《My Morphine [Wade Wilson]》[5]

A couple of weeks go by, I start adapting to life here at the compound. I still had a coupe authority issues with Stryker, but not enough for him to want me gone, just enough for him to not like me as much as his other..."employees". I've been training, every day, alternating between Wade and James. They stopped going easy on me once they found out I could heal as fast as I could, of coarse Wade didn't like the idea of wounding me, jame didn't hesitate though, he said it was for the best, I agreed.
I start my days in the dining area with Chris and his morning paper, and usually end up hanging out with Fred or John around the common area, movies, chess, or some other bored game I'm not good at. The guys all really seem to be ok with me being here, even Victor offered to help me if I needed it. Zero however seemed like he is just indifferent to me being here, he doesn't really speak to me, and likes to keep to himself unless Stryker is around, I swear he would lick his boots clean if Stryker asked.
Anyway, right now I'm laying back in my bed, listening to the records John let me borrow to keep in my room. I haven't really had any time to myself recently. Wade usually sneaks in once in a while, to snuggle, talk, ask about how I'm liking my time playing military dog. I found out that he really wants to be a mercenary, but when Stryker approached him for the team, he figured this was as close as he was going to get, and he saw it as kind of a free training thing. His sence of humor really helped me a lot here. There was still one thing ripping at the back of my mind. I was curious about my brother, how he was doing...
I heard my door open and shut softly, I turned seeing Wade sitting down two glasses of mountain dew. I smiled when he laid down in bed beside me. "You're a sweet heart when you want to be, ya know." I said laying on my head on his chest.
He wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "Only to you baby, only to you." HE said kissing my forhead. We laid there in silence listening to the music on the record player, the sound was wonderful. The last mission we went on, it was a little disturbing. I couldn't question Stryker, for fear of him banishing me from the compoud, the guys....from Wade. "So what do you have planned for today?" he asked leaning his chin o my head.
I laughed. "Do you really think I have any plans?" I asked sitting up in my bed and lighting a cigarette.
"You really should slow down." He said taking a drag from mine.

"Healing factor..." I said shrugging. "The truth is, I"ve never had any trouble with my smoking." I kissed his shoulder. He says it feels wierd when I kiss him there, but I know he loves when I adore his muscles, his body. UP until this point though, theres been no mention of a relationship, or what "we" are exactly. I just kind of go with it though.
"Well I need you to come downstairs with me" He said grabbing my hand, pulling me up off the bed.
"Where are we going?" I asked laughing.
He through me over his shoulder "No time." He said. I laughed the whole way down into the dining area.
He put me down and I smiled. The whole room was dimly lit, the table in the back was made up, and two roses were sat in a vase in the center. He wrapped his arms around me from behind and laid his chin on my shoulder. "I figured you could use a nice relaxing dinner after the mission. You still kinda seem shaken up." He said kissing my cheek. He lead me over to the table, pulled my chair out for me, and sat me down very gentlemenly. "I," He kissed my cheek again. "Will be right back." And with that he disappeared in the kitchen.
I smiled looking at the two beautiful flowers on the table, He really went through some trouble doing this, and making sure the guys wouldn't bother us. Just then he came back out carrying two plates, He sat mine down and I gasped a littled. "Wow, Chicken Parm, very nice Wade." I said smiling. He sat his down and joined me at the table.
"Well I try." He said laughing. "I guess I'm just too charming for my own good." He said shrugging. We shared a laugh and started eating. "So I have to ask something." He started, I nodded. "Have you ever killed anyone before?" He asked.
I kinda stopped eating for the moment. "Not before I joined this team, no." I said poking at my food with my fork. " I never thought i would have any reason to, I mean, Before you. I kind of kept to myself." I said quietly. “I didn't want to fight, I didn't even want anyone to know what I was.” I kept my eyes on the food in front of me.
Wade sighed and took my hand in his own from across the table. “It takes a while to get used to, but if it ever comes to that moment, and you can't do it, you can turn to me.” He said sincerely.
“I shouldn't have to ask you to kill someone because I'm a coward wade.”
“It doesn't mean you're a coward.” He said. “What we are, its normal to have to take someone's life, everyone in this world is against us.” his grip got a little more tense. “We have to fight to stay alive.” He shook his head. “But thats not what tonight is about.” He smiled looking back up to me. “We've been really close for about a month now right?” He asked.

