What is this? Let's piss off Kabir until he kills someone competition!? Why is everyone hell bent on pushing me to the edge of my already thinning patience. I closed my eyes and controlled my shaking fists. Oh they were damn aching to meet someone's face and feed itself with the satisfaction in latter's grunts and groans.

"But Bua said she'll marry me!", Reyansh exclaimed and my anger turned into shock.

"What!?", Rivaah sputtered.

"Yes! That day, when everyone was here, she was so sad when she came to me. She said someone who promised to marry her left. So I said, I'll marry her once I grow up. She agreed. Now we're waiting for me to grow up!", He declared, self proclaiming it as an important event that is meant to happen in coming future.

"Take him away.", Rivaah requested to Taila who immediately picked him up ignoring his whines.

"But- I'll marry her!", He yelled before she took him inside kitchen.

I heaved a sigh. Rivaah looked embarrassed.

"And you-", I addressed him, he looked at me. The amusement in his eyes fading away once hearing my serious tone. "Eat and you can leave. I'll forget this conversation ever happened. I don't need your help.", I said as I pushed the plate away and stood up. He followed my queue and stood before me. His gaze calm yet challenging.

"Listen me out first.", He said gently.

"Yes, Kabir-", I glared at her successfully shutting her up. I didn't forget the way she was looking at him since his arrival. With heart emojis twinkling in her eyes.

"Speak!", I barked at him. He looked annoyed. Well, he can deal with his annoyance outside of my house. After what he said, all I want to do is strangle his throat. How dare he brings my sister in this? And that too as a part of deal!? Bastard!

"Last year her company managed my Annual Success Party. Because we already knew each other after the Mauritius vacation, I sent her an invitation. She came. We spent a night together and then she disappeared.", I stiffened. What the fuck? My beautiful sister spent her night with this monkey? I mean, she can do so much better!

"Oh wow! She hit a jackpot!", Rivaah sighed and I snapped my gaze towards her. She had her dreamy eyes fixed on Aaryan. I can't believe this! Fucking asshole has already charmed my sister and now my wife is in the following list.

Aaryan held his smile back. I wanted to punch him. But I can't get violent in my house. The furniture is expensive.

"It must be nothing more than a one ni-night sta-stand for her.", I shrugged. Gross! It felt weird talking about your sister's sex life.

"I met her again six months ago. In a bar. One thing led to another and-"

"Okay I get it!", I stopped him with a glare. My nose flaring in anger.

"Why did you stop him!?", Rivaah demanded aggressively. What!? "Continue please. One thing led to another and-", she trailed with a smirk.

"And you know the rest.", He said shyly. Oh boy you're on my death radar!

"Aww! Look at how cut-"

"Shut up.", I chastised.

She mocked at me, before looking back at him with a smile. I rolled my eyes.

"So you're saying she's interested in you?", I asked and he nodded.

"Then what do you want from me? Court her on your own. If she's really into you, she'll give you a chance.", I shrugged nonchalantly. Not that I like him now. She can still do so much better. But he's a successful and sorted guy. I still remember the meaningful conversation we shared in Mauritius. He's also protective of his family. "But only if you're serious about her! If you're just trying to get her on your bed-"

"Not everyone's like you.", Rivaah remarked. I gulped as guilt seeped deeper with her accusation.

"Just don't hurt her. She has already been through a lot.", I mumbled.

"I know. So I just want to let you know. I'm not like Ishaan.", He said and I frowned.

"What do you mean?"

"That he was behind her money? It's good that you got rid of him.", My fists unclenched as I looked at him in surprise.

"What?", Rivaah questioned.

"Yeah.", He nodded. "Seven years ago, when I first started my business, I had a meeting with Mr. Malhotra. It's another story that he denied to invest in my business because he thought it was risky. But there I overheard their conversation, about you know- making Raichand daughter fall in love so her shares will be transferred to them. It wasn't my business to poke so I ignored it. However, I felt so guilty when I first saw her in Mauritius. And I was strangely intrigued by her.", He added the last statement in pure admiration. There was a warmth of affection lingering in his tone.

"You could have saved her from this pain.", Rivaah spat out as she stood up and looked at him with disapproval.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Raichand but I was just a rookie in business world that time. I had no power. And I can't make a shark my enemy when I was just a new fish in water! I agree I was selfish. But world is no saint. I had my own problems and obstacles to tackle, why would I involve myself in someone else's life?", He explained and she breathed out before nodding slowly.

