《I Like Selena Gomez || Taelena Fanfiction (Taehyung x Selena Gomez)》Chapter 45

I walked back into the room only to see Taehyung holding Gracie in his lap.
He had a huge smile on his face while he held her, making me smile at the sight.
He's always loved kids.
His eyes traveled to mine as he examined my face.
His mother began speaking in Korean, and Namjoon translated for me.
"She says that Taehyung should spend the rest of his time in America with you. Living with you could bring back his memory of you and your family." He explained and I nodded.
"Did the doctor say when he's going to be discharged?" I asked.
"Today. He has no serious injuries other than his leg from when he fell which can heal on its own." Namjoon spoke.
I nodded, understanding. I looked back over to Taehyung and walked over to him.
"Hey, you wanna go get some lunch?" I softly asked him as he looked up at me, his eyes sparkling.
He nodded, smiling.
It's like his crush on me all over again.
I silently chuckled and grabbed the wheelchair the doctors brought as Gracie climbed out of his lap.
I helped him out of the bed, wrapping my arm around his back.
He groaned, but managed to get onto the wheelchair.
"We'll be back." I smiled to everyone in the room, starting to push Taehyung's wheelchair out of the room.
We made our way to the elevator and I pressed the first floor button.
"So, we're... friends?" Taehyung suddenly asked.
"I guess you could say that..." I looked down as I spoke.
We reached the first floor and I pushed him out of the elevator and to the hospital's cafeteria.
I pushed him to a table, "I'll be right back."
I made my way to the front and ordered us some food.
They handed me two plates and I smiled, thanking them and making my way back to the table.
I put a plate in front of Taehyung and he smiled softly at me.
I sat down in front of him, beginning to eat the food.
However the whole time, I felt his stare on me.
I looked up at him, now we were both staring into each other's eyes.
He giggled and blushed, looking down at his food.
I smiled hearing his giggle, I missed it a lot.
"So... how'd we meet?" He asked.
"We met at the American Music Awards. You came backstage and well, we became friends after that." I told him, not wanting to say the full truth since it'd only bring back bad memories.

He nodded, understanding.
"It's weird how I can't remember you only. What's the date?" He asked.
"It's February 22nd." I replied.
"I can't remember anything from the past couple of months, that's weird." He furrowed his eyebrows.
I nodded, "It really is. But you'll stay at my place for a while, maybe that'll bring back your memory of me." I smiled, feeling hopeful.
"I wish I could remember you. This feels surreal right now." He said, a slight smile on his face.
"I'll do my best to bring back your memory." I reassured him, even though I knew that I was desperate myself for his memory to come back.
He smiled at me and we finished eating. I took the plates back and pushed him back to the elevator.
I pressed the button where his room was, but I felt his stare again.
This time I looked at him and his face turned deep red as he looked away.
I chuckled and we soon reached the third floor. I pushed him out of the elevator and back to his room where everyone stood.
They all looked at me with a soft smile.
"The doctor said he can be discharged now." Namjoon said.
"Oh, okay. Let's go discharge him, then." I spoke.
"Does he have any clothes?" My mom asked.
"No, only his suit." I told her.
"Maybe they won't mind if he just keeps the hospital gown until we get to my house where he can change." I shrugged my shoulders.
"Let's go discharge you now."

I helped Taehyung into my car and he groaned in pain.
"Are you okay?" I asked, worried.
"Yeah, it just hurts a little." He hissed, carefully putting his leg into the car.
"As soon as we get to my place you need to get in bed. Your leg needs to heal." I told him and got into the driver's side.
I started the car and drove off, paying attention to the road.
The boys were helping Taehyung's parents get a hotel in the same building they were at and teaching them basic English they would need to use for the time they are in America.
They were going to visit as much as possible since they were of course worried about their son.
They thought it was best for Taehyung to stay with me anyway, because they knew how much I cared about him.

Mom and Gracie made their way back home and said they would visit whenever they could.
We soon pulled into my driveway and Taehyung looked at my house in pure awe.
"Wow, this is your house?" He asked and I nodded, smiling.
I got out of the car, closing the door and going over to Taehyung's side to help him out.
I gently grabbed his arm, wrapping my arm around his waist and helping him out.
I made sure to be gentle so I wouldn't hurt his leg and closed the door once he was out.
We made our way to the front door and I grabbed my keys out of my pocket, unlocking the door.
I opened the door and he looked around, "Wow."
"Let me help you to the guest room." I told him.
I wrapped my arm back around him and he held onto me the best he could as we made our way to the guest room.
I opened the bedroom door and helped him to the bed.
He laid down on it slowly, trying not to hurt his leg.
"I can't believe they didn't give you crutches." I sighed.
He chuckled, "It's not a big deal."
"Oh, I have some of your clothes from the times you came over, I'll give them to you so you can get out of the hospital gown." I giggled, making my way out of the room and to the laundry room.
I grabbed him a shirt and some comfortable sweatpants and walked back into the guest room.
"Here, I can leave while you change." I offered.
Even though I've already seen you naked.
"O-okay." He stuttered and I made my way out of the room.
But after a couple seconds, I heard a thud.
I immediately opened the door and saw Taehyung on the floor, wincing in pain.
I ran to his body, lifting him up onto the bed.
"Are you hurt?" I asked, worried.
"N-no, I'm fine." He gulped.
"I can help you change." I offered.
"You don't have to..." he trailed off at the end, feeling flustered by my offer.
"It's not a big deal, I don't want you to hurt yourself again." I told him, grabbing his clothes.
He slid off the hospital gown, revealing his well-built body.
No matter how many times he took off his shirt, I would always get flustered.
My cheeks burned red but I did my best to hide them.
He was now only in his underwear as I slid on his shirt.
I helped him with his pants as his cheeks were glowing red.
"Oh, your socks are a present from Gracie, my little sister." I smiled.
He looked down at the socks he was wearing, a smile spreading across his face.
"And they're in purple." He smiled.
"And she got you a blanket, too. I brought it in this bag." I said, grabbing it out of the bag from the dresser.
He got under the covers and I put the blanket over him, tucking him in as he stared into my eyes.
I looked at her, my heart pounding against my chest.
Whenever I looked at her, I felt my heart pound.
I thought it was because she was just a celebrity who I've looked up to for years, but it won't go away.
I feel so nervous and shy around her. And God, when she smiles it only gets worse.
I don't know why I'm like this, but what if I felt like this around her before? When we were friends?
I felt like hugging her and cuddling her, but of course I didn't.
I hate that I can't remember her, I hate it so much.
She finished tucking me in, going to the dresser where the bag was.
"Oh, and... here's your phone. They found it in your pocket." She said, handing me my phone.
I smiled up at her, "Thank you."
She smiled back and I felt my cheeks burn as I looked away.
"Just call me if you need anything, here's the remote to the TV." She spoke, handing me the remote.
I nodded and suddenly grabbed her arm gently, looking up into her eyes as I pulled her down to me.
I wrapped my arms around her body, "Thank you." I thanked her once again.
I felt her hide her face in my neck and my face grew an even darker shade of red.
We pulled away after a couple seconds and she looked down at the ground.
"Sorry..." she apologized, but I shook my head.
"Don't apologize, it actually felt nice..." I admitted, avoiding eye contact.
I saw her smile in the corner of my eyes as she walked towards the door.
"Remember, call for me if you need anything." She raised her eyebrows as she looked at me.
I nodded, smiling at her.
She exited the room and I sighed, looking up at the ceiling.
Why can't I remember?
