We currently see Gon and Killua, walking down the street in a town. See, They have to one condition set by Netero. And Kite, Already being a Pro and proving his skills, was already allowed to go back to the NGL.

Gon: "What are those?" Gon asked, referring to the tiles in Killua's hand.

Killua: "Tiles. You take a piece of marked wood and split it, giving each half to a different person. They work as proof of identity or authenticate a document." Killua explained.

-Flashback-

Netero: "We sent two assassins to the nearest village." Netero said.

-Flashback over-

Killua: "In this case, each of two the assassins have the other halves." Killua said, tossing the tiles into the air.

Killua: "We have to defeat them and take their places." Killua said, now walking away.

Then, they arrive at the town center and check a large board.

Killua: "It's been erased. That means someone checked the board." Killua said.

Gon: "Yeah." Gon said in agreeance.

Little did Gon snd Killua know, they were being watched.

???: "You must be Killua and Gon." The woman said, making them turn around.

Palm: "Nice to meet you. My name is Palm. It's a pleasure." Palm said, unnerving Gon and Killua.

Palm: "Oh, dear... Please don't be so nervous! I imagine the Chairman didn't tell you much. Allow me to explain. Let's sit down for some tea so I can explain things." Palm said.

Then, they go to a Café for tea.

Palm: "I'm Knov's pupil. He said I would only get in his way... But I insisted on accompanying him." Palm said while pouring sugar into her drink.

Gon: "Who's that?" Gon asked.

Killua: "She probably means one of the guys with Chairman Netero." Killua said.

Palm: "Yes, the one wearing a black suit... My teacher is a wonderful man. Cool, Intelligent, composed... Ah, composed and cool mean the same thing! Oh, dear... Oh, but I only admire him. That's all. There's nothing romantic about my feelings... or anything, but Im not certain of that either... After all, when it comes to falling in love, respect is a major factor." Palm said while putting way too much sugar in her drink, making Gon and Killua slightly disgusted.

Palm: "Ah, my teacher, knows nothing about this, of course. I haven't said a word to him, and I don't intend to." Palm said.

Then, she proceeded to drink her diabetic tea. Making Gon and Killua even more disgusted.

Palm: "Though... you never know, right? After all, love is a spontaneous thing, don't you agree?" Palm asked.

Killua: "Uh, can I interrupt you? Aren't we supposed to fight you?" Killua asked.

Palm: "Huh? Oh, dear... Yes, I apologize. The Chairman and my teacher said I couldn't accompany them. But I insisted on going with them. It feels like I spent a lifetime just trying to convince them of my determination. And finally, they relented, under one condition." Palm said.

Killua: "Uh, I'm asking about..." But ad he was speaking, he was cut off.

Palm: "My teacher may appear a cold person, but he's actually quite kind. But you have to spend a lot of time with him to realize that. Ah, by "spending time with him," I don't mean-." But as she was speaking, she was cut off.

Killua: "Okay! What's the condition?!" Killua shouted.

Palm: "Take down Knuckle and Shoot." Palm answered.

Palm: "How dare those vulgar, rude, barbaric brats Get to go to the NGL before me... I cannot allow that." Palm said, making her coffee overflow with her Nen.

Gon: "Miss Palm, stop your Hatsu!" Gon said.

Gon: "She's an Enhancer like me. I don't like where this is going." Gon said worriedly while cleaning up the table.

Killua: "Knuckle and Shoot? Not us?" Killua asked.

Palm: "That's right. After all, I'm not the one who's supposed to defeat Knuckle and Shoot. You two are." Palm said.

Palm: "Knuckle and Shoot are Mr. Morel's students. They, too, received a condition. I don't know what that condition was... But whether it's us or them, only one group will be allowed into the NGL." Palm said.

Palm: "We have one month." Palm said.

-Cut to Unknown Location-

Shoot: "Since we were told to keep these tiles for a month, that means someone will come for them." Shoot. said.

Shoot: "What do we do, Knuckle?" Shoot asked.

Knuckle: "What else? He who strikes first wins! Find 'em... And kill 'em!" Knuckle shouted.

-Timeskip-

Knuckle: "My name is Knuckle Bine! I'm a Beast Hunter! I challenge the two extermination team candidates to a duel! Midnight tonight, sharp! Fight me fair and square!" Knuckle shouted through a megaphone while walking down the street.

Knuckle: "I won't try to run or hide. I won't bring any weapons or allies. It'll be me and me alone. So come and fight me!" Knuckle shouted.

Knuckle: "A man never turns his back on an enemy. I'll follow you to the ends of the Earth... You won't get away!" Knuckle shouted, unknowingly walking by his opponent.

Killua: 'Even if he said where I wouldn't go.' Killua thought to himself.

-Mini Timeskip-

We currently see Gon and Killua eating at a restaurant.

Killua: "He's just a decoy. His partner's probably hiding somewhere, watching. They're watching to see if anyone reacts suspiciously. According to Palm, they don't even know our names." Killua said.

Gon: "Yeah." Gon said in agreeance.

Killua: "They wanted to lure us out somehow. Only an idiot would pull a stunt like that for real..." Killua said.

Gon: "Did he look strong?" Gon asked.

Killua: "He's pretty strong." Killua answered.

Gon: "What will it take to defeat him?" Gon asked.

