Jessica's POV ✨

I woke up to find myself in the common room. I opened my eyes slightly and noticed Fred was wrapped around me sleeping peacefully. "Freddie, Freddie, wake up." I whispered and attempted to get out of his grip, but was pulled back down by him, "I don't wanna." His raspy morning voice warmed me up every time causing me to slip back into his arms and snuggle for a bit longer.

"I love you." I whispered to him barely realising what came out of my mouth. He sat up slightly and stared at me. "You love... me?"

"Yes you dumbo! Do you love me back?" I sat up along with him and gave him a questionable look. "Yes, I love you too! I always have, you're my one and only." He snaked his hand behind my neck and slowly leaned in to a long passionate kiss. It felt exactly like our other kisses felt like, full of love, passion, fireworks and connection.

"Well we better go get ready for the day. I'll be down in about ten minutes." I stood up from the couch we had been sleeping on and gave him a kiss on the cheek before heading up to the girls dormitories.

I walked into my dorm and looked out my clothing for the day since it is Saturday we can do whatever we like and wear whatever we want.

I then brushed through my hair and headed back down to the common room and stopped when I heard someone mention my name in a conversation.

"Come on, a slut like Jess will definitely hook up with you." The voice was speaking in a low tone that I could just pick up what they were saying. "It's not like she gives a shit who she is dating."

That was it. I couldn't let the conversation continue any longer, I came out from the corner and stood full view next to the two boys who were talking about me.

"I would advise you shut your fat ass mouths before I hurt you." I sarcastically smiled at them and began walking towards Fred, "And no. I will most definitely not hook up with you because I am not a slut."

"Good morning to you to you too Miss Wood, Now, let's go get breakfast." Fred wrapped his arm over my shoulders and as we headed out the common room and to the great hall.

As we walked into the great hall I looked over and saw Cedric Diggory approaching. Fred gave me a quick kiss on the forehead and left me to talk to Cedric.

"Hey Jess. Just thought I would ask you how you were." He smiled warmly at me and I returned the gesture, "Oh I'm good now, it has been a tough few weeks that's for sure."

"Well if you ever need anything or any help, just give me a shout and I will be more than happy to do anything. Think of me as... a brother." He said. "Aww Cedric! That means so much! I will definitely keep that in mind." I pulled him into a hug before heading over to the Gryffindor table.

"What was that all about?" Fred asked as he spread jam onto his toast. "Oh nothing, just him telling me I can treat him like a brother and rely on him if anything goes wrong." I replied taking a piece of toast and eating it plain. He just nodded in response and ate his jam toast. I giggled when he accidentally dropped some jam onto his lap and had to clean himself up in frustration. It's hilarious seeing Fred get angry over spilling food on himself.

I spent most of the day with Fred, George and Lee pranking Filch which almost went terribly wrong and we almost got caught. We all headed back to the common room and sat down at our usual spot. We chatted for a while until Angelina turned up and sat on George's lap and began joining in our conversation.

"Oh so you actually let this train wreck help you with your pranks? Merlin! I'm surprised nothing wrong happened since all Jess seems to do is cause utter chaos!" Angelina smirked and looked my direction causing me to feel uncomfortable.

"Don't say that about Jess. She is not a train wreck. You're just tired Angie, why don't we go cuddle in your dorm." George spoke up causing Angelina's intimidating stare to stop and focus on George. They both got up and left to the girls dormitories, leaving me, Fred and Lee sitting in utter silence.

"You know what, I am suddenly feeling very single so I am going to go and cry into my pillow for six hours straight. See ya," Lee got up from the sofa and disappeared off out the common room. He literally spends most of his time in the room of requirement doing merlin knows what.

"Looks like it's just us. Let's go to my room I need to ask you something." Fred excitedly grabbed ahold of my hand and gently pulled me up to his dorm.

I sat with him on his bed and waited for him to ask his question.

"What is it Freddie?" I placed my hands on his and looked his perfect face. He looked up from our hands and looked me in the eyes.

"Jessica Wood, will you do me the honour of going to the Yule ball with me?"

"Yes Freddie! Of course I will!" I squealed and watched a cheesy smile grow on Fred's face before he brought both hands up to my cheeks and pulled me into a kiss.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and lightly pulled at his hair. I then straddled him causing us to fall onto the bed and deepen the kiss even more.

"I love you so much." He whispered into my ear as he began kissing my neck. I felt safe with Fred, I never remembered feeling this way when Patrick would kiss me like this. Probably because with Patrick I had no choice.

"I love you too." I whispered back as Fred removed my belt. This being the beginning of a very fun night.
