"He has two secretaries?" Herain asked

"I manage his foreign affairs" she calmly replied

"No wonder I have never seen you before" Herain stated

"Now that I have seen you in person, I guess I can understand why he would let a toy like you stay here" Elayne said as she folded her arms

"Huh?" Herain uttered with confusion

"He must have enjoyed seeing your dumb expression, I bet he had fun watching you doing stupid things" she commented as she scorned

Herain was surprised by her sudden arrival and on top of that she even seem to hate her

Herain stood up from the sofa as she said "You carelessly barged in and even mocked Rhaveir's treasured little doll, then you must have the confidence to oppose him?"

"Unlike you insignificant people who needs his permission to enter here, I on the other hand can enter here whenever I like" Elayne proudly responded

Herain was starting to get irritated by her sharp remarks

"It seems you're quite jealous that Rhaveir took more interest on me rather than you" Herain stated with a smirk

"Know your place, I've been with him for 10 years and our bond is not that easy to break compared to yours" she replied with full confidence

Herain smirked as she said "Do you want to test who weighs the heart of the president the most?, is it his most brilliant secretary that have worked with him for years or his little doll that is only supposed to be played just to pass the time. I'm curious."

"Do you even deserve to propose such arguments towards me?" Elayne scorned

"I guess I have to show you then, how much Rhaveir favors me" Herain proudly stated

"Heh goodluck with that and may I remind you to refrain calling the president by his first name, just so you would know he does not like it" Elayne stated then turned around

With heels clicking to the floor, Elayne proudly walked out at White Wisteria

A second later, Vivian arrived and immediately walked towards Herain

"I just happened to encounter Secretary Elayne Monreal on my way in, did something happen Miss?" Vivian asked

"You know her?" Herain asked as she sat back on the sofa

"Of course, when I was a freshman on college they were my seniors and they're very popular considering their intelligence, status and good looks" Vivian replied as she sat across Herain

"Were they a couple?" Herain asked

"Oh no, they were a triad of elite and they got close since their first year in college" she replied

"A triad of elite?" she asked

"The President, Elayne and Hayden, they were the only ones who got close to the president" Vivian explained

"It seems that Elayne has feelings for Rhaveir" Herain commented

"That is what everyone also thought but it's hard to know if there's a spark since the president always remained stoic" she replied

"Elayne became his secretary, what about Hayden?" Herain curiously asked

"Miss do you not watch the television?, Hayden is a very famous actor" Vivian enthusiastically responded

"He's rich, talented and on top of that he's very handsome, if I do say so myself he can easily bewitch any woman" Vivian added with admiration

"Well I guess he seems familiar" Herain casually replied

"Well one thing I'm sure is that Elayne hated me" she added with a sigh

"Did Miss do something bad?" Vivian asked

"How could you say that?, I was just minding my own business then she's suddenly giving me such harsh remarks" Herain annoyingly stated

"Well I guess it's a relief that Miss Herain didn't cause any trouble" Vivian stated with a smile

"You think I'm such a violent woman?" Herain replied with her arms crossed

"Well you were called the Violent Maiden by some" Vivian said with a giggle

Herain sighed then stood up from her seat

"I'm going to a dessert shop, I have to redeem myself from that annoying nickname" she stated as she walked away

"Should I go with you Miss?" Vivian asked as she followed Herain

"No need, I'll stop by at his office" she replied

"Why?" Vivian asked

"I want to take risks and prove to that Elayne how Rhaveir cares for me" she responded confidently

"Alright, take care on your way Miss" Vivian stated as she watched Herain entered the car

"By taking risks, does Miss intend to make Secretary Elayne jealous?" Vivian mumbled to herself

At Reign Company, Inside his office

Rhaveir was currently signing some business papers that Elayne brought while Hayden was lounging on the sofa

"Why are you still here?, Isn't it time for you to return back" Elayne stated as he glanced at Hayden

"That's harsh, my schedule is free for the next days plus we rarely get together nowadays" Hayden casually replied

"You even rushed back here when I told you he borrowed my villa in Greece for a girl" he added as he laugh

"I have done my job properly so I returned, there's no other reason to it" Elayne calmly replied

"Then how about we get lunch together?, it's been so long since we've chatted" Hayden suggestively smiled

"What are you?, a girl?" Elayne scoffed

"Jeez I know you like it too" Hayden teased

"If you two are done, you can now go" Rhaveir casually stated

Just then, Assistant Ryuo entered the office as he said "President, Miss Herain is here to see you"

Rhaveir glance at his assistant as he calmly said "Let her in"

Herain entered the office and saw Rhaveir sitting on his chair while looking at some papers and next to him standing was Elayne

"I'll wait until you're done" Herain stated as he sat on the sofa across Hayden

"It's my first time meeting you, I'm Hayden" he stated as he reaches out his hand

'Indeed, Vivian was right when she said he can bewitch any woman however he's not on Rhaveir's level yet' she thought to herself

The man in front of her was indeed very handsome but compared to Rhaveir

Herain could proudly say that Rhaveir's pheromones is much stronger than anyone else she'd met before

Thus, Herain did not feel any attraction to the bewitching actor

Herain smiled and reached out her hand for a shake as she said "Herain Vergara, nice to meet you"

Rhaveir stood up from his chair and walked towards them as he casually sat next to Herain

Herain reverted back her hand as she look at Rhaveir

"Why are you here?" he asked

Herain smiled as she said "I brought a chocolate cake, do want to have some Mr. President?"

