"Why are you back?" Jax uttered as he crossed his arm

"You made it sound like you don't want me back, weren't you mad when I suddenly went out on a vacation" Jax's manager replied

"Not really, the replacement manager was more capable than you" Jax calmly stated

"Well I'm sorry to disappoint you but I'll be the one managing you from now on" the manager responded

"Where is she now?" Jax asked

"I don't know, why would you ask?" the manager replied

"Well isn't she supposed to be your replacement for 3 months" Jax calmly stated

"I guess so, maybe she found a stable job she can work for life" the manager replied

‘Even I don't understand why she suddenly called me in the middle of my vacation telling me that she'd quit the job when she promised me a 3 months break with money’ the manager thought

"With your attitude, I can actually understand why" the manager mumbled

Jax opened his phone and made a call to Herain but it was not answered

"Get me her resume" Jax stated

Meanwhile, Herain was currently at the Vergara Mansion disguised as a maid

‘To make sure no one would suspect, I even wore the Felisha makeup’ Herain thought to herself

"It's still the same as in my memory, good thing those two are lazy enough to do some renovation" Herain mumbled under her breath

"Young Miss, I'll distract the other maids so you can take your time" Nanny Ririko stated with a smile

Herain nodded her head then stealthily went upstairs to Cory's room

As she entered her room, Herain looked around then walked towards Cory's desk

Herain smirked as she uttered "Careless woman, you're making things easy for me"

Herain opened Cory's laptop that was placed on her desk

Herain's lips curved up as soon as she was done using Cory's laptop

Afterwards she placed the audio recorder under her desk

Then got out of her room, she strode towards the room across and entered inside

"If I remember correctly, this is Aunt Lucy's room" she mumbled as she placed the last remaining audio recorder inside her night lamp

"If my father didn't have a mistress or an illegitimate child then life would have been much easier" Herain uttered with a sigh

Just then, the door to the room suddenly opened

"What is a maid doing in my room alone?" Lucy stated as she walked closed to Herain

"I'm a new maid madam and I was told to clean the second floor" Herain uttered as she politely bowed her head

"I didn't know my daughter was getting a new maid, anyway you can clean my room later so go out" Lucy casually stated as she walked to her bed

"Yes madam" Herain replied then walked out

As soon as Herain got down, Nanny Ririko immediately walked towards her

"Young Miss, how was it?" her nanny asked

"I have done it although Aunt Lucy saw me in her room but it should be fine since she didn't recognize me" Herain replied

"Is there anything else I can help you?" her nanny asked

"Nothing else, thank you for everything" Herain stated with a smile then bid her goodbye as she left the Vergara Mansion

As Herain was heading to Reign Company, she opened her phone and found 5 missed calls from Jax

"Why did he call me?" Herain mumbled under her breath

Herain sent a text message to Jax saying

“Is something wrong?, why did you call me?”

Then after she sent the message, her phone rang a call from Jax

"What is it?" Herain asked as she answered the call

"Are you worried that I'm jobless?" Herain teased as she heard no response from the other side

"Do you want to become an assistant manager?" Jax asked

Herain laughed as she said "No thank you, I'm good"

"If you're worried about the salary, it's the same as my manager" Jax uttered

"That's kind of you but I'm satisfied with my job right now" Herain replied

"Where are you working?" he asked

Herain smiled as she said "I'm helping Herain Vergara achieve her goal"

The other end was silent before saying "Are you going to betray me?"

"No, you said you'll give her 3 days to prove herself so I'm helping her gain your recognition" Herain replied

"Miss we're here" the driver uttered

"Well then I have to hang up now, take care" Herain uttered then ended the call

She got out of the car and went inside the huge building in front of her

Herain knocked on his office then peeked her head inside

Rhaveir was discussing something to Assistant Ryuo and Secretary Elayne when they heard the knock and turned to looked at Herain's little head peeking

"Come in" Rhaveir stated with a smile

Herain went inside and Rhaveir stood up from his seat then walked towards her

"What is it?" Rhaveir asked with a gentle look on his face

"Is my boyfriend free for a date?" Herain asked with a smile

"The president is going to have a lunch with a high ranked military official later" Assistant Ryuo politely stated

Rhaveir glared at Ryuo as he said "Postpone it"

"Where do you want to go?" he asked as he looked back at Herain with a soft gaze

"Oh no, if it's an important meeting with a distinguish person then let's go on a date next time" Herain uttered with a smile

Rhaveir caressed Herain's head as he said "My girlfriend always comes first"

He held Herain's hand and walked out of his office

As they got in the president's parking lot, Elayne and Assistant Ryuo immediately went to stop them

"I didn't mean to interrupt but the president needs to at least meet him after going on a date" Elayne politely stated

"Miss Herain, please allow the president to prioritize the company's benefits first" Assistant Ryuo stated

Rhaveir looked at Herain as he said "Get in the car"

Herain nodded her head then got inside the car

‘It must really be an important meeting since even Elayne followed us and tried to stop him’ Herain thought to herself

Rhavier coldly looked at them as he uttered "If you ever say this things in front of Herain again, then be prepared to lose your job"

Then he got in the car and drove away then Herain sent a text message to Elayne saying

‘I'll convince Rhaveir to go’

"How about you attend that meeting first before we go on a date" Herain uttered with a smile

Rhaveir looked at Herain as he said "Let's go on a date, where do you want to go?"

