Gon: "Wow, look at all the people!" Gon said while walking through the Yorknew Marketplace.

Killua: "The whole purpose of this market is to swindle the visitors who've come for the auction." Killua explained.

Y/n: "Geez. Nowhere is safe huh?" You said while sighing in annoyance.

Gon: "Wait. So, this isn't the auction venue?" Gon asked.

Killua: "No, of course it isn't. Yorknew's "dream auction" is held once a year in the world's largest auction house." Killua responded.

Killua: "They say that tens of trillions of Jenny exchange hands during only ten days of official bidding." Killua said.

Gon: "Tens of trillions? Really?" Gon asked.

Y/n: "Damn. Thats a lot of money." You said.

Killua: "Yeah. Something that sells for 10 thousand today, could go for a hundred million tomorrow. Bam, instant fortune. It's where dreams come true." Killua explained.

Y/G: "Wow..." You and Gon said at the same time.

Killua: "Well, anyway, that's a big part of the reason why so much of the underworld auctioning happens at the same time." Killua said.

Y/n: "That's pretty cool." You responded.

Killua: "So hey, you think Kurapika and Leorio are gonna show?" Killua asked.

Gon: "They promised they'd meet us here today, so I'm sure they will." Gon responded.

Killua: "Right. They might contact us, so..." Killua says as he takes out their phones.

Killua: "Man. We really need better phones. This one is kinda garbage." Killua said.

Y/n: "Agreed. I mean, shit. These look horrible." You said while looking at their phones.

The screen was really dark, almost to the point where you can't even see it. The keys on it were also really small, not only that, but it was really easy to erase the numbers on the phones. One swipe, and bam. Gone.

Shop owner: "Hey! Welcome! This one's the hottest new model." The shop owner said as the three of you stood in front of his shop.

Shop owner: "It's ultra-thin and no bigger than a credit card! Plus, it had GPS, which is great for finding people." The shop owner said.

Then, you feel Leorio coming from a short distance away, wanting to surprise him, you vanished.

Leorio: 'Did I just? No, I must be hallucinating.' Leorio thinks to himself, thinking that he saw you.

Leorio: "Don't bother." Leorio said, making Gon and Killua turn toward him.

Leorio: "The range is terrible and it's not even waterproof. The only thing it's good for is making phone calls." Leorio said.

Gon: "Leorio!" Gon said, happy to see Leorio again.

Leorio: "Instead, I would recommend..." Leorio said, looking around in the selection of phones.

Leorio: "this Beetle 07." Leorio said, picking up a large phone.

Leorio: "It's pretty heavy and expensive but it can translate over 200 languages from places all around the globe." Leorio explained.

Killua: "Wait, Really? Hey, get this on snd I'll get one, too!" Killua said.

Leorio: "Two of these beauties, please!" Leorio said.

Shop Owner: "Yes sir, that'll be 400 thousand." The shop owner said, shocking Leorio.

Gon: 'Wait, where's Y/n?' Gon thought to himself, before remembering what you said back at whale island.

Gon: 'Oh yeah! He wanted to surprise Leorio and kurapika!' Gon said, before acting normal.

Leorio: "Four hundred?! That's highway robbery!" Leorio said, shocking at the "expensive" price.

Gon: "Thanks, Leorio!" Gon said while walking, carrying a bag with their new phones.

Leorio: "Sure, but a 110,580 Jenny apiece? And that's a fair price for a new model in this market!" Leorio responded.

Leorio: "Oh yeah! By the way, you two have any luck in freeing Y/n?" Leorio asked.

Gon: "No. We haven't found a single way to free Y/n yet. Even after searching for several months." Gon said as you slowly crept up behind Leorio.

Killua: "Yeah. This stupid thing has been holding Y/n for so long. Im starting to think that there's no way to help him." Killua said as you get even closer.

Leorio: "Really? Dammit. Those stupid assassins and their stupid-" He then gets cut off by someone tapping his shoulder.

Leorio then angrily turns around, but as he was about to go off on the person who tapped his shoulder, he immediately gets frozen in shock.

Y/n: "Yo." You said bluntly, trying your hardest to hold back a smile.

Leorio: "Y/n..." Leorio said, processing what he's seeing.

Killua: "Forgot to mention, he's been free for a while now. Kinda just slipped my mind Y'know." Killua said while snickering, pissing off Leorio.

Gon: "Yeah, Im just so forgetful. Sorry, Leorio." Gon said while also snickering.

Leorio: "YOU LITTLE TWERPS!" Leorio said while putting Gon and Killua in a headlock, much to your amusement.

