Everything feels different and I guess in many ways it is. We got home and I washed all our sheets and clothing, before making food for us to eat. Once Nicolas went to sleep last night, I spent the night wrapping his gifts.

We had went to the shop and customers were happy to see us once more. Many had said they keep the well wishes up for him having known or heard. I am set for a few bookings already.

This morning came around and Nicolas has opened his gifts. He loved each one and is content on the floor. Looking over at the clock, I still have an hour before we open the shop up.

My mind has not settled down since we left yesterday from the hospital. Holly has been on my mind and even Nicolas has mentioned her many times. We are both lost without her already and it has only been twenty-four hours.

I could wait at the shop and see if she comes by since Holly does know where it is. That to me just don't feel right having her come to us. We need to go to her just as I said I would do.

"Hey Buddy. Would you like to go on a little adventure?"

Nicolas pops his head up. "Are we going to Holly?"

I chuckle. "Well we are going to try."

Nicolas is up and slipping his shoes on quickly and picks up his colors a second later.

I grab my wallet and keys. Within no time, I made sure Nicolas is buckled in the truck and we set out on the road. Pulling up to the hospital, we get out and walk in the entrance.

Once we are on the pediatric floor. I spot Jewels and wave to her when she sees us.

"Hey guys!" She smiles walking up to us and then guides us into a off room that is empty.

"Are you feeling okay?" She asks looking at Nicolas.

He nods with a smile. "We came to see Holly."

"I was hoping to catch her possibly to where I can ask her on a date and what to do for Nicolas's care to where we can be together and her not get in trouble." I whisper low.

Jewels looks at her watch. "Just one minute I will meet you out front."

I tell her where I parked and she nods.

Nicolas and I walk back out and to the truck waiting for Jewels. Who is walking out a split second later in a large jacket.

"I am so glad you came! She is missing you both horribly." Jewels gives us wide smiles.

"So what you need to do is speak with this person, she is the front desk receptionist for Dr. Moore. He will be able to tend to Nicolas's care from here on out unless he needs to be admitted but if that happens things will be easier for if you and her are seeing each other." Jewels hands a piece of paper over.

"Do we need to wait here for after her work shift is over? I don't want to go another day without seeing her." I ask.

"Me either." Nicolas pipes up.

Jewels thinks for a moment before she grins up to us.

"I got it. I will tell her that I want to spend the evening with her after work. Holly would never think twice of it because it is something we do all the time. The only slight difference is I will tell her that I am picking up the food for dinner and will be at her place right after. Instead of it being me, you both can show up with the food. I will even give you the money to cover dinner." Jewels starts writing down on the paper again.

"No, I will cover the food. Trust me this is something I want to do." I touch her hand to where she hears me while she keeps writing.

"Okay then. Here is her address, tonight if everything goes well her shift ends at five and will be home within twenty minutes easily. So I would normally show up with food around five thirty or so with how I get off work too." Jewels smiles, handing the paper over.

"Thank you so much Jewels."

"Anything to make sure my sister is happy. She has never been like she is other than with you two. So thank you." Jewels gives me a quick hug and then Nicolas one.

"I got to get back before my small break is over." She laughs and takes off in a run.

I get in the truck after helping Nicolas in. Looking over to him I smile and he is just beaming in his seat.

"We will get to see her again Daddy."

"That we will buddy. What should we order for take out tonight?"

Nicolas looks out the window, before he looks back to me.

"The restuarant that does meal boxes sound good and I could still have all that healthy food too."

My eyes do a double take at how he clearly thought of his answer. Pride swells through me on how he doesn't fight me on it but instead does what is needed.

"That sounds good." I nod.

"We already know Holly's favorite too." He laughs.

"That we do buddy." I laugh with him and start the truck up.

We park at the shop and get out, going in and opening up. Tony comes in and smiles giving Nicolas a hug and pat on my back.

The both of us get to taking photographs until lunch time. Nicolas works on the computer going through his schooling work for the day, before he pulls out his things from under the counter he has kept here to do.

I put in a call to Dr. Moore's office and get the care transferred over to them with ease. They never even asked the why to wanting to do so. I can only hope that Holly won't find out about it until I can tell her personally tonight. The last thing I want to do is have his medical care over her head to make her doubt dating me still.

"Time to close down Daddy." Nicolas smiles, putting his things away having watched the clock like I have the last hour waiting for the time to come for us to see Holly.

"It is buddy." I smile and get the lights turned off and the shop locked up.

Tony left out just a few minutes ago and now it is our turn. We jump in the truck and take off to get the food.
