《Child Of Infinity (Malereader X HunterHunter) [COMPLETED]》Chimera Ants
Advertisement
We currently see the Chimera Ant eating "human meatballs". With the King almost ready to hatch.
Ant Queen: "He moved!" The Ant Queen said in a happy tone while running her hand up and down the King's cacoon.
Meanwhile, Y/n is also moving inside his Cacoon. While Pitou was watching, mirroring the Ant Queen in a way.
Pitou: "You're gonna be a Great Guard for the King once your reborn, Y/n." Pitou said while smiling unnervingly.
Some say that Ignorance is bliss. And right now, Pitou was in Paradise. Ignorant to the unrivaled danger she is putting everyone in.
Meanwhile, Gon and Killua were training so they can defeat Knuckle and Shoot and take their tokens, and return to the NGL.
While they were training, Bisky was looking at a Men's magazine for purposes, no other reason.
Palm: 'Will this really be enough for them to execute the strategy to slaughter Morel's pupils?' Palm thought to herself while watching Gon and Killua.
Bisky: "Okay, All done!" Bisky announced.
Then, Gon and Killua deactivated their Nen and fell to the ground, exhausted.
Bisky: "You finally lasted for three hours." Bisky said.
Gon: "That was hard!" Gon said while breathing heavily.
Killua: "I can't move an inch..." Killua said.
Bisky: "What are you talking about? Get up. We're going right away." Bisky said.
Killua: "Where to?" Killua asked.
Bisky: "To see Knuckle, of course!" Bisky answered.
Killua: "Wh-Why?" Killua asked surprised, moving up.
Bisky: "See? You can move! Let's go!" Bisky said while walking away.
Killua: "Tell us why we're going to see Knuckle." Killua demanded.
Bisky: "Don't ask questions with obvious answers. To fight him!" Bisky answered.
Bisky: "Okay, let's go!" Bisky said again.
Killua: "What are you talking about? We still have time. What if we lose?" Killua asked.
Bisky: "You just try again. Whether you win or lose isn't important. All that matters is who ends up with the tiles, right?" Bisky asked.
Gon: "Yeah." Gon answered.
Bisky: "Which means you must take theirs. If it looks like you'll lose, run. Then try again the next day." Bisky said.
Bisky: "From here on, you'll practice Ren for three hours a day. After that, you'll challenge Knuckle. And continue until you win." Bisky said.
-Timeskip-
As Knuckle was playing with a dog, Gon and Killua show up. Immediately making Knuckle shoo the dog away.

Gon: "Is that Knuckle?" Gon asked.
Killua: "Yeah." Killua responded.
Knuckle: 'No way...' Knuckle thought, slightly surprised at seeing Gon and Killua.
Knuckle: "You're them?" Knuckle asked.
Knuckle: "Guess they must not respect me..." Knuckle said angrily as he walked toward Gon and Killua.
Knuckle: "If I'm being compared to a couple of kids, they must not think I'm very strong... Eh?!" Knuckle said angrily.
Killua: 'Such an intimidating presence... We should act first, but we can't move!' Killua thought.
Knuckle: "A duel is a battle to the death. It's serious business! It's best to fight five hours after a good night's sleep. So what's with you kids? You're completely worn out!" Knuckle shouted.
Knuckle: "Did you just get back from swimming lessons or something? Are you even taking this seriously?" Knuckle shouted, making Gon and Killua back away slightly.
Knuckle: "You punks can't defeat me." Knuckle said.
-Mega Timeskip-
After defeating Knuckle, Gon decided to not take his tile, not wanting to ditch Knuckle.
And now, we currently see Morel and the rest of the Extermination team in the NGL.
Ant: "What is this smoke?" An ant asked.
Then, the ant suddenly was dragged into a pocket dimension created by Knov.
Ant: "Where am I?" The ant asked while looking around.
Netero: "All right..." Netero said while getting up.
Netero: "Let's begin, shall we?" Netero asked.
Sakura: "Im taking the next one!" Sakura shouted.
Netero: "All right, All right." Netero responded.
-Cut to Chimera Ant nest-
Colt: "What? Chiona's squadron is missing?" Colt asked.
Peggy: "Yes..." Peggy answered.
Colt: "The same way as Reikei's?" Colt asked.
Peggy: "It appears so. The leader disappeared first, and then the rest vanished, one by one. Are the humans fighting back?" Peggy asked.
Colt: "Well, that is the logical conclusion. By this filtering, there are less of us. And the food is scattering farther away. If humans target us during an extended hunt, it could be trouble." Colt said.
Peggy: "Should we ask the Queen to move the castle?" Peggy asked.
Colt: "No, we can't trouble the Queen right now." Colt said.
Peggy: "Then should we consult with Lord Neferpitou? That idea doesn't thrill me..." Peggy said.
Then, they go and try to talk with Pitou. Only to see her staring at your Cacoon intently, awaiting your hatching.

