to be having a really bad nightmare." He asked, concerned.
"I-it's just I dreamed that you..." I started, but trailed off at the end.
"That I... died?" He asked.
I nodded, letting out a shaky sigh.
"It's okay love, I'm right here, and I'm never leaving you." He reassured me, pulling me into a hug but he groaned.
"Don't overwhelm yourself, Tae. Your leg is broken and you hurt yourself pretty bad." I scolded him.
He giggled while pulling me into his embrace, his hand caressing my back.
I felt extremely exhausted, so I shut my eyes as my head rested in his neck.
He readjusted himself carefully, putting my head on his chest.
"Go back to sleep, love, I'm right here." He whispered, his hand making its way under my shirt as he rubbed my back soothingly.
And soon, I fell asleep, feeling overwhelmed with happiness yet exhaustion at the same time.
