《I Like Selena Gomez || Taelena Fanfiction (Taehyung x Selena Gomez)》Chapter 34

I finished putting on my dress for Sumi's wedding. My present for her and her soon-to-be husband laid on the bed.
My eyes traveled to the necklace on the desk, the one Taehyung gifted me.
Smiling, I grabbed the necklace and lifted my hair up, putting it on.
I made my way to the mirror, checking to see how I looked.
Light makeup, a beautiful wine colored off shoulder dress, black heels, wavy hair, and of course the necklace.
Taehyung walked into the bedroom seeing me, a smile immediately appearing on his face.
"You look beautiful." He said and I blushed.
"And you look handsome." I smiled at him, seeing that he was wearing a black and white tuxedo with his black, curly hair.
He smiled shyly at me, taking my hand.
"Are you ready? The guys are already on their way there." He asked and I nodded.
He intertwined our fingers together and I grabbed my purse and the gift me and Taehyung got them, then exiting the apartment.
We got in his car and he started it before backing out of the parking lot and leaving.
He looked at me in the mirror and placed his hand on my thigh, as usual.
We soon arrived and got out of the car, looking around.
It was a nice wedding at a lakeside mansion, the decorations outside were definitely noticeable, it looked gorgeous.
We walked to the front door and Taehyung knocked on it and soon it opened, revealing an older man, about in his late 40's.
Taehyung smiled and shook hands with him after bowing to him, who also had a smile on his face.
The began conversing in Korean and I stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to say.
The man's eyes traveled to me, and I stood there with a slight smile on my face.
He seemed to understand that I didn't understand Korean, and began speaking in English.
"Oh, Selena Gomez, right? It's an honor to meet you. My kids used to watch you all the time on Disney." He said and I laughed and shook his hand.
"Selena, this is Mr. Chang, Sumi's father." Taehyung introduced him and I smiled at him.
"It's very nice to meet you, Mr. Chang." I smiled to him and he politely smiled back, then inviting us in.
"The ceremony will begin in about 30 minutes. We have everything set up already for the wedding, it looks nice, doesn't it?" He said, leading us into the big main room with a very high ceiling and a dangling chandelier.
It looked gorgeous, beautiful white chairs were set out for the guests to sit at and the wedding arch was covered in white flowers.
"It looks beautiful." I responded, looking around.
"Unfortunately we couldn't have an outdoor wedding because of how cold it is. But, Sumi and Chanwoo insisted on having it during this time." Mr. Chang spoke.
Guests were already seated on the chairs and some looked back to see us, widening their eyes.
"And in here is where we will have the party. We already have the cake, food, and wine glasses set out." He spoke, leading us into another huge room, where a woman, who I'm assuming is his wife, and my eyes traveled to none other than the boys.

They immediately smiled seeing us. "Finally arrived?" Namjoon laughed.
Taehyung laughed along and greeted all of them.
"Mr. Chang, who in your family is fluent in English? I just want to know before I go talking to anyone." I asked him when Taehyung walked over to the boys.
"Oh, all of us are, actually. We lived in America for most of the kids' childhoods. We moved back to Korea when Sumi turned 13. And please, call me Sungjae." He said and I nodded, smiling.
"That's amazing, and of course, Sungjae." I smiled at him.
The woman then walked over to me and immediately smiled at me.
"It's very nice to see you here, Selena! Sumi has talked a lot about you. I'm Mrs. Chang, but you can call me Jieun." She smiled at me.
"It's very nice to meet you, too! And she has? I thought she didn't like me." I said and she giggled.
"Practically everyone in Korea knows this, but you and Taehyung are close, right? Sumi has always been overprotective over Taehyung. She just doesn't want him to get hurt. She has a soft spot for him, even though he broke up with her. But, there's no hard feelings left. They're really good friends now." She said and I nodded.
"I understand." I smiled.
"Oh, and do you have other children, too? You keep mentioning other children, too." I said and she nodded.