Elayne took a long stride towards them and sat beside Hayden

"The president dislikes sweet foods, he had never eaten anything that contains a lot of sugar" Elayne calmly stated as she gaze at them

Herain was silently blaming herself for not knowing his preference before taking risk on coming at his company

Herain had a disappointed look on her face as she said "I guess I should have asked you what you like before coming here"

"I'll eat it" Rhaveir stated as he grabbed the box of chocolate cake from Herain's hands

Herain was surprised and she immediately said "You don't need to Mr. President, I don't want you to eat something you dislike"

Rhaveir gaze at her as he said "I didn't say I dislike it and why are you suddenly so formal to me now?"

"You used to call me Rhaveir" he stated as he opens the box

"Well I really do prefer calling you Rhaveir but secretary Elayne told me you do not like to be called by your first name" Herain replied

Rhaveir glanced at Elayne and it immediately made her nervous

"You never let anyone call you by your first name and yet this girl was casually saying it" Elayne explained as she gaze at Rhaveir

Rhaveir reverted back his gaze to Herain as he said "Then you're an exception"

Upon hearing this, Herain was rejoicing deep inside which is in contrast to the shock that Hayden and Elayne had

Rhaveir took a bite on the chocolate cake as he said "It's sweet"

"Is it a good thing or a bad thing?" Herain asked

Rhaveir gently patted her head in response and Herain was grinning from ear to ear unable to stop her rapid heartbeat

"By the way, what's your relationship with Elayne aside from her being your secretary?" Herain asked

Hearing this, Elayne glared at Herain however Herain remained calm as he gaze at Rhaveir

"She's just a secretary, why?" Rhaveir replied

Herain looked at Rhaveir innocently as she said "I see, then why is she the only one who doesn't need permission from you to enter White Wisteria?"

Rhaveir gave Elayne a side-eye as he said "Did you enter White Wisteria without my permission?"

"It was something important so I didn't have the time to ask" Elayne explained trying to contain her anger from showing

"Make sure to inform me next time no matter how important it is" he calmly stated

Rhaveir looked at Herain as he asked "Why do you ask this?"

Herain smiled as she said "I'm just worried that my owner would lose interest on a toy doll like me, after all Elayne is a very admirable woman"

Elayne glanced at Herain with mixed feelings

Rhaveir remained silent and continued to gaze at her

"Am I being too selfish?" Herain asked trying to look adorable

"You can be selfish whenever you want, I won't lose my interest" he collectedly respond

Before coming to his office, Herain had it all planned of the things she have to say and the possible responses of Rhaveir from good to bad

She even practiced her facial expressions to look natural

However, she never expected that the result was much better than she thought

Thus, she decided to reward Rhaveir for making her heart race more than usual

"Are you coming home tonight?" Herain happily asked

"Why?" Rhaveir calmly replied

"I want to cook dinner for you, just like you did for me" Herain stated with a smile

"This guy cooked for you?!" Hayden asked in astonishment

Herain looked at Hayden as she said with a gentle smile "Yup, although it was just simple dishes but it was very delicious"

"I'll be back at 9" Rhaveir calmly stated

Herain gaze back at him as she cheerfully asked "Is grilled steak alright with you?"

Rhaveir nodded his head and Herain was overjoyed

Seeing the girl smiling brightly at him, Rhaveir's heart warmed up

Herain stood up as she happily said "Then I guess I'll be going to the mall now to buy some ingredients"

Herain cheerfully walked out in his office and immediately goes to the mall

Hayden and Elayne who was left behind was in a total confusion that they went silent for a while

After Herain goes out, Rhaveir immediately returned back to his seat and continued reading the paperworks

Hayden gaze at Rhaveir as he said "Are you really not in a relationship with that woman?, wait! even if you really are in a relationship, my friend wouldn't do that!, are you a fake?"

Rhaveir ignored Hayden as he casually said "Go call my assistant"

Hayden nudge Elayne's arm as she was still in a daze

She walked out emotionless as she call for Assistant Ryuo and immediately returned back to her own office

"What's with that woman?, I get that she's beautiful but you never reacted that way to anyone no matter how stunningly gorgeous they are" Hayden stated

Hayden was still unable to grasp of the event that just happened right before his eyes

Assistant Ryuo entered the office as he said "You called for me sir?"

"Adjust my schedule, I'll be leaving work at 8:30" he stated

"Yes sir" Assistant Ryuo replied without further questions

This once again left Hayden speechless

"Are you really pushing your work away just so you could return to her for dinner?" Hayden asked with amazement

"I'm busy, leave" Rhaveir calmly replied

Hayden had no other choice but to leave with questions unanswered

"Even I think I'm being unusual" he muttered to himself