Killua: "I have no idea! One of the Hunters with the Chairman said that in a Nen battle, nothing is certain. So, according to him, it's wrong for me to judge if a fight can be won. But I disagree. If you want to survive, you must increase your odds of victory. Gauging the strength differential between you and an opponent is crucial." Killua said while eating his spaghetti.

After talking for a while about fighting, Gon and Killua walking through a building.

After a while of walking, they enter a toom.

Gon: "That's too long. One week. In one week, get stronger, and head back to the NGL!" Gon said with resolve.

Killua: "Go-!" But as he eas speaking, he was cut off by someone punching Gon, sending him flying.

Bisky: "Are you an idiot?!" Bisky shouted angrily.

G/K: "Biscuit! Why are you here?!" Gon and Killua asked at the same time.

Palm: "I asked her to come." Palm answered.

G/K: "Huh? You know each other?" Gon and Killua asked at the same time.

Palm: "No, I did some research on you guys." Palm said.

Gon: "How? We only know Bisky because..." Gon tried to say but was cut off.

Palm: "Once I used my ability, it was quite simple. Now, there's no time to spare. Let's begin... Palm said.

G/K: "No thanks..." Gon and Killua said at the same time.

Then, Bisky noticed that You aren't there. And is greatly confused by this, so, she decides to ask about it.

Bisky: "Hey... Where is Y/n? Shouldn't he be with you guys?" Bisky asked confused.

Then, Gon and Killua looked down solemnly before answering.

Gon: "We had to leave him behind when an ant that could use nen." Gon said.

Killua: "And their aura was terrifying. The only person who wasn't phased by it, or could stand a chance against the ant, was Y/n. And if we would've stayed, we would only be holding him back. We didn't have a choice." Killua said.

Bisky: "I see..." Bisky started.

Bisky: "That was a wise choice. Despite how selfish it may sound, leaving him to fight alone was the best choice." Bisky said.

Bisky: "Anyway, Let's get started." Bisky said.

G/K: "Osu!" Gon and Killua said at the same time.

-Cut to Chimera Ant nest-

Pitou managed to barely win. But it sure as hell wasn't easy. As she was currently dragging her extremely injured body through the Ant nest.

After a while of walking, she lays your body on a rock and lays down beside you, wanting to recover.

Then, Peggy, Colt, and Rammot just happened to be walking by. And seeing their commander injured, made them shocked and extremely worried. So naturally, they dash over to her.

Rammot: "S-Sir..! Are you okay?!" Rammot asked, concerned.

Colt: "What happened? Who did this to you?" Colt asked, kneeling down to Pitou's level.

Pitou: "This human... Was extremely tough..." Pitou struggled to say.

Peggy: "I'll go get a healer!" Peggy said, running off.

After a few minutes, Peggy comes back with an ant that was a doctor as a human. Seeing the beaten and bloody Pitou, he immediately begins healing her.

Colt: "Was it this human who did this to you?" Colt asked while pointing at your unconscious body.

Pitou: "Yes." Pitou answered.

Rammot: "THIS PIECE OF TRASH! I'LL-!" But as he was about to finish you off, he was stopped by Pitou.

Pitou: "" Pitou said ominously, instantly making Rammot back down.

Rammot: "Sorry Sir! It won't happen again!" Rammot said.

Pitou: "It's fine. Now, just let me explain." Pitou started.

Pitou: "See, I first left the Nest because I sensed humans coming by. So, I, of course, went to attack them... But, something strange happened." Pitou started.

Peggy: "Strange?" Peggy asked.

Pitou: "As I was about to hit him, I stopped." Pitou said, confusing them.

Colt: "Stopped? Why would you stop?" Colt asked.

Pitou: "I didn't stop. HE stopped ME. What's even weirder is that he didn't even make an effort to block me. He just stood there. And as I said before, I just stopped mid-air." Pitou tried to explain.

Peggy: "Stopped without blocking? Do you think it was his Nen ability?" Peggy asked.

Pitou; "What's even weirder is that he wasn't using Nen either. I didn't even feel any coming off of him. And he wasn't even using any either." Pitou explained.

This confused them even more. First, You somehow blocked Pitou without moving, and you didn't even do it using Nen.

Rammot: "Huh? Wasn't using Nen?" Rammot asked confused.

Pitou: "It may sound bizarre, but it's true. None of his abilities used Nen. Which is why I brought him back here alive so that when he wakes up, we'll be able to ask him." Pitou said.

Peggy: "But he was able to fight and severally injury you, So won't he just run once he wakes up?" Peggy asked.

Pitou: "Now that you say that... You're right." Pitou said.

Then, Pitou began to think. She couldn't just wait for you to wake up and inevitably escape, but she couldn't just kill you either, as she was way too curious about your abilities.

Then, as she was thinking, she also realized how big of an asset you were to the humans. After all, you were able to nearly Kill Pitou, the current strongest Ant! So, an idea came to her mind.

Pitou: "Hey... How about we make him one of us?" Pitou asked, catching them off guard.

Peggy: "No offense, but there's no way he'll join us willingly. You did knock him out and kidnap him." Peggy said.

Pitou: "And that's the thing, it be willingly." Pitou said.

Colt: "Then... What are you suggesting?" Colt asked.

Pitou: "What Im suggesting is that we turn him... " Pitou said while smiling widely.
