I am beyond amazed at my son tonight. I couldn't focus on the movie for watching him as he studied up on medical things. It makes me wonder what he will become when he grows up.

Part of me aches because he has started going to bed on his own. Nicolas will go and do his bathroom routine and then come give us each a hug before going to bed. Where has time gone? He has grown up quickly and I already miss tucking him in at night.

"So do you want to help me in wrapping up all the gifts?" Holly looks over with shining eyes.

"Of course, snowflake." I get up from the couch and help her up.

It gets hard to not laugh when she tries to get off the couch by herself now, but the one little whack to my arm taught me real quick not to laugh out loud. So now I do it still but on the inside only. I know she is growing our little girl but it is the huffs and faces Holly will make when she gets stuck.

As we walk down the hall, Holly stops and we open Nicolas's door to see he is fast asleep. Closing the door back, we walk to our bedroom and I spot all the bags off in the corner. Holly didn't hide them because Nicolas never comes in here unless asked. He may get curious but I have never had him snoop in the room that is mine or like now Holly's and mine.

Holly sits on the bed and I start bringing everything over.

"Can you hand me the scissors on the dresser? The tape is there too." Holly points.

I pick up everything there and take it over to the bed. Where Holly and the gifts are piled up. Sitting on the bed next to her I look out at everything she is unbagging that she bought for Nicolas. Excitement fills me because she was able to get everything we talked about.

"I did get the other items ordered today." I tell her.

"Oh yay! Those will be in within just a few days then." She smiles and reaches to grab the paper but can't get all the way with her bump in the way.

I reach over and pull them closer for her to grab the ones she wants. We split the gifts in half to wrap up and Holly is impressed that I have wrapping skills.

"As long as they are the perfect square shape then yes. Because give me like that cylinder one and it will come out looking hilarious." I chuckle.

With Nicolas's gifts wrapped, Holly starts to load them into my arms until I can't see anything. her hand on my arm guides me through to the living room where she takes them out of my arms one by one to sit them on the couch. I get down on my knees and she hands me a gift at a time, letting me place them under the tree.

"Now you know what it's like not being able to see your feet." Holly huffs.

I raise an eyebrow at her. "That was more like being blind, snowflake."

Holly narrows her eyes at me. "Okay I know what to do for you to see what it is like being pregnant."

That smirk she gives after saying that has me gulping.

"We don't have to go there. I get what it is like not seeing your feet it is the same as not seeing holding the gifts." I back step.

"Oh no. We are going to have some fun." Holly walks to the kitchen coming out with tape.

"You got them under the tree. Everyone else's can stay in the room for now. Come with me." Holly giggles.

Following my pregnant wife back into the kitchen I dread what ever she is thinking and with tape involved.

"Hold this on your stomach." She points to the watermelon that I barely could track down at the grocery store that she wanted and we hadn't took time to cut up yet.

I follow her instructions and she starts circling me with the tape until I can let me hands off the watermelon and the tape is keeping it against me. I let out a huff, making Holly laugh like crazy.

Little feet hit the floor, and I hear Nicolas laughing at me.

"This sucks feeling all the weight here." I try to laugh but can't because the tape will dig into my shirt.

"Now you can't see your feet." Holly barely gets out for laughing.

I take the scissors and walk to the table bending down to where I can get this thing off and not bust by hitting the floor. With it off, I turn back to Nicolas and Holly.

"You normally don't get up once your asleep." I look to Nicolas.

"I wasn't really asleep. I couldn't wait to see what it looked like having the gifts under the tree and heard when you walked past my room." Nicolas looks proud of himself.

"That is sneaky." I smile at him.

"Well, Mama couldn't wait and I knew you guys would be doing it once you thought I was sleeping. I promise I still didn't peak into your bedroom because with where the bed is I would have to put my entire head around the door." Nicolas smirks.

"To smart for your own good." Holly rubs his back.

We all go to the living room and sit on the couch looking at the tree and decorations. The television is off, so there is nothing but quiet peace. I lean back and grab my phone to turn on some soft Christmas music because it is the one thing to make this absoutely perfect.

Holly leans her head back for a kiss that I give her immediately.

I still can't get enough of this woman and how she loves me and Nicolas. A light snore gets my attention and I look down to see both Nicolas and Holly are fast asleep. I gently wake Holly and I move to pick Nicolas up and take him to bed, with Holly following behind to our room.
