Gon: "Hey, what kind of work do you do, Kite?" Gon asked.

Kite: "Biological Surveying. I focus on discovering and researching new species. Oh, have you heard of the Camp Tiger?" Kite asked.

Kite: "They can use fire. They use branches that have been ignited by lightning as kindling." Kite said as he handed you a Laptop.

Kite: "Other than certain Magical Beasts, they're the first of their kind: a beast that prefers cooked meat to raw!" Kite said.

Killua: "Wow, they're really cooking it." Killua said surprised.

Y/n: "Cool!" You said.

Gon: "They really are using fire! Hey, what else is there?" Gon asked.

Killua: "Oh, yeah... You said the thing that attacked me was a Chimera Ant?" Killua asked.

Y/n: "Yeah! Would you mind explaining the whole chimera ant thing?" You asked.

Kite: "Yes, a Chimera Ant. It's under a Designated Quarantine: Level One. Normally, no one would be allowed near such a dangerous insect." Kite said.

Gon: "Did you discover them?" Gon asked.

Kite: "No, I specialize in larger creatures. But currently, I'm investigating these insects." Kite said.

Kite: "Something has been bothering me..." Kite started.

Kite: "But it appears that now I'll have to move to a different location. I must make a call, but I'm not getting any reception here." Kite said, turning on his phone.

Gon: "A call?" Gon asked.

Kite: "I'm working with others. Seven of us are working as a team. I guess I must wait for their arrival. Once they're here, I'll introduce you. They're amateurs, but they're skilled Hunters." Kite explained.

Then, in the distance, 4 people were walking toward them.

Kite: "Ah, speak of the devil." Kite said.

Then, Kite got up, making the three of you do the same.

Spin: "Oh, it's a pleasure to meet you all the way put here. Im Spinner Clow. Call me Spin! Nice to meet you." Spin said, holding out her hand.

Gon: "I'm Gon Freecss. Nice to meet you, Spin." Gon said, shaking her hand.

Spin: "Freecss... Wait, could you be?" Spin started.

Kite: "Yes, he's Mr. Ging's son." Kite said.

?/?: "Really?!"

???: "And you? Not you, too?" He asked while pointing at Killua.

Killua: "No, not me. My name is Killua Zoldyck." Killua said.

???: "Zoldyck..." He started.

???: "Um, don't take this the wrong way, but are you part of the famous family of assassins?" A girl with pink hair asked.

Killua: "Yeah, but I quit the business." Killua said.

???: "And what about you?" He asked while pointing at you.

Y/n: "Hm? Oh, my name's Y/n Gojo." You said, introducing yourself.

All: "GOJO?!?!" They all shouted very loudly, very surprised to hear that name.

Spin: "You mean to tell me that YOU are one of Satoru's relatives?" Spin asked.

Y/n: "Yes. Im his son actually." You answered, surprising them even more.

???: "Geez... This has been one hell of a day... Zoldyck, Freecss, and a GOJO." The man with the afro said tiredly.

Kite: "Oh, you're his son right?" Kite started.

Y/n: "Yes, that's what I just said." You answered.

Kite: "Show me your eyes then." Kite said, wanting proof.

Then, you take off your blindfold, revealing the Six eyes.

Kite: "You really are his son!" Kite said excitedly.

Kite: "I've been wanting to meet Satoru for a long time now! So, how's he doing?" Kite asked.

Then, you looked down, visibly sad. Which caught Kite off guard.

Kite: "Uh, Im sorry if I-" Kite started, but you cut him off.

Y/n: "No, No, it's fine. Let me explain." You started.

Y/n: "See... During Greed Island... Me, My dad, and his 3 students all teamed up to fight someone. During that fight, He, along with my younger brother died." You explained.

Kite: "Oh, that's unfortunate. Im sorry for bringing it up." Kite said.

Y/n: "No, it's fine. You didn't know." You said reassuringly.

Kite: 'Satoru had to team up with 4 people to fight someone? Who was the opponent? Because from what I heard from Ging, Satoru is on par with chairman Netero...' Kite thought to himself.

Kite: 'It doesn't matter, whoever their opponent was, they're gone now. And I don't wanna pry anymore.' Kite thought to himself.

