"Do you believe in reincarnation?"

I accidentally drop my pen and I look at Mrs. Kang. Seriously? Is that part of our lesson for today? My classmates started to create some noise, telling their opinions.

"Reincarnation is a belief in Hinduism wherein they believed that a person can be born again in a different body after they die. This commonly happens when a person has unfulfilled promises or unfinished business when he or she is still alive. Some even believed that the birthmarks you have are signs that you are possibly reincarnated." Mrs. Kang Said and she looked at me.

I felt something weird and kinda woeful. I don't know why.

"Do you wanna hear a story about reincarnation?" Mrs. Kang asked and everyone agreed.

"Hundred years ago, in 1077, the son of King Chan Ji. Eun-Tak accidentally fell in love with Kim Shin, a son of one of the servers of the royalties. Their love was forbidden so that they are secretly seeing each other. Their families are disagree on them but it's not a barrier because they really love each other." She said and a smile formed on her face.

I don't know why but our Professor was acting so weird today. She kept staring at me while telling the story.

"What will happen to them ma'am?"

The class is quiet because they are all interested in what will happen next.

"The King already warned her daughter that she must end her affair with Shin or else, he will kill the young man." Mrs. Kang continued.

"But Eun-Tak followed her heart and that is to love Shin. She disobeyed her father for the sake of her love for the young man. Everything went well in their secret relationship not until..."

"Not until?"

"Not until the King caught the two lovers. The guards quickly arrest Shin and beat him in front of Eun-Tak. Her heart broke into pieces seeing her lover being beaten by the guards in front of her."

"Eun-Tak's father immediately gave her a sword and commanded her to kill Shin but she can't do it."

I felt so scared as if i'm in the story.

"And instead of killing Shin, she kills herself instead." I heard some sobs from others and I didn't notice that my tears were falling too.

"Ji Eun-Tak died on February 14, 1077. But before she died, she promised to marry and love Shin 'til the end. She promises that she will do everything so that their love story will continue."

It's like my heart is crushed into pieces while listening to Mrs. Kang.

"And on December 18, 1810, Helena Flores was born. She was allegedly the reincarnated Ji Eun-Tak. She was reincarnated as a beautiful filipina and based on her statement, she remembered everything when she was still alive as Ji Eun-Tak. She still remembered how she met Shin. How she fell with him. And how she kills herself just to save Shin. She has a birthmark on her neck that was believed to be a scar where Eun-Tak killed herself."

"Ma'am, please continue so that we will know what will happen next!"

"But sadly, Helena is in the cruise ship, travelling to Spain, which leads her to death on February 14, 1856, the same date of Eun-Tak's death."

Everyone is sobbing and crying silently while listening to Mrs. Kang's story.

"If we are going to think of the date, Eun-Tak and Helena both died on February 14 which is valentines day. To cut the curse, the next Eun-Tak must find the next Shin before February 14. If she fails, the next Eun-Tak will die."

"I guess it is impossible for a new Eun-Tak to find the new Shin because there are so many named Shin, not just in korea but in the whole world." Seungyoun commented.

Mrs. Kang nodded and smiled. "On September 18, 1956, Maria Yrritia was born. He was the second reincarnated body of Eun-Tak and Helena. And again, Maria failed to find the new Shin. She was killed in a shipwreck of the African coast on the exact date of Eun-Tak and Helena's death which was on February 14, 1985."

"Shin and Eun-Tak's love story is so tragic. Time doesn't agree on their love story." One of my classmates said,

"I wonder what happened after Maria Yrritia died."

Mrs. Kang looked at my gaze.

"Hmmm... maybe one of you is a reincarnated body of Eun-Tak or... Shin." Mrs. Kang said and smiled.

It's our next period but I'm spacing out because of Mrs. Kang's story.

I don't know why but everytime Mrs. Kang mentions the name 'Eun-Tak' and my heart aches without a reason. I think I already heard that name before.

My eyes widened because of what i'm thinking.

N-No! I'm not the new Shin!

"Wooseok, are you okay?"

Maybe I'm just imagining things.

"You know what, we have a new classmate today. And guess what? She's so gorgeous!" Seungyoun giggled, as his eyebrows kept wiggling.

"Not interested." Seungwoo said as he kept staring at the window.

"Seungwoo hyung, are you okay?" Yohan asked Seungwoo. His eyes look so gloomy.

"Yes..."

"Weird hyung. He's always spacing out these past few days. By the way, stop it Seungyoun hyung. You already have a girlfriend." Hangyul stated.

"Flirty hyung. Tsk tsk! Poor Sunny noona. She didn't know that her boyfriend is daydreaming with a transferee." Yohan stated.

"Shut up, Yohan! I'm just kidding!"

I was about to ask about our new classmate when the door opened and a beautiful girl was walking behind our adviser.

She looks like a latina. And kinda look familiar. I wonder if I have already seen her.

I heard my boy classmates shout. My heart beats fast when our eyes meet.

"Hi. I am Lele Pons, 18 years old. I'm a latina... and already taken." She said,

I didn't mind if my heart was beating so wildly after the class ended.

I froze where I was standing and waiting for the van to hit me but I felt someone just pull me and we fell on the sidewalk.

She was laying on the street while me, i'm on top of her.

she's breathing heavily and u saw a few tears escaping her beautiful eyes.

I accidentally saw her birthmark on her neck. That makes me shooked.

"I don't want to lose you for the fourth time, S-Shin." She cried, which made me stop and just stare at her.

S-Shin?

We stood up and she quickly held my hand.

And the moment our hands intertwined, my memory came back, a hundred years ago.

I saw in my memory, Kim Shin and Ji Eun-Tak that they really love each other.

And my tears can't stop falling into my cheeks.

"Eun-Tak..."

We do the eye contact and i quickly pull her to hug her.

"Je t'aime mon amour. Personne ne nous arrêtera maintenant…" Lele stated.

"I lo-love y..you s-so much Eun-Tak..." I said and I kissed her lips.

"Glad you made it. Aunt Maria just told me their love story and now, I found you two. I finally found you two... Shin and Eun-Tak..." She smiled, tearing up because of happiness.

So Maria Yrritia was Mrs. Kang's aunt who reincarnated as Eun-Tak before.

Lele hugged me so tight and we couldn't help but cry hard.

Today's February 14, 2020 and nobody died.

After so many years, Eun-Tak found me. She finally found her Shin in my body.

At the fourth time, we continue loving each other without bothering us anymore.

Lele Ponsㅡ She's a Latina, whose living in korea, allegedly the reincarnated of Eun-Tak.

Kim Wooseokㅡ He's allegedly the reincarnated of Kim Shin.