"Yes, we have one more son, Daehyun, he's a bit older than Taehyung. He's probably upstairs. He's been a fan of you for a long time." She said and I smiled kindly to her.
"Sumi and Chanwoo are probably getting ready right now, how much time left do we have left, Sungjae?" She asked her husband.
"About 20 minutes left." He said.
"Perfect, he should be down any minute now." She said and sure enough, someone began walking down the stairs, who was probably Daehyun.
"Daehyun! Why are you so late?" His mother immediately questioned him.
"I had to do something." He said, straightening his tie.
"Don't tell me-" she started, but her eyes traveled to a girl who walked up beside him.
Oh.
But soon his eyes met mine and he stared at me a while, a smirk creeping up on his face.
It made me uncomfortable, so I looked away and made my way to Taehyung and the boys.
Taehyung saw me and smiled. "Let's go take a seat now with the other guests." Namjoon said and we nodded in agreement, meanwhile the others stood there, confused.
Namjoon spoke in Korean to them and they all went "Ohhh" and made their way behind me and Taehyung, finding themselves a seat.
Taehyung sat beside me in the third row, sneaking a quick peck on the side of my face.
"Stop it, lovebirds." Jimin said as he sat down beside Taehyung, laughing.
Taehyung blushed, turning his body away from mine.
"Hey, I'm going to go to the restroom, okay?" He told me and I nodded.
He smiled and made his way to the restroom.
But after a couple of minutes, Daehyun sat down beside me along with the girl from earlier, who I'm guessing was his girlfriend.

Arguing was heard beside me and of course, it was Daehyun and his girlfriend.
"You're such a playboy." I heard her scoff silently.
"In case you forgot, I can sleep with whoever the f*ck I want. Remember, you said that was fine?" He argued back in a harsh tone.
"I didn't think you were serious. Why are you even in a relationship with me if you are going to be with other girls?!" She argued.
"You know what? Let's not do this here. It's my sister's wedding, alright? Feel free to leave if you want." He said and she shot him a glare and got up, leaving.
I awkwardly sat there, feeling awkward after hearing that argument. But of course, he turned towards me right after.
"It's very nice to meet you, Selena. I'm sorry you had to hear that." He said, holding out his hand.
I shook it, being polite. "You, too. It's okay." I said, awkwardly smiling.
"I've been a very big fan of you for a long time." He said and I thanked him.
"'Hands To Myself' is my favorite music video by far." He said suddenly and I looked at him, smiling awkwardly.
"Oh, really?" I asked and he nodded, placing his hand on my leg.
"So, are you and Taehyung a thing?" He questioned.
"Um, no..." I said, feeling uncomfortable by his touch.
"Perfect." He smirked.
But Jimin must've sensed something was wrong or heard what he was saying, because he turned and shot him a glare.
Daehyun rolled his eyes and took his hand off my leg.
"Here's my number, sweetheart." He whispered, handing me a piece of paper.
I awkwardly took it, deciding that I'd throw it away when I could.
Soon Taehyung came back, sitting back down beside me.
"Sorry, some people wanted pictures with me." He said, but after hearing I didn't respond, he looked at me.
"Are you alright?" He asked, seeing that I was uncomfortable.
"I'm fine." I said, but before he could respond, the ceremony began.
Chanwoo stood at the arch with a happy smile on his face.
The person at the piano began playing "Here Comes The Bride" and after a while, the doors to the room behind us opened, revealing Sumi in a beautiful wedding dress, standing beside her father.
Her arms locked with his as he walked her down the isle. She looked around, spotting us and immediately smiling.
Taehyung gave her a reassuring smile and she turned her head, looking at her soon-to-be husband.
She looked at him with pure love in her eyes, something that he returned.
She soon made her way to the wedding arch, standing in front of Chanwoo.
The priest smiled at the two, then beginning to speak.
They soon made their vows, tears formed in my eyes because of how happy they looked.