Gon: "Agh! Leorio! I can't breathe!" Gon said while struggling to breathe.

Killua: "Okay! Okay! Im sorry! Please let us go!" Killua said, pleading with the angry Leorio.

Leorio: "Why the hell didn't you call me immediately?!" Leorio asked angrily while letting Gon and Killua go.

Gon: "In all honesty, I forgot at first. But when I remembered, Y/n stopped me. Wanting to see your surprised face." Gon said, shifting the blame to you.

Killua: "Yeah! It's y/n's fault! HE wanted to surprise you, not us." Killua said.

Leorio then slowly turned his head toward you, an aura of pure rage radiating off of him.

Leorio: "Y/n... Is this true?" Leorio asked, making you sweatdrop.

Y/n: "Uh... You see..." You said nervously, trying to explain yourself before Leorio murdered you.

Leorio: "Nevermind, It doesn't matter you're here and alive. And that's all that matters." Leorio said, letting you off the hook.

Leorio: "BUT. Dont do that again, " Leorio said while cracking his knuckles, making you quickly nod.

Leorio: "Anyway, How are you three coming along?" Leorio asked.

Gon: "What do you mean?" Gon asked.

Leorio: "You three have been training and getting stronger, haven't you?" Leorio asked, making Killua snort.

Leorio: "WHAT? You gave the badge back to Hisoka at Heavens Arena?! Not to mention you were good enough to reach the 200th floor... Just how strong have you gotten?" Leorio asked.

Gon: "Hey. Did you learn Nen, Leorio?" Gon asked.

Leorio: "You better believe I did." Leorio responded.

Gon: "That's awesome!" Gon said, thinking that he learned all the basics.

Killua: "Seriously?" Killua said, not believing him.

Leorio: "Why the hell would I lie about that? It's building up a shroud of aura, making your life force even stronger!" Leorio said with confidence, making Killua sigh in disappointment snd you laugh your ass off.

Gon: "That's Ten, actually. One of four major principles for learning Nen. " Gon said.

Leorio: "What?! Are you saying there's more to it?" Leorio asked.

Y/n: "BAHAHAHA "tHerE's mOrE tO iT?" OH MY GOD, YOU'RE SUCH AN IDIOT!" You said while laughing hysterically.

Killua: "I figured it'd be something like that." Killua said while you were still laughing.

Leorio: "Greed Island? What's that?" Leorio asked.

Killua: "A legendary game." Killua answered.

Gon: "We're trying to get a copy at the auction." Gon added.

Leorio: "But why would you even want one?" Leorio asked.

Gon: "I think the game might have a clue in it that'll help me find my dad." Gon answered.

Leorio: "Huh? A clue hidden in some video game? Why d'you think that?" Leorio said.

Y/n: "You're so clueless..." You mumbled.

Killua: "The real problem is the cost." Killua said.

Leorio: "How much is it?" Leorio asked.

Killua: "The lowest starting bid... Is 8.9 billion." Killua answered.

Leorio: "DID YOU SAY BILLION?! And how much do you have?" Leorio asked.

Gon: "After some bad investments we're down to... five million." Gon said sheepishly.

Y/n: "sOmE bAd iNvEStmenTS... Freaking moron." You said angrily, making Gon cry anime tears.

Leorio: "Okay, guys, listen up. This event is being held at Southernbees, the world's finest auction house, do that much money won't even cover the entry fee." Leorio said.

Gon: "But the acquisition rank for the game was listed as "easy" on the Hunter website." Gon retorted.

Leorio: "Really?" Leorio asked.

Gon: "Because to get your hands on a copy, all you need is money." Gon responded.

Leorio: "It's like I always say, money makes the world go round!" Leorio said while laughing.

Killua: "Well... All that really means... Is that real treasure just can't be purchased. If you can't get one, and pretty easily, too, you're not much of a Hunter. Right, you guys?" Killua said, making Leorio and Gon pretty angry.

Leorio: "Heh. I don't need you to tell me that. First things first, we need some seed money. Something to get the ball rolling." Leorio said as Gon opened...

Leorio: "Let's search for ways to we can make fast cash in Yorknew!" Leorio said.

Gon: "Yeah!" Gon said in agreeance.

Y/n: "They're so simple. Dont you think Killua?" You asked.

Killua: "Yeah. Leorio must be an enhancer, too." Killua said.

Leorio: "Huh? Swap?" Leorio said confused.

Gon: "What does that mean?" Gon said, clicking on a link.

Computer: "Swap Meet: A gathering for the auction and barter of objects. See also: Conditional Auction." The computer said.

Leorio: "Conditional auction?" Leorio said as Gon clicked.