"It's just that, the heartbreak could have been avoided.", She added softly. I smiled at the protectiveness and concern she showed for Ahana.

"I'm guilty about that.", He said remorsefully.

"I don't care if you're guilty about it or not. What I care of is my sister. Unknowingly I've inflicted so much pain on her. And I don't want her to suffer anymore. If you're genuinely interested, come clean before her and then ask if she's interested in you. It's her life and she has every right to chose whoever she dates. But I'm warning you; one tear and I'll rain destruction on you!", I threatened him and he nodded confidently.

"So? Shall we continue the dinner?", Rivaah asked.

"We'll talk about this deal tomorrow. Please have dinner before you leave.", I said patting on his shoulder before walking out of dining hall.

"Kab-ir..." Ignoring her weak call, I entered study room.

It was not even fifteen minutes that I came and there was a knock on door.

"Come in.", Rivaah entered cautiously.

"Did he leave?"

"Just after you. It was awkward. Why did you do that? He was our guest. I had to pack some food for him. It's not nice to send the guest empty stomach. That was so rude of you.", She said and I hummed before diving back into my work.

"Kabir? Is something wrong?"

"Do you like him?", I asked and she looked taken aback.

"He's handsome, Kabir. I'm not gonna lie about that. And later I was just teasing you. You can't be angry over something so silly.", She sighed tiredly.

"I'm sorry I got jealous. I didn't know you've the right to say out your insecurities but I don't.", I said and took the file to study.

"Kabir, I didn't mean that! C'mon, you can't be serious!", She exclaimed.

"Was that comment necessary?", I asked raising my head to meet her eyes.

"What comment?", She frowned. Looking so innocent as if she can never do anything wrong.

"The ‘Not everyone's like you.’ Was that necessary? And in front of a stranger.", I scoffed.

"I know it was wrong. I'm sorry. I just had a slip of tongue. I don't mean it. I'll never do something like this again. I'm really sorry.", She apologised. Wow! A person can't even stay angry! How can she apologise so immediately? Mom takes ages to admit her mistakes.

"It's fine. It's true anyways.", I shrugged it off.

"No. It was true. Not anymore. I'll try to never bring that up.", She smiled and I ushered her close. She was about to take a step closer when her eyes widened.

"Reyansh's medicines!", She gasped before rushing out. I closed my eyes in annoyance. How many times me and Taila has told her to not run but she's like that rebel child who'll do exactly opposite of what it has been told.

My phone rang capturing my attention. The moment I left that restaurant, I had told Karthik to dug every possible information about Mehrotras. Right from a to z. Let's see what he has stored in for me.

"Yes, Karthik?"

"I confirmed the doubt.", He nodded and I smiled.

"Great! Is the rumors about him true?", I asked, twirling the fountain pen between my fingers.

"Absolutely. He's a rapist!", Karthik spat out in disgust.

"So we can go according to our plan. But I just hope nothing goes wrong.", I sighed. I know what I'm doing might turn risky for my loved one. But to remove this threat looming over my family, I need to uproot this problem completely. I have noticed the hatred Lavanya's eyes carried for me. It won't be that long for her to drive in the level of insanity to seek revenge.

"Don't worry, sir. I'll keep an eye on them. Nothing will go wrong.", He assured me.

"Okay. She'll be the bait we need and he'll walk right into our trap.", I mumbled although I was already feeling guilty for pulling her in this. But I'll not go according to the decided plan if she doesn't approve.

"We've to do this immediately. We can't waste anymore time.", Karthik reminded me.

"I know. I'll talk with her.", I said in response.

"Also, Mr. Vashisth just called me. He's ready to invest! That's such an amazing news, Sir!", His voice took a 360° turn. From serious to completely cheerful and exciting. However, I frowned in confusion.

"He called? But I said we'll continue the meeting in office.", I said confusedly.

"Oh? But before I could call you, he did. He said he'll be waiting for the contract.", Karthik added.

"That's great.", I mumbled. I really want his involvement in my business but not like this. I don't need it as a help just because I've given him a green signal to date my sister. I need to discuss this with him in detail. He should know what he's investing in and whether it is deserving or not.