Her mother made her way to them with a cushion in her hands that contained the rings.
Chanwoo placed her ring on her finger and Sumi did the same, sliding his ring onto his finger.
They vowed to stay with each other their whole lives, and the priest then said, "You may kiss the bride."
They kissed and cheers erupted throughout the room. My eyes traveled to Sumi's parents who were crying.
I smiled softly, feeling happy for all of them.
"Now who wants cake?!" Sumi yelled and everyone laughed.
Everyone stood up and made their way to the huge dining room.
Sumi walked over to us once everyone was settled and hugged us both.
"I'm so glad you guys could come!" She smiled wholeheartedly.
Jin let out a cough and Sumi turned to them, laughing.
"And of course, you guys too!" She hugged all of them.
Sumi and Chanwoo grabbed the first slices of cake that had two little mini figures of them on the top.
She grabbed a piece with her fork as well as Chanwoo and they ate a slice.
We all grabbed cake and some food and drinks, making our way to a seat on the long dining table.
We all ate, but the whole time I saw Daehyun looking at me suggestively. I tried my best to ignore him.
Soon, a lot of the guests left after a while of partying and having fun.
I stood with Sumi, talking to her while Taehyung talked to Chanwoo and the boys.
"Are you thinking about having children anytime soon?" I asked her.
She choked on her cake. "Well... we'll see what tonight brings." She smirked and I laughed.
After a while, Chanwoo came up and I smiled at them.
"I'll leave you lovebirds alone. I'm going to the restroom." I said and Sumi gave me the directions and I thanked her, then making my way to the restroom.
I made my way into a hallway, finally spotting the restroom.
But Daehyun stood in the hallway, smirking and coming towards me.
I backed up, feeling a bit scared.
"Hey." He winked at me, walking closer.
"You look stunning tonight." He smirked, looking me up and down.
"Would you perhaps... like to have some fun?" He smiled suggestively.
"I can make you feel good." He tried to convince me, beginning to touch my thigh.
I didn't know what to do. I felt my heart rate increasing, but I was scared. I couldn't scream, I couldn't push him away. I was frozen.
But he grabbed my arm, leading me towards another room. I tried to get his hand off of my arm, trying to yank my arm away but his grip was too tight.
"L-let me go!" I finally let out.
"You know you want this, I can make you feel better than any man has ever done." He spoke, trying to convince me, but it only made it worse.
"Please! I don't want this!" I cried out, still trying my best to get away from him.
But of course, his grip only got tighter.
"TAEHYUNG!" I finally screamed just as we reached his bedroom door.
Running footsteps were heard as tears fell down my cheeks.
And there stood Taehyung at the front of the hallway, with a fiery look in his eyes.

Noli Me Tank in a Mall
Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo are important cultural works that ignited the Philippine Revolution against Spain. They are novels that exposed to the populace the abuses and the injustices of their Spanish colonial rulers, the hypocrisy of their priests, and inherent cruelty of their class structure over the powerless masses. Unfortunately, they rose up in the middle of the Spanish-American War, one which saw Spain lose most of their overseas colonies and decisively end as a World Power. The war ended in the 1898 Treaty of Paris, in which Spain also sold the Philippines to the USA for the sum of twenty million dollars. The revolutionary government was then crushed by the overwhelming military might of the United States and the Philippines turned into a territory. While the Philippines stands as the USA's greatest successes in nation-building, their early occupation left almost one-fifth of the population dead from combat and disease. Jose Rizal was executed by the Spanish long before knowing what might happen to his country. The world presented within The Noli and the El Fili is therefore stuck frozen in time, forever caught in that moment before a Revolution. Now let's see what happens to this nation if we give it the Light Novel treatment and jam the entirety of the Internet into their protagonist's skull and watch him try to fix things with his unfortunate tendency to sound like a supervillain. Updates Mondays and Fridays. Note: The Noli and El Fili have been public domain since 1946. This is completely fair game.
