"Y/n! Get up your going to be late! " Steve exclaims from downstairs. "GOD DAMMIT Steve I'm sleeping! " I yell back. "It's your first fucking day at your new job and your more worried about sleeping?! Get the fuck up or your walking if you even decided to show up! " he yells back and stomps away to get the freshly toasted toast. I look over at the clock and suddenly remember, today is my first day working at family video! Fuck! I have to be there at 8 and it's already 7:30! I shoot out of bed and rush to the bathroom.
Time skip
"Y/n come onnnnn! " Steve yells with a mouthful of toast."coming I scream back. I quickly unplug my curling iron and rush downstairs. "Nice now grab some toast and let's gooooo!" Steve says while signalling to the door.
In the car
"Hey Steve? " I say randomly "yeah y/n?" Steve response "do you feel like mom and dad are slowly leaving more and more?" "What do you mean? " Steve questions my question " I mean like do you ever feel like they are pushing away? " Steve sighs " well y/n I was going to wait until after your first day so I don't ruin your day but mom and dad left and they also left all their money" "what?! " I exclaim not knowing if I am happy or angry or even a little sad. "I'm sorry y/n, but they said they wanted to get away" he says grasping my hand tightly " i-i don't know how I feel but is it bad I'm kinda relieved? " I hoped Steve would understand " I definitely do, I mean ever since they told me I felt more free and happy, they left enough money to pay bills for years and plus the money we are both making we won't have to worry about anything for a long time" Steve says as we pull up to the store. "Good" I say relaxing a little.

I marked the story as having Gore, Sexual Content, and Traumatising content because it does contain a bit of all three, though not what I believe is a significant amount. Just wanted to be safe. It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.
