"Have you packed ALL of your essentials?"asked Mother and emphasizing on the 'all'.

I always seem to leave something behind and ended up pulling mum back to just take one single thing.

"Bag of ice,checked. Condiments,checked. Drinks,checked. Utensils,checked. Cups and plates ,checked. Tablecloth,checked. And last but not the least,sunscreen." i ticked of things of my checklist.

"All checked,Madam!" i replied.

And we flag a cab to Fernwood park.

The scenery there was perfect!

The cheeping sparrow were flying around forming small circles in the sky,and the lady-like tulips sprouted up ,adding a splash of colour to the plain boring grass.

I had a whale of a time!

Time flies when you're having fun.

And soon it was time to go home.

"Pack up Gloria! "We're going home now!We'll come here next time"exclaimed my Mum at the back of the car.

As I was walking back,i caught a glimpse of something shiny among the grass.

I bent down and picked it up.

It was crescent moon with a heart beside it.

It only took a moment for me to realized that it was mum's bracelet!

"Mum!I found your bracelet!" I shouted, walking towards our car.

"A bracelet?"she asked.

"Yes,"i handed it over.

"Thank goodness you've found it!"she was trying to fake a laughed.

"Now get up the car and get back home!"and she pulled me into the car.

I've always seen Mum wearing the bracelet but never told me where it came from and i was curious.

"Where did this bracelet come from?" i asked her.

The smile on her face quickly turned into a sad one.

"Well... if you don't want to say..."

"It was from your Dad before we divorce..." she interrupted me.

Mum had always blamed herself for forcing Dad to commit suicide.

"Before i married your father,he was the son of a rich company and was always a gentleman,"she began her story.

"After we graduated,he proposed to me and i agreed," i nodded my head and she continued.

"He started going out early and coming home late I thought he had another women outside..."

"GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE!YOU DON'T DESERVE TO BE GLORIA'S FATHER!" Hazel screamed while throwing random things out of the house.

"YOU'LL REGRET THIS!" taking his things,he stomped out of the house.

"i found out that his dad's company had bankrupted and he was juggling three jobs to keep up with the expenses. But when I found out the truth...it was already too late."

"The next day...he was on the news..." Mum started murmuring, with tears flowing down her red cheeks.

"This will be something that will keep you reminded of me" she handed me her bracelet.

"Mum..."

The tires screeched and everything went pitch black.