Pitou: "I leave the outside dealings to you. We'll defend the castle." Pitou said.
Then, you moved slightly.
Pitou: "He's gonna hatch soon. I just know it." Pitou said to herself, even slightly giggling.
Then, Colt and Peggy left.
Peggy: "Just as expected..." Peggy said, slightly disappointed.
Colt: "Well, this is better than getting erratic orders." Colt said.
Colt: "We should start by determining our current troop strength. How many Squadron Leaders remain?" Colt asked.
Peggy: "Assuming Chiona was taken out, twenty-eight." Peggy answered.
Peggy: "Each Squadron Leader has four to five officers... And each officer commands ten to fifteen grunts... Some squadrons are under tight control, but many do as they please." Peggy said.
Colt: "The missing four squadrons fall under the latter category... Of the remaining squadrons, over half lack discipline. I doubt they'd listen to advice." Colt said.
Peggy: "They've become arrogant since learning Nen." Peggy added.
Colt: "Then let them be bait, and we will set the traps." Colt said.
-Timeskip-
Netero: "...I'd say that's the strategy they'd come up with by now." Netero said.
Morel: "Well, we should be able to continue with the current plan." Morel said.
Knov: "Yes." Knov said in agreeance.
Morel: "Knov and I can easily separate the bait from the traps." Morel said with confidence.
Knov: "Actually, I think it might be good to tangle with a trap once in a while." Knov started.
Knov: "If we leave the organized troops for later, they might band together, and cause trouble for us. The organized and lax troops will probably pair into teams from now on." Knov said.
Knov: "If we launch an indiscriminate attack, it will result in chaos. If all goes well, we should be able to eliminate another three or four squads before the enemy comes up with their next plan..." Knov said.
Knov: "We can already anticipate their next move... If all goes well, we'll finish before reinforcements arrive." Knov said.
Netero: "I hope... things go that way." Netero said.
-Cut to Gon and Killua-
Bisky: "Okay, three hours! All done!" Bisky said as Gon and Killua dropped to the ground.
Bisky: "Well, then... Go get him!" Bisky said as Gon and Killua got up and walked away tiredly.
Then, Gon and Killua arrived at Knuckles location.
Knuckle: "They're here." Knuckle said, turning his attention toward them.
Gon: "It's on, Knuckle!" Gon shouted.
Knuckle: "Yeah, let's go! I'll take you both on at once!" Knuckle said.
Killua: "I won't say a word about how you look down on us... We're more than happy to accept!" Killua said.
Gon: "Let's go, Killua!" Gon said.
Killua: "Yeah!" Killua responded.
Then, Gon and Killua ran at Knuckle, but Knuckle just stood there, unphased.
Gon then jumped in the air, intending to land a kick on Knuckle. While Killua slid below.
However, Knuckle just blocked Gon and jumped in the air to dodged Killua.
Knuckle then knocked Gon and Killua away. Then, Killua tried to kick him, but Knuckle just blocked with his own kick.
Gon then flew at him with a punch, but Knuckle just blocked him. Knuckle then threw him at Killua, but Killua managed to catch him.
Knuckle: "Hey, come on... I have no time to waste playing around with you kids." Knuckle said.
Killua: "But you have nothing but time." Killua retorted.
Knuckle: "Get serious!" Knuckle shouted.
Then, Gon and Killua charged at him once more.
Knuckle: "That's more like it!" Knuckle said.
Knuckle: 'Their bodies are completely fatigued. All that's moving them is sheer willpower. Once they've accomplished the tough task before them, they'll gain a confidence boost that will spur their growth.' Knuckle thought to himself while fighting Gon and Killua.
Knuckle: 'However, to complete that task, they must defeat me!' Knuckle thought.
Then, he punched Gon square in the jaw.
Knuckle: 'And that ain't gonna happen on my watch!' Knuckle thought.
Then, he punched Killua square in the face.
Knuckle: "Come one! That all you've got?" Knuckle asked.
Shoot: 'Given his personality, I'd say he's already been won over. I doubt he'd sell me out, but his tongue may slip.' Shoot thought to himself, watching from the Shadows.
Shoot: 'My chance will come after they leave.' Shoor thought to himself while looking at Gon and Killua.
Shoot: 'I will defeat them...' Shoot thought to himself.
The Ant King and Y/n are getting closer and closer to hatching. The world... Will shake in terror...

Individuals were chosen and gifted with the ability to use magic and advanced technologies to combat the existential threat. Over twenty-one years later, the so-called “Magical Guardians” are still hard at work keeping the peace. But none of that really matters to Mai, whose biggest problems are dealing with her family, classmates, and the ever growing dread of her imminent future. As far as Mai is concerned, mundane problems are more than enough to worry about, and the idea of magic and monsters might as well be nothing more than daydreams. At least, they were until she finds herself in the middle of an Anathema invasion… A Dark Magical Girl LitRPG with sci-fi elements. Note: Slow burn and gradual introduction of LitRPG mechanics that become a focal point once introduced. Please be aware this story contains intense violence, gore, traumatic situations, and other potentially unsettling content. Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
