It was about nine thirty at night, me and Kamryn had gotten home from the game awhile ago. I had put Kamryn asleep and I was currently on the couch watching movies on Netflix.

The doorbell rang and I turned around to open it. "Hey Melody" I said with a smile as I opened the door.

"Hey Aaliyah." She slightly smiled and walked into the door.

"I'm sorry about earlier. I would've made sure someone was here if I knew you were coming back." I said as I closed the door behind me.

"It's fine" She said dryly. "Hope you found somewhere to go."

"Yea my friend let me stay with him."

"Him?" I questioned. "The same him that you were talking to at the party?" I rose a eyebrow.

She cleared her throat "Umm yup him." She stuttered.

"Do you like him?" I crossed my arms. She quickly looked at me "Umm no." I continued to look at her. "I don't. He's just a good friend."

"Alright." I said putting my hands up in defense. She chuckled "I'm going to bed. Night"

"Night" I waved as she walked up the stairs. I soon walked upstairs after her and fell asleep.

It was seven o'clock and I needed to get Kamryn up. "Come on stink." I said getting her out of the bed.

She whined and rubbed her eyes "I want daddy" she cried.

"Kamryn your dads not here. I need you to get up though. You gotta go to school and I gotta go to work."

She continued to whine "Here I'll facetime your dad when your done brushing your teeth and getting dressed alright?" I told her as I carried her on my hip to the bathroom.

She quickly nodded her head while laying her head on my chest. When we got to the bathroom I put her on the counter and washed her face.

I put toothpaste on her toothbrush "Here Kami brush your teeth." I handed her the toothbrush. She grabbed it and brushed her teeth. When she was done I got her dressed her took her downstairs for breakfast.

"Mommy you said you were going to call daddy" she said as she ate her cereal.

"I know baby hold on" I said as I took my phone out my pocket. I picked Darius contact and gave it to Kamryn as it rang.

"Daddy" Kamryn lit up as he answered the phone. "GoodMorning Mooch what are you doing?" I heard him say back.

"I'm eating breakfast before I go to school." She smiled. Melody came from downstairs behind the camera "Oh that's cool. GoodMorning Melody."

She waved at the camera "GoodMorning Darius" she smiled and got a bowl for breakfast.

"Kami say bye to your daddy. And go get your shoes." I told her.

"Alright. Bye daddy love you." She said. "Love you too princess. Give the phone to your momma aight."

"Alright" she walked the phone over to me. "Wassup beauty." He smiled.

"Wassup Handsome." I smiled back. "You seeing me tonight."

I laughed "I'm dropping Kamryn off tonight and I'll see you yes Darius."

"You'll still see me tonight. That's all that matters."

"Awee y'all cute." Melody said. "We're not together." I turned to her.

"Yes we are and thank you." Darius said. "Fine Okay we're together" I rolled my eyes.

"You better start claiming me before someone else does" Darius said.

"Shut up."

"Aaliyah I think I should get a key" Melody said slurping some milk.

I laughed "No that's not happening." Darius made a face "Liyah that's mean."

"Why not?" Melody questioned. "No offense but your an ex felon and you have a reputation of stealing. And I know you haven't done anything but I still want to make sure your trust worthy."

"Fine. I'm going out until you guys come back" Melody stomped off with an attitude.

"Damn Aaliyah" Darius laughed. "What?" I laughed.

"I gotta go I'll talk to you later." I told Darius before I was going to hang up. "Alright Love you."

"Love you too." I kissed the camera and hung up the phone.

"Let's go Kamryn." I yelled up the stairs. She cane down the stairs. "Ready" she grabbed my hand.

"Alright beautiful. Let's go" I grabbed her hand and we walked to the car.

"Where do you want me to take you." Ariana asked.

"To my friends house. I'm off work and you have college and Aaliyah doesn't want me at her house cause I'm an ex felon. So I'm going to my new friends house." I told Ariana as we sat in her car.

"Does this new friends name happen to start with a C?" Ariana asked as she started her car to drive me to my location.

"Maybe?" I stared at her and she smirked. "Don't start Ariana we're just friends" I rolled my eyes.

"Alright." She stayed silent until we got to Christians house. "Thanks Ari."

"Your welcome. Stay safe and protected." She laughed. "Shut up. Love you lots." I closed the door and walked to his door.

I knocked on the door and someone opened immediately. It was Nas "Wassup Mel money" he smiled.

"Hey Nas. Christian here." I asked. "Oh CJ yea that nigga here." He pointed for me to come in.

I smiled and walked into the house "Hey Melody." Prince winked. "Hi" I smiled awkwardly.

Wolf put his arm around me "Hey Melody. missed me already" he spoke in my ear.

I removed his arm "No. I'm actually here to see Christian."

He made a face of disgust "Fuck that lightskin nigga." He walked away. Making me, Nas and Prince laugh.

"We doing unexpected pop ups now?" Christian asked leaning on his wall while picking at his chin hairs.

"Shut up." I rolled my eyes playfully. "So wassup. Why you just pop up at a nigga door. I know you ain't miss me" he smirked.

I sat on the couch "All my other friends got shit to do. Soo." I dragged my last word.

"So I was your last choice. Damn" he faked sad. "Well if it makes you feel any better I only have one friend. Not including you."

He bite his lip "So now we friends?" He questioned leaning on his couch.

"Sure Christian. But I need you to take me to get a car."

"You asking or telling." Christian said. "Take it as you want." I laughed.

"You got the cheese." Wolf asked. "Nigga why would she ask if she ain't have the money to buy it. Smart one." Nas said in a duh tone.