Kite: "By the way, did I mention that the three of them are pro Hunters? They're your Seniors!" Kite said, wanting to move on from that sad topic.

All: "Wow!" They said surprised.

Then, they all sit down.

Spin: "We've been conducting biological surveys with Kite for three years, but this is the most incredible organism we've ever seen!" Spin said.

???: "Yeah, no kidding..." The large man said.

Monta: "I don't think we finished our introductions. Im Monta Yuras. But call me Mon." Monta said.

Gin: "Nice to meet you, Mon." Gon said.

Stick: "I'm Stick Dinner. I handle the cooking. Know why? Because my name is Dinner." Stick said while laughing.

Gon: "Nice to meet you." Gon said while laughing.

Banana: "My name is Banana Kavaro. Good to meet you." Banana said.

Then, a dog came out of her backpack, once it did, it ran toward Gon, jumping in his arms.

Kite: "We have two others on our team." Kite said.

Kite: "Where are Podungo and Lin?" Kite asked.

Manta: "They're both headed toward the area of the sighting." Manta answered.

Kite: "They always move so fast." Kite said.

Manta: "Oh, and you were right, Kite..." Manta said as he went through a large bag, pulling out an ant claw.

Manta: "This looks just like the claw of a Chimera Ant queen. We ran some computer analyses, and the result was a 99% match." Manta explained.

Killua: "Can I see it?" Killua asked.

Manta: "Sure." Manta said, handing Killua the claw.

Killua: "This is a Chimera Ant claw? It's as big as a human finger." Killua said.

Gon: "Does that mean there are huge ants?" Gon asked.

Kite: "We don't know." Kite answered.

Killua: "Could one of them possibly mutated and grew really big?" Killua asked.

Kite: "That's possible, though it may also belong to a completely different species. Regardless, we just don't know right now. That's why we're investigating." Kite explained.

Y/n: 'Whatever these ants are, they are gonna become a huge problem in the future.' You thought to yourself worriedly.

Spin: "It all started with the wonkiest little assignment..." Spin said.

Stick: "His name is Wong! He was a Kakin official." Stick said while laughing.

Gon: "What's Kakin?" Gon asked.

Manta: "Here. It's this wild land, in the middle of the Azian Continent." Manta said.

Banana: "We had just completed a biological survey that they had requested when..." Banana started

Then, she went on to explained how and where they found the claws from.

Killua: "Chimera Ant..." Killua said under his breath.

Kite: "Where did Lin and Podungo go?" Kite asked.

Spin: "Somewhere south of Yorknew City." Spin answered.

Banana: "The person who found the insect leg apparently lives in a city by the ocean." Banana explained.

Kite: "Sorry you won't be able to catch your breath, but we should hurry after them." Kite said.

Gon: "Hey, can we come with you?" Gon asked.

Kite: "Hmm? Sure." Kite answered.

Gon: "Yes!" Gon said happily.

Manta: "Glad to have you." Manta said.

Spin: "Having three Pro Hunters with us is reassuring." Spin said.

Banana: "And they're Mr. Ging's son, Satoru's son, and someone from the Zoldyck family! Oh, sorry..." Banana said.

Killua: "It's no big deal." Killua said as he handed the claw back to Manta.

Then, they started walking.

Manta: "Anyways, you kids are already pros at your age?" Manta asked.

Stick: "We weren't born with the talent... Talent, talent... Guess I have a talent for saying "talent," huh?" Stick asked while laughing.

Kite: 'In this brief period, they've become friends. Good Hunters are well-liked by animals. And also blessed with good friends. Gon's the real deal... He'll find you soon, Mr. Ging.' Kite thought to himself.

Kite: "It's been days... No, it's been months since it last rained here. The weather's been unstable this year. This may be affecting the wildlife in some way." Kite said.

Spin: "So the insect with the large leg could have been a mutation influenced by those conditions." Spin said.

Banana: "But why would it have grown larger?" Banana asked.

Manta: "To survive, right? If it's bigger, it'd have a better chance of securing food." Manta said.