"You don't sound too happy?", Karthik questioned.

"It's not that. I still need to talk with him.", I said. "And what about your son? Has he adapted to the new school?", I changed the topic.

"Hardly. You know only kids from rich families study there. He finds it hard to adjust. But he's trying.", He sighed. I could understand his pain. Seeing your child struggling with something he has no control over is hard. I'm dealing with this everyday.

"Once Reyansh is all good to join school, I'll admit him in the same school. Then Dev and he can go to school together. They are already best friends.", I smiled and he hummed.

"That sounds nice. Okay, sir. I'll be hanging up now. My wife is calling me for dinner.", He said.

"Yeah. See you tomorrow.", I said before disconnecting the call.

"Ha! So you were saying something!", My wife announced her arrival loudly as she entered with a huge smile on her face.

"Come here.", I patted my lap.

She strutted towards me and sat on my lap, throwing her legs on the either sides and pushing herself closer. "You can say out your insecurities. And he must be handsome, but he's all vanilla. I like all spicy.", She whispered as her eyes fluttered down to my lips before looking back in my eyes.

"You're so cruel.", I muttered and she giggled.

"Why, Daddy?", She tilted her head to side, her eyelashes fluttering rapidly.

"Stop.", I said as I felt my member straining against my boxer.

"Okay, Daddy.", She mumbled as she moved more close, successfully rubbing herself against me. I groaned.

"Fuck! Stop before I bend you-"

"Oh no! I've a zoom meeting with my team! I'll see you later. Bye!", Before I could comprehend the happenings, she was already out of the study room.

What the hell is wrong with this Woman!?

I'll seriously die of blue balls if this continues!

After I completed my work, I headed upstairs to my bedroom and saw her on bed. She smiled innocently at me as I gave her a stink eye. Ignoring her presence, I went inside bathroom and brushed my teeth.

"I brought your dinner upstairs.", She said while she was busy in keeping her laptop on study table.

"I'm not hungry.", I said lying down on my bed.

"I'm sorry for leaving so suddenly. You know about the meeting tomorrow. That Rishabh-"

"I understand.", I said caressing her cheek as she laid beside me.

"You don't!", She said turning on her back and staring at the ceiling angrily.

"What happened?", I coaxed her.

"I'll tell you tomorrow.", She sighed and turned on her side to face me.

"Reyansh?"

"He's asleep.", A knock stopped her. "Or not.", She mumbled before getting up and opening the door.

"How selfish, Mommy! You left me there alone to sleep here with Daddy.", He complained as he climbed up on bed and cuddled me. I smiled kissing the top of his head.

"You said me talking was disturbing you so I came here.", She retorted back.

"I can't see you doing your meeting anymore.", He mumbled against my chest.

"That's because I can't go on for eternity! I just finished my meeting.", She said in her defense.

"Then you could have called me immediately after.", He argued back.

"I thought-"

"Okay enough!", I said gesturing her with my hand. I can't believe she's arguing with a four year old kid.

"She's such a kid.", Reyansh murmured and I tightened my arm around him for a second to make him stop. "What?", He whispered.

"Stay silent.", I mumbled back. "Come here, Dove.", I said to her and she came after closing the door shut.

Both of them fell asleep just after five minutes. Our son was safely confined between us. Shutting the lights off, I covered all of us with a duvet and let myself fall into deep slumber.

"A child's soul reflects honesty. It is a trait that one might lose after growing up. But every person, when was a child, was completely and innocently honest. And so, our concept is An Honest Opinion. Where, instead of hiring some actors to advertise our product. We'll make little kids drink our beverage and record their honest opinions about it. The glee, happiness, satisfaction, we'll capture it all and show it to the world.", The girl completed with a confident smile as she ended the presentation. I could see my wife's eyes shining in pride.

"I like this one.", I was not being bias. But unlike the first one, this one sounded more fresh and manipulative. You can't work things out with old ways.

The team sitting on my right brightened up with huge smile.

"Final this and start your wheels. Work hard. I want the sales to reach sky and beyond.", I reprimanded them, seven heads nodded while my wife smiled warmly at me. I blinked at her, trying to tell her how proud she made me feel before leaving the conference room.

Someone must be pissed.... Well, good for that person.
