Rational Kabir was covered in a veil of rage. The way his eyes stared at me, completely soulless, brought fear. I was scared if I've lost my Kabir again to the old one. I don't want him reverting back to his old habits. I stood there as he continued watching me, blankly. With no response and will to do anything. He was still panting hard, like a chained lion. Ready to break the cage and pounce on his prey. I wonder what he's thinking. I don't want to be in his receiving radar right now. The pressure of this raging sea may pour on me and he may something that he wouldn't mean. And we'll return back to square one.
Suddenly warmth flooded in his onyx eyes and they softened. I frowned as he stared at something behind me. Slightly turning on my spot, I found Reyansh standing beside bed, watching us with his eyes that are eerily similar to that of his father.
"Come to Daddy.", I looked front and gasped inaudibly as Kabir was crouched down, his tone creamed with gentleness and adoration. He waved his hand inside, calling Reyansh to him. The little kid dropped his stethoscope on bed and crashed himself in his father's arms. Kabir lost his balance and sat down on floor. I chuckled.
"I thought you were angry.", Rey mumbled, his little body cocooned protectively in his father's embrace.
"I was. But after seeing you, all Daddy want to do is smother sweet Reyansh's face with kisses.", Kabir rubbed his back as he stood up and walked past me in bedroom.
I decided to leave them for time being. A little disappointed that their equation didn't count me in. My hand reached for the door knob just as a hand gripped my other wrist. I turned and furrowed my brows, confused as to why he stopped me.
"I need you. Stay.", He said as his other arm cradled Reyansh possessively to his chest.
"Did something happen?", I asked as I left the door knob and walked in his awaiting embrace. My hand resting on his chest, caressing him softly.
"Hmm.", He hummed nuzzling his face in my hair and sighing, as if in content.
A side of his face leaned against the back of my head as I pressed myself on his chest. Just beside Reyansh. He needs us. I can feel it. I just hope nothing bad has happened.
"You three belong to me.", He affirmed as his arms around us tightened possessively.
"Three?", Reyansh questioned as he raised his head to meet Kabir's eyes.
"Hmm. You forgot your sibling that will come soon?", Kabir cooed and I smiled.
"Oh right.", Reyansh said sheepishly before laying his head on Kabir's shoulder.
"Why are we posing for a family picture when there's no camera around?", He asked after a moment and I burst out laughing before standing straight.
My eyes adored the sight as Father-Son duo playfully picked on each other around the room. Soon Reyansh flopped himself on bed, sighing out tiredly before shrieking loudly when Kabir launched himself on bed and hovered above him. The little munchkin was completely hidden beneath his father's giant figure, and all I could hear was beautiful giggles as Kabir nuzzled his face in Reyansh's neck and breathed out. Knowing very well that it tickles the little one.
"Mo-Mommy, he-help me. Take Da-Daddy away!", Reyansh panted between his laughs.
"C'mon, Daddy. Leave him.", I smirked and Kabir froze. Reyansh sighed out loudly.
"Go and play outside if you don't want to get tickled by me.", He patted on Reyansh butt and the little guy squealed before jumping off and running out.

I think I should leave.
I turned, trying to be as discreet as I could get. Before I could even take a step out, the door closed right before my eyes with his hand plastered firmly on it. I could feel his presence behind me. My toes curled and I looked down, suddenly feeling nervous and shy. God! Why am I behaving like a newly wedded bride?
Wait a minute! Wasn't he out for a dinner with that penguin!? I need to ask him what happened there!
With that decided in my mind, I turned only to stagger back because of the intensity with which his eyes burned. My heart thudded hard and fast against my ribcage, I could feel almost every beat and hear the loud drumming sound of it. My hand went to clasp the front of my top, trying to calm my wildly beating heart. I moved back, and with each step his eyes darkened more. I gasped as my back collided with the door frame, his lips tugged up in a small smirk. It wouldn't have been visible if not for the close distance between us. My breathes came out in pants as if I've run miles despite me not taking even five complete steps back.
"I remember the stunt you pulled this evening.", He said huskily and my breath hitched. Spare me for feeling horny. Blame my exploding hormones for that.