"Nigga that's a neck" Prince said smacking the back of his neck. Wolf squared up "Nigga I'll whoop ya ass"

Prince pulled his pants up "Wassup lul nigga. Let's go." He squared up. They started wrestling around.

"Break them knuckle heads apart. Man" Christian told Nas. "Break it up." Nas splitted them apart.

Nas hit both of them in the head "Fucking dumb and dumber. Damn"

They both smacked they lips . Christian waved them off. "Back to you Melody. Yea I'll take you let's go."

"Really thank you." I smiled. "Can we go?" Wolf asked.

"Nigga no. Y'all can't act sane in the house why would I take y'all somewhere else in public hell nah." Christian said.

"What y'all can do is find an exit." Christian said. "Bye Melody." Wolf waved

"Bye Mel."

"Bye Mel Money."

"Bye guys" I laughed and waved to all of them. "Just me and you." Christian smiled.

I smushed his face "Let's go." I got up and walked to the door.

After looking at cars for hours I finally found one to my liking. "You guys a cute couple. We always have couples in here buying there first cars together." The car dealership lady said.

"Oh" I laughed. "Yea we're not-." Christian cut me off "Thank you." He said laughing.

"I'll be right back with the paper work. Then you guys can be on your way." She smiled and walked away.

I hit Christian arm "Why would you tell her that." He rubbed his arm "What?" He laughed.

"Think your Kevin fucking Hart huh" I rolled my eyes. "We would be a cute couple huh?" He asked.

"You'll never find out" I smirked and walked over to my soon to be car.

He smacked his teeth and followed me. Finally the lady came back with the paper work and I signed it.

"Thank You" I told Christian. He smiled "Your welcome. So what you doing next?" He asked.

I checked my phone "It's only three o'clock and the annoying person I live with ain't home yet so I'll just chill with you."

He laughed "Damn. Why she gotta be all that?"

I rolled my eyes "cause she won't let me have a key to the house. But I live there and I ain't tryna just be out all day everyday."

"Well why she say no." He asked. "Cause I have a history of stealing and other crimes."

He smirked "Well that explains it. You ant blame her for being a little skeptical. Just keep showing her you changed that way she won't have no other choice but to give you the key."

I groaned "Damn your actual kind of smart. I guess your right."

He brushed him self off "Okay I'll meet you at my house."

"Wait I'm hungry." He smiled "I'll cook for you. Just meet me at my house."

"Okay." I rolled my eyes and got in my new car. "Damn your fresh" I said to myself. I got a navy blue Dodge Charger. It was one of my dream cars.

"Come taste this." Christian said as I sat on the counter on my phone.

"Uhhh" I said hopin off the counter and locking my phone. "It's good" He asked looking at me.

"Yea Christian it's good." I smiled. "You sure?" He asked again.

"Why would I lie. It's good."

"Smile."

"Why?" I scuffed. "Cause it makes you ten times more beautiful when you smile."

I blushed a little "How would you even know. I don't even smile like that."

"I always catch a small smile out of you, even when you don't want too." He smiled still stirring his sauce for his Alfredo.

"Whatever." I smiled. He looked at me with a side eye "See look at chu with that cute ass smile of yours."

I shoved his shoulder "Leave me alone." He laughed "Why I always compliment you and you never compliment me. What you like about a nigga."

"Nothing." He paused from making plates "Damn really?"

I laughed "I'm joking. Well you know. Your not ugly or anything." I said.

"Well it wasn't really a compliment but I'll take it for now." He chuckled and handed me my bowl.

Aaliyah, Kamryn and I all sat around in the living room, with pajamas on. We were eating pizza and wings.

"Daddy can I have one." Kamryn asked pointing at the hot wings.

"It's hot baby. I don't think your going to like it." I said.

She whined "I want to try one please" I gave in "Fine. If it's hot I don't want hear no crying either."

She nodded her head "Okay?" She smiled and grabbed one. She bit into it and her face immediately changed.

"Nope. Better not hear one little peep from you since you wanna be all grown." I said firmly.

"Darius" Aaliyah said while looking at Kamryn holding on her tears.

I picked Kamryn up "Look at you I be trying to tell you. You wanna be grown." I shook my head at her.

"Awee Kami." Aaliyah laughed. "Damn. Little hard headed girl." I said in a laugh.

"That's your hard headed daughter."

I smacked my teeth "Here mooch. Drink this" I handed Kamryn a bottle of water.

"Aaliyah. Would you have my baby?" I asked.

She laughed and took a bite of her pizza "I already had our baby."

"Man. You know what I mean. Another one of my babies."

"Uhh maybe. I don't know. Why? Not like I'm having another anytime soon."

"I was just asking. I want five kids you know." I told her.

She laughed "Haha yea five kids not coming out of me."

"I'm joking. I want at least three."

"I'll settle on three." I smiled "Ooo we making progress." I pecked her lips.

"Gimme a kiss" I told Aaliyah. "You just kissed me." She laughed.

"Give me a real one." She rolled her eyes and gave me a intimate kiss.

"Well I gotta go. I have to work tomorrow. You guys have fun." Aaliyah said standing up.

"We will" I looked down at a sleeping Kamryn.

"I guess she cried herself to sleep." Aaliyah laughed. "Goodnight D"

"Night Liyah. Get home safely." I pecked her lips and she left.

"Come on mamas. Let's get you to bed" I picked Kamryn off the couch and carried her upstairs.

"Daddy." She said lowly.

"Shhh-shhh go back to sleep Mooch"

"Can I sleep with you tonight." I smiled "Of course mamas." I put her in my bed and kissed her cheek.

"Goodnight. Love you"