“Well yeah, sure.” I answered shrugging. “More than close, I would say.” I laughed.
He smiled. “Well I wanted to ask you first before I just go assuming.” He paused. “Are we...together?” He asked giving me the most adorable look.
“Well, I was hoping you would tell me.” I said with a light laugh. “But sence you're asking I'm gonna say that you're as confused as I am?” He nodded and I laughed louder. “Well then...yeah! I guess we are.” He laughed with a sigh of reliefe.
“Good.” He leaned back. “I thought I was just the cuddle creep for a while.” he said. I gave him a wierd look. “well thats not the point, like anyone would complain about being next to this.” He said rubbing his abs giving me [a hilarious!] mock sexy pose. We laughed together and I got up to go sit on his lap.
“I'm glad thats settled.” I said nodding.
“Same here.” He kissed my shoulder and then got the most eveil smirk I've seen him accomplish so far. “So...your bedroom or mine?” He asked as his smile grew wider. I laughed
“I guess yours?” I asked. He nodded, through me back of his shoulder and starting running up the steps. I was laughign the entire way, he really was romantic...in his own wierd way. “I'm getting used to this mode of transportaion ya know.” I said pooking his butt.
He laughed. “Good, because whenever I want you from now on, this is how you'll know.” he said as we enetered his room. See? Romantic. . .in his own special way.
The next morning, I walked out of Wade's room in one of his shirts and a pair of booty shorts. I pulled my hair back in a messy bun and headed down for breakfast. This though, Chris wasn't there reading his paper, it was James, drinking his coffee and smoking his mornign cigar.
“Wheres Chris?” I asked joining him.
He looked up, and gave me a smile. “Stryker needed him this morning.” he said still smiling.
“Well,” I said lighting a smoke of my own. “You seem to be in a good mood this morning.”
“You look adorable when your hair is a mess like that.” He said laughing,.
I laughed too. “Well I spent the night in Wade's room. . .” his look changed from happy to serious.
“So I guess you two are finally serious eh?” He asked. I noodded with a smile. “Blyss,” He started in a fatherly tone. “I should warn you.” He leaned forward, the lecture was about to begin. “Dating someone on this team, having feelings for someone when you're a part of something like this...can be heart breaking.” he said. His eyes...were so sad now. “it can be ripped from you, or him in the blink of an eye.” he added.
“James....I....”
“Just listen, ok?” I nodded. “If it ever comes down to it, and I hope it doesn't for your sake, that Wade was captured...or worse...” I lowered my gaze when he said that. “Its going to make you want to react irrationally. It'll get you killed.” I nodded, completely understanding what he was telling me. “And god forbid it ever happens, but I really think if something serious were to happen to you...Wade may kill everyone around him, without a second thought...It'll just be bad for everyone involved ok?”
I sighed, he squeezed my hand. “I understand.” I said quietly.
“I didn't want to turn you off the idea, you make him happy....although I don't really care for him. When hes talking to you, hes not talking to me, which I am just extatic about, believe me.” I smiled half heartedly. “Just be careful. Understand what you're getting into.” he warned.
“Thanks James.” I said getting up from my seat. I sulked back upstairs, keeping my arms wrapped around myself gently, I found my way back into Wade's room and sat in a desk chair, staring out the window. I sighed heavily and looked over to Wade's sleeping body. I smiled contented, and thought about what James had said. “If anything happened to you...I wouldn't know what to do with myself” I thought sadly. “You were the first friend I've had in a long time, the first person I cared for since Bryson, and the one person I trust enough to give myself to.” I sniffled wiping my eyes. “I don't wanna be a burdon to you in combat...” I cleared my throat and shook my head. “Maybe I won't be a distraction...maybe I'm worrying too much...guess I'll have to wait and see whenever we fight next...I'll just be careful” Just then Wade stirred and opened his eyes.
“Theres the most beautiful person in the world.” He said smiling.
I smiled back. “Aww, you're the sweetest.” I said blowing him a kiss.
He laughed and shook his head. “I was talking to that handesome devil in the mirror.” he said flexing. We both shared a lauhg and I lunged over to the bed wrestling with him, just having fun. “Please...” I thought while he was holding me “don't disappear on me Wade...”

I am going to post the first few chapters of a story I have been fooling around with. The main character is a bit OP, but completely clueless about his power. This is a fantasy type story, and I may have missed some of the tags. Description Toric thought he was a pretty normal kid, with a normal and boring backstory, but he was wrong. Follow his adventures as he learns the truth about his history, and discovers exactly how very far he has to go in order to embrace his destiny.