Banana: "But that would mean it'd need more, as well. Being larger doesn't always aid survival. I believe that this is related to the Chimera Ant's unique nature, not to the environment." Banana said.

Spin: "I agree. Because they reproduce in a way not found in any other organism." Spin said.

Gon: "What do you mean?" Gon asked.

Kite: "They reproduce through a special process known as phagogenesis." Kite said.

Kite: "When a Chimera Ant queen eats other creatures, she can impart characteristics of those creatures onto the subsequent generation. And she can also eat multiple species to pass on a mix of genes to her offspring. With each feeding, she lays one to five eggs." Kite explained.

Kite: "The first generation of births has no reproductive capability, so they become worker or soldier ants. They work in service to the queen and her eventual successors. Those successors are the king and queen of the next generation. The queen is always looking to consume the genes of strong organisms, so she can pass them to her offspring. And she may even devour its preferred fodder species to extinction." Kite said, shocking Gon.

Gon: "To extinction?!"

Spin: "Yes, her voracious appetite can drive her to consume her own weight many times over, in a single day. That's why Chimera Ants are under a Designated Quarantine: Level One." Spin explained.

Killua: "So if she sets her eyes on you, you're finished? Judging from the size of that claw, her length is at least two meters. That thing could eat a human in no time." Killua said.

Kite: "Yes, you are correct." Kite responded.

Kite: "They're the ones I mentioned on the phone, Gon, Killua, and Y/n." Kite said.

Lin: "Oh, I'm Lin Koshi. N-Nice to meet you." Lin said.

Podungo: "My name's Podungo Lapoy. Glad to have you onboard." Podungo said.

Gon: "Glad to be here, Mr. Lin, Ms. Podungo." Gon said.

Killua: "Hey." Killua said.

Y/n: "Sup." You said.

Kite: "Let's get down to business. Where was the leg discovered?" Kite asked.

Podungo: "On the beach over there." Podungo said, pointing toward the beach.

Lin: "A-According to the locals, it washed up on sh-shore." Lin explained.

Then, they go over to the beach.

Killua: "There's a forest right behind us..." Killua said.

Banana: "It'll be difficult to find the Chimera Ant if it ran in there." Banana said.

Spin: "We can't be certain that it's alive." Spin said.

Stick: "We dont even know if it ended up on the same island its leg drifted to." Stick said.

Banana: "Let's find out, then." Bana said, her dog coming out of her bag.

Banana: "Here, remember this scent." Banana said as the dog sniffed the ant claw.

Gon: "I'll help, too!" Gon said.

Then, he ran over and sniffed the claw as well.

Killua: "His nose is as sharp as a dog's." Killua said.

Y/n: "Really? I didn't know that." You said surprised.

Then, the dog started sniffing for ant queen's location, Gon doing the same.

After a while, the dog comes back.

Spin: "He can't find anything... The scent may have disappeared. It probably rained." Spin said.

Gon: "I couldn't find anything, either." Gon said.

Manta: "That means the Chimera Ant isn't here." Manta said.

Kite: "It may have washed ashore elsewhere." Kite said.

Kite: "In which direction do the currents flow here?" Kite asked.

Lin: "It's complicated... The direction is reversed between day and night." Lin answered.

Podungo: "And it also changes with the seasons. I've even heard it's different on certain days." Podungo said.

Spin: "So it'll be tough to pinpoint a location..." Spin said.

Gon: "It's too early to give up. Let's split up and search." Gon said.

Spin: "You're right." Spin said.

Then, they split up. You, Gon, and Killua of course being together.

After searching for a while, they found nothing.

Gon: "No luck..." Gon said sadly.

Manta: "Continuing to search blindly is pointless. Let's return to Yorknew City. We may be able to find a new lead." Manta said.

We currently see everyone in a truck, fast asleep. All Except for Kite.

Kite: 'A voracious appetite... Phagogeneis.' Kite thought to himself, thinking of a Chimera Ant with human genes.

Little did Kite know, just as he was thinking this, a Chimera Ant exactly like this was born. Being assigned Squadron Leader by the Chimera Ant Queen.

But the ants had no idea... Absolutely NO idea the sheer danger that was coming to them.