Herain can't help but feel happy since it was the first time in her life that someone made her the most important priority, even she herself can't do it

Herain smiled as she said "Let's go watch a movie"

Rhaveir nodded his head as he drove off to the cinema

Rhaveir handed Herain his card as he said "I'll buy the tickets, go buy something you want"

Herain immediately returned back his card as she said "You already put a huge sum of money in my bank account so I should at least spend it on our dates"

She then immediately walked away knowing Rhaveir would still insist on using his credit card

Afterwards they watched the movie with a warm atmosphere contrary to its horror genre

"Well that was fun" Herain commented as they got out of the room

"Where do you want to eat for lunch?" he asked

Herain smiled as she said "Let's go to that lunch meeting, I'll accompany you"

"Is that what you want?" Rhaveir asked as he held her hand

"I want what's best for my boyfriend" Herain responded with a smile

Rhaveir held her hand as they walked back to the car and went away

They arrived at a high class japanese styled restaurant where they entered a private room

As soon as Herain entered the room, she was immediately admiring of its sophisticated interior design

"You must have been busy, you young ones sure likes to arrive late" a man stated

Herain was following behind Rhaveir's huge figure so she peeked her head and looked at the man talking in front of him

It was a handsome man in his middle age wearing a black suit with a dignified aura all of over him

"Oh you brought someone with you" the man stated

"She will accompany me" Rhaveir calmly stated

The man grinned as he said "Take a seat, the food is getting cold"

Rhaveir pulled Herain's chair and they sat across them

As soon as Herain's gaze landed at the person sitting across the table she was in an awe

Beside the dignified middle aged man was a young woman with a fair skin and a beautiful face

Her cheery red lips, her radiant long brown hair paired with her captivating light brown eyes, her slender neck that was exposed by her sleeveless white dress

Everything about her screams innocence and daintiness

‘Her beauty is as same as mine although in physical aspects we look nothing alike’ Herain thought to herself

"Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Cerise Ozvald" she stated with a smile

Herain responded with a smile of her own as she said "I'm Herain Vergara, nice to meet you"

"My daughter Cerise have been growing more beautifully since the last time you were together, don't you have anything to say?" the middle aged man beside her stated as he looked at Rhaveir

‘Is she his lover?’ Herain thought the moment she heard it

Herain looked at Rhaveir as she asked "Is she your ex-girlfriend?"

Rhaveir calmly shook his head as he said "She's not, her family has been acquainted with mine so we happen to met a couple of times"

When Herain looked back across her, she can feel the prickly gaze of the man beside the lovely lady

"I almost forgot to introduce myself, I'm Charles Ozvald" he stated as he looked at Herain

"A father of my lovely daughter Cerise and a military officer" he added

‘It must be the genes, this good looking man and his beautiful daughter’ Herain thought to herself

"So why did you insist on having a lunch meeting?" Rhaveir calmly uttered

"If it's something important, we could have discussed it more professionally at my office" he added

‘Is he that oblivious?, it's obvious this man in front of you is setting you up with his beautiful daughter’ Herain thought to herself

"Our families had been meeting casually in the past, so as the only person left in the Wisteria household you should continue the tradition" Charles stated

‘OMG!, he's the only person who talks to Rhaveir like that’ Herain thought

Rhaveir calmly gaze at him as he said "Seasons change, I'm busy as it is so I don't have time to casually meet around"

With a lovely smile on her face, Cerise turned to her father as she said "Don't worry dad, I'll be working at Reign so I'll have a lot of time to meet Rhaveir from then on"

"Well I'll be expecting you'll treat my daughter right under your management" Charles calmly stated

‘They're acting as if I don't exist here, I'll show you’ Herain smirked at the thought

Herain gaze at Rhaveir as she said "I'm full, should I go back to White Wisteria first?"

Rhaveir looked at the people across them as he said "Well then we shall head out first since you have already laid out your thoughts"

"One more thing, your daughter have to go through the hiring process just like everyone if she wants to work at Reign" he added

‘Wow my boyfriend is so cool’ Herain admiringly thought

Then Rhaveir stood up from his seat and held Herain's hand as they walked out

"That man is getting tougher, I'm sorry you have to deal with that" Charles stated as he reached out to his hand patting her daughter's head

"Don't worry daddy, no one has ever resisted my charms" Cerise replied with a smile

"Are you sure you don't want anything else but that man?" Charles worriedly asked

"I already told you daddy, Cerise had only laid her eyes on Rhaveir Wisteria" Cerise replied with a smile

‘That was a success but to be honest I only ate a little amount back there’ Herain thought to herself as they drove away

Just then, Rhaveir suddenly stopped the car at an Italian restaurant

"Why did you stop?" Herain asked

"Let's continue our date" Rhaveir replied

"Why did you order a lot of food?" Herain asked in surprise as soon as she saw a lot of dishes placed on their table

"You don't seem to like the food there since you only touched a little bit of it so you must eat a lot this time since this is the dishes that you like" he replied

Herain gazed at the food in front of her and sure enough it was the dishes she liked to eat back when they travel at Italy

‘So he was looking at me while I was occupied admiring at the father and daughter pair’ Herain thought to herself

"My boyfriend is the best" Herain cheerfully stated as she placed a piece of food in her mouth

A smile crept up on Rhaveir's face as he gently gaze at Herain cheerfully eating her food

After they were done eating, Rhaveir drove Herain back to White Wisteria then he returned back to his company