Computer: "Conditional auction: An exchange in which the seller specifies a non-momentary condition and hands the item over to the first buyer who satisfies that condition." The computer explained.

Gon: "Conditions, huh?" Gon said.

Killua: "What does that mean?" Killua.

Y/n: "Dammit. All this auction and money mumbo jumbo is confusing." You said while huffing in annoyance.

Leorio: "All right..." Leorio said.

Leorio: "I think I get it. So, there's another kind of auctioning!" Leorio said while cackling.

-Cut to Kurapika.-

Dalzollene: "At 9:00 tonight, the mummy of Princess Corco will be sold off at the Underground Auction." Dalzollene explained.

Dalzollene: "IvIenkov, Tocino, and Baise, you'll be responsible for the bidding." Dalzollene said.

Basho: "Are three people gonna be enough?" Basho asked.

Dalzollene: "Buyers can only enter in groups of three. Weapons, communication, and recording devices are all strictly forbidden." Dalzollene explained.

Dalzollene: "The Mafia that runs the Underground Auction also handles security, so there's rarely any trouble. All it takes us one miscalculated move and then every Mafia member in the world becomes your enemy." Dalzollene said.

Dalzollene: "This auction is built on a foundation of trust. And thats the reason you won't see any surveillance camera on-site. The one unspoken is that any grudges are to be checked at the door." Dalzollene explained.

Dalzollene: "And so, if anything does happen, your word is of utmost importance. There are no courts here, but it will hold the same weight as sworn testimony. Each one of you must make a glowing impression. Dont cause minor disturbances for any reason. Speak to no one outside of this group." Dalzollene said.

Dalzollene: "Basho and Linssen will be covering the rear entrance. Kurapika and Melody will take the front entrance. Squala and I will guard the girl." Dalzollene explained.

Dalzollene: "And so... the mission will now begin." Dalzollene said.

Leorio: "Step right up, folks! Let's have a little conditional auctioning fun!" Leorio said, sounding like some suspicious salesman.

Leorio: "Here's what's up for bid! A diamond worth three million! Bought today with a certificate of authenticity!" Leorio explained.

Leorio: "Arm wrestling decides the winner! The first person to beat this boy walks off with the diamond! The entry fee is ten thousand!" Leorio said.

Leorio: '"All right. The auction starts now!" Leorio shouted as tons of people swarmed in to try and win the diamond.

Leorio: "No pushing people! Form a line!" Leorio demanded.

Then, you have a flashback on what Leorio said for you to do.

Leorio: "Adjust your strength to match that of your opponent. And pretend to struggle every now snd then."

Leorio: "Okay, you're up first!" Leorio said, making you snap out of your thoughts.

Leorio: "The entry fee in advance, please." Leorio said.

Random 1: "Here ya go. Ten thousand." The guy said, handing Leorio the money.

Leorio: "Thank you, sir. Now step right up!" Leorio said, making the guy smirk and sit down.

Leorio: "All right, clasp hands." Leorio said as you and your opponent clasp hands.

Leorio: "And remember... you get one round! Ready... Go!" Leorio said as you and your opponent started arm wrestling.

He was incredibly weak. Almost to a sad degree. Hell, he was so weak that it was actually hard to replicate his strength.

Then, after a few seconds, you gave your opponent the advantage. Pretending to struggle to fight back.

Leorio: "Uh-oh! Can he do it? You're almost there! Dont give up now!" Leorio said as you faked struggled.

Then, you decided to end him by slowly overpowering him, pretending this was some second wind. Then, you finally win.

Leorio: "Oh! That was a close one!" Leorio said.

Random: "Ah, dammit! I lost to a little blind kid!" The guy said as you smiled.

Leorio: "And who will be our next contender?" Leorio asked as someone stepped up.

Leorio: "Ready... and go!" Leorio said as you did the same thing as last time.

Killua: 'I get it... So, this is conditional auctioning. But to reach 8.9 billion, we'll need 889,999 wins.' Killua thought to himself, as you beat your opponent.

Leorio: "Another loser! So, who's up next?" Leorio said.

Onlooker: "He's beaten 150 people!"

Onlooker 2: "He's gotta be running out of steam."

Onlooker 3: "He looks tired and he's sweating bullets."

Onlooker 4: "Don't lose before I get my turn!"

You then began to stretch your arm, faking fatigue.

Y/n: 'Pfft. What a bunch of morons. Making money doing this is hilariously easy. What a joke!' You thought to yourself, a bit tired but.

Leorio: "Okay! So, who's up next?" Leorio asked, but everyone stood still.

