Nicolas, Tony and I played around quite a bit just enjoying the weather. Holly and Jewels joined in on the fun after they spoke together for a brief time.

We loaded back up in the truck after a few hours and bid the others a good day. Nicolas was leaning his head on Holly's shoulder asleep before we got a mile from the park. Once we got back to the house, I unbuckled his seat belt and Holly gently woke him up.

Nicolas seems to drag his feet into the house and Holly watches him closely. She helps take his shoes off, while I hold his shoulders to help his balance. We get him on the couch and I turn on the tv for him to his show, while Holly goes over checking his vitals for our peace of mind.

"I am okay Mama, just sleepy after playing." Nicolas gives her a tired smile, making her return a soft smile back.

"I just had to check little man. Let me get you some juice to drink on." Holly gets up and returns with a vitamin water instead to replace eletrolytes.

Nicolas drinks some and then lays on the couch. I move and sit on the smaller sofa and Holly joins a few minutes after putting up her medical things.

"He played hard this morning." I sigh looking at him sleeping on the couch already.

"There is still boundaries that has to be watched because he is not right at a hundred percent yet. I am glad that he is in remission though."

"Me to snowflake. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you." I hug her tight to my chest.

The tv plays quietly and I run my nose along Holly's neck, her hand comes up and cups my hand. The ring shines on her finger and I can't wait for the day already that we share our vows.

"So is the wedding going to be the day after Thanksgiving?" I speak up.

"I really like Nicolas's idea. It's the day I got extremely closer to the both of you and let my guard down to fall completely. What you done for Nicolas, Jack, even though he is your son well not many parents would go through something like that."

"Okay so we have our date. Now what is next?" I ask.

"Well we need to pick a house to live in all together or find a new one. Then it is colors for the wedding and where we want to have it at." Holly hums.

"I would like to live here in your house. We can sell mine and the money used just pay this one off. You have more space here and more land than with where mine is." I nod.

"If that is what you want to do Jack, I mean we could still keep the house and rent it out to where you will have a place to go to and be close to Isabel." Holly's voice comes out soft.

"I have Nicolas and see her in him. I have little nick nacks that I have that will help and not keep the entire house. There is a lot of things to do for investment property and we already have our hands pretty full." I chuckle.

"That we do."

"Okay so next one what you said colors. Do you have any in mind, snowflake?"

"Well it will be close to Christmas, so maybe a silver and blue theme."

"That sounds great and would be very photogenic."

"Of course you would say that Jack." Holly laughs.

"Wait we are talking this over. Won't the girls be upset?" I stop and think because doesn't the girls love to get together and plan this out.

"Oh no they will be just fine. Because there is still flowers and the actual decorations to pick out. Jewels and Massie both are hands on and would rather put things together than sit and pick out." Holly laughs.

I laugh with her and she pulls her phone out. We look over different little pieces for the wedding and I liked one and then the rest I let her choose. The flowers are a whole other ball game on which ones to choose from. With the colors that we choose Holly is thinking white and blue flowers.

"Is it weird that we just got engaged last night and now here we are pretty much got the wedding planned out that won't happen for almost eight months away?" Holly drops the phone in her lap and turns her head back to look at me.

"I don't think so. It just shows we are both happy and want this together." I kiss her lips.

"Maybe I should go get boxes for tomorrow. Since we are both off I could start packing up things and bringing them over." I suggest.

"Yes please that sounds great and then we won't be bouncing between houses anymore. I prefer not to be away from either of you if I don't have to be." Holly kisses me again and gets up.

I stand from the sofa and walk to the door to put my shoes on.

"I will get dinner made up while you go grab boxes from the store. Does a chicken stir fry sound okay for tonight?" Holly watches me.

"That sounds delicious, snowflake." I kiss her lips again and grab my wallet and keys from the tray.

"Do you need anything at the store?"

"Nope all good." She smiles and watches me leave before closing the door.

The drive is not long before I make it to the store and walk in. Grabbing the set of boxes, I walk past the flowers and can't help but pick up a bundle for Holly. They have lillies out and it being her favorite I can't resist getting her some. I grab a small car from the shelf by the check out line for Nicolas too, since he has found a liking for them after getting some from Holly.

With everything in the truck, I drive back to the house. All the while my mind is going over my small family and it feels beyond amazing to know I got my love and son at home. I look forward to the future and see what is to come for the three of us.