He stopped mere inch away from me, his both hands bracing my either sides. Trapping me in their cage. I avoided his eyes as they shamelessly stared at me.
"Aren't you a little naughty pervert?", He whispered against my ear, his breath fanning my earlobe. I shivered.
"So, what would you like, Ma'am?", He asked as he leaned back to look at me. I frowned. "Wanna play up and down or would you prefer my tongue instead?", He asked and I gasped. My face must be resembling fifty shades of red right now. I can't believe he's talking dirty with me.
I ignored his question and bit on my bottom lip, fixing my gaze on the wall behind him.
"Oh well, are you suddenly shy, Miss. Goody two shoes?", He taunted as he leaned close to my face. My eyes fluttered close when I felt his lips just an inch away, a little inclination and they would be on mine.
"What are you expecting? A kiss?", My eyes snapped open and I gulped as he smirked at me. "Weren't you the one who said not to touch you until the rumors about me dating some other girl goes down?", He asked in sexy whisper.
Not when you're looking so damn hot!
I wanted to shout but I stayed silent.
His silky dark hair fell gracefully on his forehead, framing his manliness with boyishness. Just a simple action of blinking is graceful when it comes to him. How can he be so perfect?
"My long fingers are ready to do rough things to you.", He said as he brushed his hand through his hair. That one simple action made my knees weak. "Do I have your permission?", He licked his lip.
Yes, please!
I blinked.
"No?", He tilted his head to one side. Looking so innocently at me. God! Kill me please. I can't take this gorgeousness anymore.
"Okay.", He shrugged and stood straight. I clutched on his finger tips just as he turned around.
"Do-Don't leave.", I whispered. The heat inside me was waiting to burn in pleasure and ecstasy.
"Then? What should I do?", He asked turning around. Hesitantly, I interlaced our fingers and tugged him back. He crashed against me, his one arm landing on the door frame behind me with a thud sound.

My hand went up his chest, resting on his shoulder as I guided his hand to my waist.
"What is it?", I asked as I moved away and stirred him with me. His one brow cocked up, before he smirked and pulled me flush against him.
"Someone's trying to challenge me.", He said as his hand rubbed on my waist sensuously.
"Someone's asking for death.", I chuckled as my both arms went around his neck and locked at his nape.
"I'll need your help.", He mumbled nuzzling his nose in my neck. I tilted my head, giving him more room to do whatever he pleases.
"Life is just like the game of chess, Kabir. Tell me when you need me, and like a Queen on chess board, I'll stand at front for you.", I said and he groaned as he picked me up. My legs locked around his torso and he turned both of us.
"You know how to turn me on.", He whispered peppering small kisses along the length of my throat. Throwing my head back, I gasped clutching his collar in a tight grip.
"I-"
"Mommy?"
Both of us froze. Not a second later my spine straightened up and I gulped. Kabir was looking like a child deprived of his sweet candy as he shut his eyes close and whispered some curses- that I think is better if I don't say. I slanted slightly to one side and saw Reyansh looking at us with confusion etched on his face. God damnit my pure child!
"Leave me!", I mumbled tight lipped as I patted on his arm that was on my hips.
He squeezed my buttcheek and I gasped. I glared at him as he lowered me down on the floor.
"Why were you up in his arms?", Reyansh questioned me as Murphy beside him nipped at his ball.
"Uhm-", I cleared my throat. "Actually-", I was at loss of words.
"Your Mommy is so stubborn, Rey. She wanted to clean the ceiling fan, but look at her height!", Kabir exclaimed and I gave him an offended look. There's no problem with my height. I'm perfectly 5.6.
"So you helped her?", Reyansh asked, falling for Kabir's illogical words.
"Yup. Daddy is always there to help Mommy. With everything.", He winked at me before walking out of room with Reyansh in his arms. Murphy tailed behind.
I took a deep breath and fixed my tousled hair. This man will be the death of me someday. Shaking my head, I spared a glance at mirror to my reflection and walked downstairs.
Soon we were together in dining hall for dinner.
"Rivaah?", I looked up, my spoon stopping in air.
"Hmm?", I asked after gulping down the morsel in my mouth.