Shizuku: "Hey, guys, the one we're looking for is sitting over at that table." Shizuku whispered.

Franklin: "Alright..." Franklin said as he took out a phone, calling Chrollo.

Chrollo: "Have you found him yet?" Chrollo asked over the phone.

Franklin: "Yes, sir. He's having a Conditional auction, but there's a bunch of people around, should we-" Franklin tries to ask if they should attack now, but gets cut off by chrollo.

Chrollo: "Yes, it's fine. Attack him. It's not like anyone will be able to stop us anyway." Chrollo ordered.

Chrollo: "Keep him there until the rest of us arrive. We'll be there in a minute or so." Chrollo ordered.

Franklin: "Right." Franklin said as he hung up the phone.

Franklin: "The boss said attack." Franklin said as he activated his finger guns.

Feitan: "Alright. Shizuku, you stay here." Feitan said as he took out his sword.

Feitan: "We'll keep him occupied." Feitan said as Shizuku went to the side of a building.

You then have a chill run down your spine, indicating that they were in danger.

But as you were about to warn everyone, Franklin started shooting uo the place. Luckily, missing you and your friends and hitting the building behind you.

Everyone then began to run away, not wanting to be in the crossfire.

Y/n: "HEY! Who the hell is-?!" You then get cut off by Feitan swinging his sword at you.

But, you dodge it. You then try to go in for a kick, but Feitan leaps away.

Y/n: "Hey. What the hell is your deal?! It's just arm wrestling!" You questioned angrily.

Feitan: "Why are you so angry? It's not like you were or your friends were hurt or anything." Feitan said slowly, trying to buy as much time ad possible.

Franklin: "Yeah. Honestly, I dont see why you're making such a big deal out of nothing." Franklin added.

Y/n: "Oh? So trying to kill me shouldn't be treated as a big deal? Are you high?" You said sarcastically.

Feitan: "I still dont see why you're so mad. You didn't die, so it's fine right?" Feitan asked, pretending to be dumb.

Y/n: "DUDE, you cannot be serious right now." You said while facepalming.

Franklin: "We are very serious." Franklin said.

Feitan: 'Ugh... How long until the others get here?' Feitan thought to himself, getting impatient.

Y/n: "You see my bulky friend, You can't just-" You tried to say, but get cut off by 1 person landing in front of you, and 9 others landing around you, in a circle formation.

Phinks: "Hello! How's your day been?" Phinks asked condescendingly.

Y/n: "Well, I was having a good time until your posse of pathetic showed up." You said snarkily.

Leorio: 'Dammit! It's always one problem after another! And we were doing so well!' Leorio thought to himself.

Killua: 'Why does this keep happening? It's like people are drawn to Y/n like moths to a light!' Killua thought to himself.

Gon: 'Damn... I hope Y/n will be all right. All of these people look strong...' Gon thought to himself.

Uvogin: "Pathetic? Do you not see the position you're in?" Uvogin asked.

Y/n: "What? Expect me to be shaking in my boots or something?" You responded while grinning.

Y/n: 'Tch. This isn't good. If I fight them all, the others'll get hurt.' You thought to yourself.

Y/n: 'Urgh... Even if They weren't here and I did fight them, I'll most likely lose.' You thought to yourself doubting that you'll be able to win against the phantom troupe.

Chrollo: "You'll be coming with us now." Chrollo said, appearing behind you.

You then punch him away, making the other members try to attack you, but were stopped by Chrollo putting his hand in the air.

Y/n: "You're nuts. As if I'd come with you, Moron." You said while smirking.

Feitan: "Well, How about this." Feitan said as he and Phinks grabbed Gon and Killua.

Leorio: "Hey! Let them-!" Leorio tries to speak but was cut off by Nobunaga knocking him out.

Phinks: "If you dont come with us, We'll kill your friends." Phinks said as held Killua in place.

Feitan: "It's not that hard. Just do what we say, and they'll be fine." Feitan said.

Y/n: "This feels oddly familiar. Whatever, I surrender." You said as you put your hands in the air.

Chrollo: "Good, Now then." Chrollo said as Uvogin grabbed you.

You knew that you couldn't escape. Not only was the physically strongest member holding you captive but your friends were also held captive.

Even if you were here by yourself, You couldn't even run away either. You had no way of knowing what their abilities were. So for all you know, One of them could stop time or something. So, you decided to cooperate for now.

Franklin: "Well, Mission success I guess." Franklin says.

Chrollo: "Let's head back to the base and have a talk a nice conversation, like civilized gentlemen." Chrollo said ad he and the rest of the troupe vanished.
