When Jax entered the patient's room, Herain greeted him with a smile as he walked in

"Jax, are you alright?" Herain asked

"Since you took the hit, of course I would be okay" Jax replied with a sigh

"What did the doctor say?" he asked as he surveyed her body

Herain had a bandage wrapped around her little forehead

"The doctor said it won't leave a scar but it would take me at least 3 days for the wound at the back of my head to be fully healed" she replied

‘There were many woods that hit me but it's not actually that heavy, I just have a weak body I guess’ she thought

"Are there any injuries aside from the wound at the back of your head?" he asked

Herain shook her head as she said "I only got bruises in my back so I should be alright"

Jax sighed as he uttered "Your job is to only handle my work affairs, it doesn't involve on throwing your life in the line"

"Jax is adorable" Herain uttered with a smile

"Did you lose your mind when it was hit" he stated

"If you are thankful just say ‘thank you’, you don't have to say such nonsense like it's not part of my job or something" she replied

Herain smiled as she said "You said I was like your mother just because of my warm hands, so as your manager and substitute mother I will take care of you like my own child"

Jax got closer to Herain and sat beside her

‘Maybe the reason I'm drawn to her, is because I can't tell what she's thinking at all, she has this mysterious aura around her’ Jax thought

Jax suddenly flick her forehead as he said with a smile "How can someone younger than me become my mother"

‘Shut up heart!, shut up!, even if Jax is undeniably handsome right now he can't compare to Rhaveir right’ she thought

Herain sighed as she said "It's alright to admire your good looks right"

Jax smiled as he teased "Why?, did I just got your heart beating so fast?"

Just then, the room's door suddenly opened and Harold rushed in

"I heard you got injured, what happened?" he asked as worries covers in his eyes

When Harold saw that she was beside another man, his worried look suddenly vanished as he glared at Jax

Unlike Rhaveir, Harold is an open book

He openly expresses his feelings and Herain can easily read him

Herain smiled at Harold as she said "This is Jax, the actor I am working for"

"I'm sorry, did I got you worried?" she asked

Jax stood up and Harold warmly smiled at Herain

"You did not answer my call so I was worried and got back to the set then they told me you were sent here" Harold replied

Harold then walked to Herain and sat down to the bed then he embrace her

Herain looked up to Jax who was calmly looking elsewhere

"Jax, my things are back in the set, would you do me a favor and bring it back here?" Herain earnestly asked

‘I'm done for, if Rhaveir learns that I was injured because of you’ she thought

Herain wanted to get her phone immediately to take action before Rhaveir learns she was disguising another identity

However, to Jax it sounded like she was trying to have some alone time with the man hugging her

Jax calmly nodded his head then went out

His assistant immediately approached him as he got out and entered his car

Jax glanced at the things beside him, when his manager was sent to the hospital his assistant placed all of her things in his car including the bouquet of tulips

Somehow as he stare at it, he found it irritating to watch

Jax grabbed the bouquet of tulips and strode outside then he threw it on the garbage

Meanwhile, Harold was still hugging Herain even when Jax already went out

"You can let me go now, I won't run away" Herin stated

Harold let her go as he gaze at Herain with a smile on his face

Herain turned serious as she said "Listen carefully, aside from my friends you are the only one who knows that I am putting on a fake identity"

"I'm planning to get back Dazzle by being Jax's manager so help me conceal my identity okay?" she added

Harold nodded his head as he held Herain's hand

"Also when there's a lot of people, don't act so close to me so they won't figure out, Jax doesn't gossip so I'm safe just now" Herain stated

Somehow, even though Harold was smiling he was looking down

Herain grabbed his hand tightly as she said with a smile "Because it's you, I can trust you knowing my secret"

‘Darling I'm sorry for holding Harold's hand, I promise this is only an act so that he won't tell anyone about this identity’ she thought

Harold immediately brightened up as he said "As long as I can meet up with you in private, I'm satisfied"

Herain smiled then ruffled his hair as she said "Harold grew up to be such a good boy"

Harold held her hand as he said "I'm an adult now so Herain can stop treating me like a child"

"Alright, I have something to ask you" Herain replied

"What is it?" Harold asked

"That time when I met you again, why were you in my step sister's office?" Herain asked

"Our company is withdrawing the partnership on Dazzle so I went to discuss it with the new CEO" Harold replied

"Why?" Herain asked

The Frinchester and Vergara household had long been partners in business even before Harold and Herain was born

"My mother personally wanted it and I have received an information that Dazzle is getting involved with an illegal business" he stated

"An illegal business?" Herain asked

"I don't know what kind of illegal business were they involved, that's why I decided to withdraw the partnership" Harold replied

‘Since someone new is managing Dazzle and getting involved in dirty business then it's understandable that they would void the agreement’ she thought

"Harold, is it alright if I ask you for a favor?" Herain asked as she gaze at him

"Of course, what is it?" Harold immediately replied

"Can you not withdraw the partnership?" Herain earnestly asked

"If the Franchester stopped supporting Dazzle then things would get difficult, at least give me the time to strengthen Dazzle's foundation when I took over by then you can void the long-term partnership between our company" she added

Harold smiled as he said "Of course, if you're the one managing the company then I wouldn't mind having partnership with you for a lifetime"

Herain chuckled as she jokingly said "If you say those things, I might end up falling for you"