"There's a friend of mine. He'll be coming home for dinner tomorrow.", Kabir said and I frowned. Never during the time I was with him for a year did he once bring any friend home except Ömer. Then who's this new friend?
"Who?", I questioned.
"Aaryan Vashisth. We met when I was on a vacation in Mauritius. He's a great guy. I had actually fixed our meeting in restaurant but he said that he would like to meet you guys.", He nodded.
"Vacation?"
"Yeah.", He sighed. "Mom thought it would've been a great gateway for me after the accident. Also the strain between everyone of us was hard to ignore. So we went on a vacation. I can't believe I was happy when you and Reyansh were struggling in some other corner of world.", He said shaking his head, looking ashamed of himself.
"It's all in the past now.", I said and he forced a smile.
"The guilt is still present.", He mumbled.
"How's the Biryani?", I asked changing the topic.
"Delicious. This is my favorite now.", He said.
"Oh please! I'll never be able to replace it with your Mom's Paneer Kofta.", I snorted.
"That's true.", He nodded assertively.
"Haww! You're not supposed to agree. Like those male leads in daily soap, you should be taking my side.", I complained playfully.
"I'll agree with your every demand in bedroom.", He smirked and I coughed.
"Why only in bedroom?", Reyansh spoke up.
I shrugged at Kabir who looked at me for escape. He dug his own grave.
"Hmm.... Because.... I- No.", He shook his head. I covered my laugh with another set of coughs.
"If you're looking for a reason, then don't tell me. I'll find my answer as I grow up.", Reyansh waved his hand dismissively.
I gasped. "No!", He looked at me in surprise. "You know daddy needs to sleep on bed. If he does not agree with everything I say, then he would have to sleep on floor. As a punishment. That's what he was trying to say. Right Kabir!?", I gritted and my husband sheepishly nodded.
We then retired to bed with me bashing all his naughty advances as a punishment. Let him suffer!

Mr. Vashisth is a literal eyecandy. He's tall, fair and dashing. And he's just so-
I came out of my day dream feeling a nudge on my elbow. I scoffed at Kabir in annoyance for disturbing my ogling session.
"Hello, Mrs. Raichand. It's a pleasure to meet you.", He said forwarding his hand. I gave him the back of my palm and his eyebrows shot up in surprise. Leaning down, he pressed a kiss on my hand like a true gentleman. I could feel Kabir burning beside me like a pressure cooker.
"This way, Mr. Vashisth.", Kabir said streanously. Well, I can't stop myself when there's a specie like this standing in front of me.
He nodded and smiled at me before walking inside along with Kabir.
Reyansh was giving me a funny look and I just ignored him before following them in.
Kabir pulled me beside him to sit and I did without any complaint. I get a better view from front.
"I'm sorry for-"
"No it's fine. You're welcomed here anytime.", I smiled.
"Oh. But I was apologising for coming late.", He said and I nodded before scooting back awkwardly. Kabir's calloused hand palmed my thigh, gripping it possessively. I realized I should stop now if I don't want to die tonight.
"It's fine, Mr. Vashisth. So-"
"I've an offer.", He said in his smooth voice.
"Go ahead.", Kabir nodded with a frown.
"We can continue this while having dinner?", He suggested and I got up.
"I'll just prepare the dining table.", I excused myself and rushed inside kitchen.
"How many times do I've to tell you not to rush in these days.", Taila chided me.
"Offo, I'm fine. Let's serve the dinner!", I said as I moved around kitchen to get the cutleries.
"I didn't see you before.", Aaryan said eyeing Reyansh admiringly.
"Namaste. I'm Reyansh Raichand Verma. I'm four years old.", My baby introduced himself confidently.
"Oh wow! You're one handsome guy!", Aaryan smiled.
After the food was served, we started the dinner.
"So I was saying....", He trailed and we all looked at him except Reyansh who was busy separating the veggies from rice. This boy!
Kabir looked attentive while I partly concentrated on their conversation.
"I'll invest in your business.", I looked up with a frown. What business is he talking about? "And I don't even need any profit or refund.", He added and this time Kabir frowned.
"I see.", Kabir sighed. "Tell me. What do you want?", He asked.
"Ahana Raichand.", I felt the air shifting it's course as Kabir tensed.
