The day of the concert finally arrived, the huge stadium was packed with over a million of audiences

From start to finish, it was lively, organized and successful

The stocks in Dazzle Entertainment had reached its highest peak

At that moment, no one ever doubted Herain Vergara's capabilities as the new president of the company

After the successful grand concert, Herain threw a celebration party to the employees of Dazzle as well as to the people who had contributed to its success

As Herain was having a girl talk with Elayne, the sound of the music for the dance suddenly started and everyone started pairing up

"Elayne, let's go for a dance" Hayden stated as she pulled Elayne to the dance floor

"Wait, nooo" Elayne uttered as she was dragged away

Herain sighed as she said "Just look at them, leaving me all alone"

Just then, Ishid suddenly appeared beside her as he said "May I have the honor to take you to the dance floor?"

Herain turned to look at him and was about to reach out her hand to hold Ishid's hand when Jax suddenly called out to her

"Herain!, don't you owe me a dance for helping you out" Jax stated as he stood before her

Before Herain could even respond, Harold suddenly showed up as he said "I believe Herain already had plans on having me for her first dance"

‘Wait a minute!, why are you guys showing up one by one?!’ Herain thought to herself

"So who is it?" Jax asked as the three of them gazed at Herain

‘At the count of three, let's run away’ Herain thought to herself

At that moment, everyone suddenly went silent

No one was talking, only the music can be heard

Herain was confused as she follow the gazes of everyone that was directed at the entrance of the banquet hall

The moment Herain laid her eyes on the man who just entered the hall, she was captivated just like everyone else

He wore a grey custom-made suit with his hair neatly swept back exposing his flawless attractive face

As Herain gazed at him in awe, he was walking towards her

"May I have this dance?" Rhaveir stated as he reached out his hand

Herain happily smiled and held his hand then they walked towards the center of the dance floor

"Why did you decided to come?" Herain asked as they started dancing together

"I can't miss out on my girlfriend's celebration of success" Rhaveir replied

Herain smiled as she said "Well you arrived right on time, your girlfriend was about to get taken away"

"Who would dare to?" Rhaveir asked

"Well some would, but they can't match you" Herain uttered with a grin

Rhaveir leaned closer and took a quick kiss on Herain's cheek as he said "You've became an expert on flirting with me"

Herain giggled as she said "I had to learn"

Meanwhile, Ishid, Harold and Jax were left gazing at Herain from a distance

“The next time we meet, I hope it's in a better situation”

‘You lied, this is the worst’ Ishid thought to himself

"Who is that guy?" Jax uttered

"Herain's boyfriend" Harold stated

Jax gazed at them with a pained expression as he said "They look good together"

Harold gazed at Herain as he said "She looks happy"

As the music stopped, Rhaveir suddenly kneeled down in front of Herain

"What are you doing?" Herain confusingly asked

Rhaveir suddenly pulled out a jewel box on his suit and presented a ring to Herain

Herain immediately gasped as she gazed at him

Rhaveir gently smiled as he said "Will you marry me?"

At that moment, tears flowed out on Herain's eyes as she nodded her head

Rhaveir placed the ring on her finger then he stood up and wrapped her in his embrace

Everyone in the hall shouted with cheers and congratulated Herain

Everyone except Harold, Ishid and Jax

Meanwhile, news of their engagement reached fast on Cerise's ears even before the celebration ended

Cerise ended the call and she threw her phone on the wall breaking it into pieces

"How dare you steal Rhaveir away from me?!" Cerise shouted in anger

The next day, Herain was happily sitting on her office chair while admiring the ring on her finger

"I'm gonna be married" Herain squealed as she adoringly gazed at her ring

Just then, there was suddenly a knock from her office door

Herain immediately composed herself as she said "Come in"

Herain was surprised at the person who just entered her office as she said "Why are you here?"

Cerise smiled as she said "I have some business with you"

"What is it?" Herain asked

Cerise handed her a folder containing information about Rhaveir and a genius doctor

"That genius doctor is my uncle" Cerise stated

"So what about it?" Herain asked

"Did Rhaveir fell in love with you after your personality changed?" Cerise uttered with a smile

"What?" Herain uttered

"I heard from people around you that you changed like a new person after your hospitalization due to your step-sister's attempted murder" Cerise stated

‘She had me investigated!’ Herain thought

Herain gently smiled as she said "What does that got to do with you?"

Cerise lightly laughed as she said "Nothing, I just heard something so intriguing"

"My genius uncle and Rhaveir once experimented a woman's body although I don't know the details, that alone was shocking" she added

"What?" Herain uttered

"I heard there is a forbidden room in White Wisteria that no one was allowed to even get close to" Cerise stated

"Why don't you check that out?, there might be some secrets you don't wanna know" Cerise uttered then walked out of her office

Herain clenched her fist as she said "Is she referring to me?"

Herain immediately got up from her seat and drove back to White Wisteria

As soon as she arrived, Herain rummaged through Rhaveir's office

After a long amount of time, she found a door key hidden under his desk

She spent hours looking for the right room in White Wisteria and finally found its match located next to the dark basement room

Herain entered inside and it was just a small dusty room

Herain coughed as she said "How many years has this room been left abandon?"

Every nook and crook in White Wisteria was always clean and organized thus Herain was shocked that Cerise was actually telling the truth

Inside the room, were only an old stack of books and documents piled up

‘Why are all of this medical stuff?’ she thought

"Please don't let what Cerise said be the truth" Herain uttered as she hoped

Just then, an old and dusty journal caught her eye

"This is not Rhaveir's handwriting" Herain uttered as she opened the journal

The moment Herain read the first sentence on the journal, she was shocked

‘Day 1: An 8 year old girl named Herain Vergara is the subject of our experimentation’

"What in the world?!" Herain uttered as she immediately flipped to the last page

Herain was even more shocked as she read the sentence on the last page

‘This young partner of mine does not seem to regret it. This is probably my last human experiment as a doctor’

Herain immediately closed the journal and took a deep breath then she opened it again and started reading it from the very first page until the end

A while later, Rhaveir returned back at White Wisteria

He went to his office as he was supposed to place the company's documents

The moment he opened the door, he was surprised to see that it was all in a chaos

Papers were everywhere and his organized pile of books were scattered as if a robber just passed by

Rhaveir immediately walked towards his desk and reach out his hand under it

"Where is the key?!" he uttered as he flipped the desk

His eyes wavered and his heart was beating so fast as he ran so fast towards the room next to the basement

The moment he arrived at the room, his feet stopped at the doorstep

"Herain" Rhaveir uttered

Herain looked up to him with anger in her eyes as she said "Was all of this the truth?"

"Listen to me first" Rhaveir uttered as he reached out his hand

Herain immediately slapped his hand away as she shouted "Get away from me!"

Tears started falling on her eyes as she said "You just made a fool out of me"

Rhaveir held her arm as he said "It's not like that"

Herain pushed him away as she said "From now on, I don't ever want to see your face again"

Herain walked past him then Rhaveir immediately grabbed her hand

Herain turned around and with all her force, she slapped him on the face

"Get your filthy hands away from me" Herain stated then ran away