Harold grinned and with a bright cheerful face he said "I'm happy"

Herain sighed as she said "Don't show me that kind of expression, it really makes me guilty that I can't respond to your pure affection"

Harold gently gaze at Herain as he uttered "You don't have to respond to it right away, I can wait until you're ready"

"Just let me freely love you, then I'll be satisfied" he added

‘Your love is so pure that it makes me so mad of myself for not telling you the truth right now’ Herain thought

"I'm sorry that I can't provide more information to help you, I'll look into it more" Harold stated

"No need, you have already helped me enough so let me handle the rest" Herain replied with a smile

‘I'm already feeling guilty as it is, I can't have you do a lot of things for this cruel me’ Herain thought

‘It's possible that Jax might know this illegal business Cory is involved in’ she thought to herself

"Alright thank you for the info, since you came back to handle your family's company you must be very busy" Herain stated

"I don't want to worry your family and your employees so I think you should return back, I also have something to do" she added

"Can't I stay with you for a little longer?" Harold earnestly asked

"After Jax returns, I will immediately be discharged since it's nothing serious so I hope you can understand" Herain stated with a smile

Harold sighed as he replied "Alright, if you ever need my help just call me and I'll come running to you"

As Harold got out of the room, Jax was on the side leaning on the wall

Jax walked past him as he entered the room and immediately close the door as he got in

"Why does Herain have to be so beautiful, she attracts a lot of insects" Harold sighed then walked away

Jax walked towards Herain and handed her bag with her other belongings inside

"Thank you Jax, I have to go now" Herain stated as she got out of the hospital bed

"You still need to rest, are you going to follow your boyfriend?" Jax stated as he grabbed her hand

"What boyfriend?, plus I'm going home" Herain replied

"You don't have to lie at something so obvious" Jax uttered

‘Does he think I'm Harold's girlfriend?’ she thought

"You know I really hate it when someone lies to me so you better think twice if you don't want to anger me" he stated

‘What is wrong with him?!, I'm starting to get irritated’ she thought

"I really have to go home, someone is waiting for me back there" Herain replied as she removed Jax's hand

"Are you really not going to meet up with your boyfriend?" Jax asked

Herain sighed as he looked at Jax and said "You told me not to involve my private life with my work, work is over so it's time for me to return"

Herain grabbed her bag then said "One more thing, Harold is not my boyfriend"

"Liar" Jax uttered

"I won't convince you that I'm not since my private affairs doesn't really concern you, I just hope to maintain a professional relationship" she replied

Herain then got out of the room and hurriedly walked outside

As she was waiting for a cab, Jax suddenly appeared in front of her with his car

"Get in, I'll take you there" Jax stated

"I'm alright with taking a cab" Herain replied

"So you won't give me a chance to apologize?" Jax uttered gazing at her

Herain sighed then entered the car as she said "Take me to a dessert shop"

"Aren't you going home?" Jax asked

"I will, after I bought a cake" Herain replied

"You don't have to bring me home, just to the dessert shop will do, I can't afford to have you seen returning a woman to her own home" she added

"Felisha, I just want you to know that I really don't like it when I don't have any authority on something" Jax stated

"I know, you don't like the idea of Harold taking up your manager's time" Herain uttered

"I'm sorry, I am to blame on this one" Herain apologized

"I also apologize, I might have overreacted a bit" Jax stated

"Well I don't really mind if you have a boyfriend or something" Jax casually stated

"Harold is just a friend but I do hope to introduce my boyfriend to everyone someday" Herain chuckled

‘Everyone would be shocked if they learned that the mighty president of Reign is my boyfriend’ Herain happily thought

Jax laughed as he said "Are you imagining of having an extraordinary boyfriend?"

‘I don't have to imagine because I already have one’ Herain thought

"Well every woman has that prince charming they want to have" Herain replied

"And what's yours?" Jax asked

Just then, they finally arrived at the desert shop

"That's a secret I don't want anyone to know" Herain winked then got out of his car

"Be careful on your home" she stated as she waved her hand then went inside the desert shop

"If I didn't know any better, she's really good at flirting" Jax uttered with a smirk as he drove away

Herain immediately went into the washroom and removed her disguise

Without her short wig and glasses accompanied with heavy makeup, she looks very lovely and innocent paired with her bubbly dress

However, with the white bandage that is wrapped in her head she looks like a clumsy little girl

Herain bought a dark chocolate flavored cake and immediately hailed a cab

She took out her phone from the bag and called Elayne as she headed to Reign Company

"Elayne listen carefully, I got into an accident and gained an injury but don't worry it's not that big" Herain stated

"What?!" Elayne answered with shock

"I'm heading towards Reign right now, I will tell Rhaveir what happened but I won't tell him all of it" Herain stated

"So if ever he ordered someone to investigate it, help me keep that person shut up" she added

"Alright, I got it" Elayne replied then the call ended afterwards

"If it's regarding Herain then he will only order someone who is excellent at that kind of job" Elayne mumbled under her breath

‘Gathering information is my expertise but in Reign my rival for that is his assistant, so it's either me or him’ Elayne thought to herself

It was already 7pm when Herain arrived at Reign Company, she directly went into the top floor to the president's office

She knocked on the huge door but there was no response

"Rhaveir, can I come in?" Herain uttered

"Come inside" he replied
